Just inside here!
Steven O.

I really can't say enough about how pleased I was with the Staff and the Quality of the coffee here on my last trip to Seattle! This isn't one of those Big Chains! You get treated like real people here, served by real people ! The cute little coffee shop is attached to the MarQueen Hotel and was a great find with some tables, inside and outside and a merchandise shelf too!

Latte with oat milk
Monica L.

A small cozy coffee shop. The barista was nice and friendly. I ordered a caffe late with oat milk and it was really smooth which I liked. I can see this place being a nice study spot although there aren't too many seats. Overall, I would say pretty solid coffee.

Nice sweet spot with good coffee and tasty ham and cheese croissant sandwich. Gets packed really easy and not enough space but overall really cute cafe.

Ok, I'm so annoyed. I had a friend pick me up a lavender matcha from here today and it was literally half foam. I mean comeON. It's not like this place is cheap so I kind of expect more from them than this. I was so looking forward to my drink. I dunno who made it today either, but it tastes really bland on top of everything else. Def not up to par at all. I'll just add that there is one barista that does an amazing job and I've LOVED all my drinks from them. The problem is, it's just not consistent enough. They really need everyone to be trained to the same level because it's just not worth coming out of my way and getting disappointing drinks when there are multiple coffee shops closer to me.

Maple latte & medicine (orange zest mocha)
Jesse B.

Fun little cafe with delicious coffee & tea drinks. They also offer baked goods and some other food but didn't try anything besides coffee. I tired the mocha with orange zest, which is an orange rind they put in the drink. It was not overly sweet and the milk was steamed and had a perfect amount of foam. My girlfriend had the maple latte, which she also loved. They offer reusable cups for $2.00 and you get a $0.25 on the drink you order. Small space with tables. They do have a few tables outside and there is a open space with tables and chairs across the street. Right on the corner of Roy and Queen Anne it was a delightful walk from our hotel just 10 minutes down the street.

My small black coffee (light roast) and my friend's medium cold brew with soy milk.
Natalie R.

Walking to Kerry Park, stopped in at this coffee shop for a quick pick me up. Ordered a simple black brewed coffee ($2.30 for small). Was given the option of light or medium roast and chose a light roast. Wasn't expecting much but was actually pleasantly surprised by the delicious brew. Smooth and light, with a sweeter note. I very much enjoyed this little cup of joe on a chillier morning walk! Additionally there was very nice customer service and they were very fast with my order! A chill spot to talk or get some work done on a laptop.

Nice quaint little place sit and have a cup of coffee. However one thing I wish they would stop doing is doubling cups. Unneeded garbage.

Out of the three, this one might be the coziest and most charming. Stopped in on a classic misty Seattle day for a chai latte, which was warm, balanced, and exactly what I wanted for the weather. The staff was incredibly friendly and even let me briefly bring my dog inside while placing a takeout order, which I really appreciated. The location is hard to beat: ample outdoor seating, easy street parking, and just steps from Kerry Park, beautiful residential streets, restaurants, and Molly Moon's across the street. It really captures that relaxed neighborhood coffee shop feeling Seattle does so well. Didn't try the food this time, but the pastries and burritos looked great. Already looking forward to coming back.

I remembered that there was a Caffe Vita near 2nd & Galer. Nice retail stretch with pizza, sandwich, ice cream choices, plus a French cafe nearby too. Lucked out with parking right at the corner. Several folks were seated outside enjoying the pleasant spring sunshine. I've been to other Caffe Vita locations in Capitol Hill, LQA w/KEXP FM at Seattle Center, Fremont, and Caffe Fiore on Sunset Hill/Ballard. There are other spots in Seattle, plus expansion to New York and Arizona. This was our first visit to this specific site. I liked the interior - wood, mirrors, art prints, and of course the wrap around counter with merch, coffee roasts, and Macrina pastries. Variety of indoor seating available, as well as, outdoor sidewalk seating. The barista team during this visit were very welcoming and efficient. I had my usual 16oz iced mocha and The Homie had a 16oz iced Arnold Palmer. I was happy that my accrued points resulted in a significant discount with this transaction. One of several indies in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood and has remained consistent and welcoming.

He especially loved that it had just the right amount of mint flavoring without being toothpaste For breakfast, I ordered their fruit danish! I love that they had different options of fruit to pick from and I chose blueberry! The pastry was perfectly flaky and I loved how fresh the blueberry tasted. My boyfriend ordered the chocolate croissant because he was excited at the idea of the chocolate being piped through the croissant and also drizzled over the top, but it turns out the dark brown parts on top are just design and not more chocolate. Still, he was pleased with the amount of chocolate in the croissant and the bite I had was heavenly. The champagne cake caught my eye as I was ordering and I just had to try a bite, it was absolutely delicious and fresh. I loved how light the cake was and the layers of flavour through the whole dessert! I love how bright and airy the cafe is! My boyfriend and I were easily able to find seating by the windows and enjoyed the gorgeous view of the space needle and people watching as we shared breakfast. The staff here was also patient and welcoming. We'll definitely have to come back and try more of their pastries!!

Both were delicious and definitely on the lighter side rather than a dark oolong. Crimson Mist leaned more earthy, while Golden Bloom was noticeably more floral. I mainly came for their premium kung fu tea, and honestly, the menu is overwhelming in the best way possible. I wanted to try everything. This time, I went with the Mountain Haze Green Tea. Grown at high altitudes, it's very light, smooth, and low in bitterness. The tea is steeped for you and served in a pot, and you can request multiple cups if you're sharing, which is a nice touch. Since green tea is a popular choice, here are a few extra notes. Dragonwell, typically from Hangzhou, has a nutty sweetness with subtle chestnut notes. Taichi Sprouts is milder and more grassy, but still carries a gentle sweetness. And if you're unsure what to order, Jasmine Green is always a safe bet, you can't go wrong with its classic floral aroma. Huge shoutout to Jessie for taking the time to clearly explain the different tea categories. I'll definitely be coming back, and next time I want to try their ice cream as well.

We tried the latte flight, which comes with four adventurous, creative flavors--including a miso latte! Overall, they were a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but very fun to try. The pour-over, however, was phenomenal: deep, rich, and full of berry notes. For food, we had: * Almond Croissant: Perfectly crispy on the outside. I loved that the filling was distributed all the way to the edges, so you get some in every single bite. * Chicken Avocado Salad: A wonderfully light meal featuring grilled chicken breast and a light dressing.

As soon as I walked in, I noticed the selection of pastries, hot brunch items, and coffee drinks. The coffee tasting menu looked enticing. If I had more time to leisurely work or talk with company here, I would have opted to go this more adventurous route. However, I did end up trying one of their seasonal menu items - the Sakura Blossom Cloud Latte. I customized this drink with oat milk, even though the foam has to stay as dairy. The oat milk added a nutty creaminess that I particularly enjoyed. There were notes of the sweet Sakura syrup with a slight saltiness from the cream foam that gives the drink its perfect balance. It was a refreshing drink for a pick-me-up and they only had it for a limited time! My only thing is that I felt some coffee beans at the bottom that may not have been grinded as finely but other than that, the drink was amazing and I would recommend as a good backdrop for a spring walk!
