    Matcha ice cream

We decided to stop by spontaneously after seeing their ice cream advertised outside. When we walked in, the owner was sitting down and didn't approach us right away -- he only came over after a couple of minutes. There was no greeting or "What would you like?" which made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable. just staring at us in a very uncomfortable way. We ordered the matcha ice cream for $9. For that price, I expected a richer matcha flavor, but it honestly just basic matcha powder from Costco. The taste was disappointing -- about 4/10. Very plain, overly sweet, and mostly tasted like condensed milk. Overall, the experience didn't feel very welcoming.

Stopped in spontaneously today and tried the rolled ice cream. Whoa. So fun to watch them make it right in front of you and it was incredible. Creamy, not too sweet, very cold and melts quickly in your mouth. I'm already craving more...

Amazing service, sweet family owned coffee shop with the most unique ice cream in the city! You can't mix flavors, but all are tasty and it's a big deal for Seattle to have a spot open until 10pm!!! Great late night snack to share.

Under new ownership/management and I totally dig their vibe. I had never heard of rolled ice cream before so tried it out on a hot sunny day. It was delicious and was made of only three ingredients and then the Oreos I added. It tasted like creamy homemade goodness. Next time I'm trying the banana one, because of course I'm coming back. It's a sweet dad and daughter run coffee shop. Check them out!

This place is a hidden gem. They are making frozen ice cream rolls with fresh fruit.and exclusively made with Thai ice cream machine. That is incredibly good. Plus with nicely shot coffee. From now on this is my happy place.

Just not good coffee. Tastes quite burnt and I ordered Hazelnut but it doesn't taste like that. Ordered a hemp milk decaf hazelnut latte

This is a quaint little coffee spot in Queen Anne. The mix of US and Turkish coffee and bakery is pretty cool. I liked the simit sandwich (vegetarian) and the chai latte. Both were really good and well made! The barista was very kind and friendly too. The ambiance is a little more come and chat with a friend over coffee than come and do work or read. Very much the cute little neighborhood coffee spot!

Wonderful coffee shop on a tucked away block on 10th on Queen Anne hill. Our Air BnB was next door. What a treat for the neighborhood.

Loved the vibe, friendly & mellow staff, and the seating area space. There are long tables to work at, comfy seating with games, and chairs to enjoy your coffee with friends. I ordered a drip to try out...did not disappoint. My kids ordered some iced coffee - sorry I wasn't paying attention when they ordered - and they were delicious! We did order a few food items to share for a snack but they were gone before I could snap a pictures. The coffee was perfect, no hint of burnt flavor. We got the salmon rice bowl, cauliflower and yodelin broth with shrimp added. The salmon rice bowl was essentially a salad topped on rice and fresh salmon. The quality of the ingredients were fantastic, you could tell how fresh it was but the actual dish itself wasn't anything crazy. The yodelin broth was a bowl of complex flavors. You could taste the fish, and it was very comforting. The mini shrimp in it were surprisingly good and they don't skimp out on the quantity. Finally, their cauliflower dish was delicious. It was a little crisp without being overly hard. The creamy sauces paired so well with the chili crisps. Definitely on the pricier end for the food but so good.

We were initially enticed to visit Chaco Coffee & Tea given the mention of boba on their website. There aren't many options near Seattle Center, so having an additional one is always welcome! Walking in, unfortunately we found no mention of boba anywhere on the menu. I guess it's a future option or perhaps the website is just wrong, considering that they show photos of rolled ice cream, which they also don't serve. Ordering can be done either in person or at a kiosk near the front. There's plenty of seating and while we entered in the late afternoon, there were still several people inside settled down on laptops. Osmanthus Oolong Tea, 16oz ($6.25) - This is a very lightly sweetened beverage with plenty of fragrant flowery flavor emanating from the osmanthus. It's a really clean flavor, not quite grassy, but somewhat green in essence, coming with just a slight astringent bite towards the finish. It's a good, clean iced tea. (4/5) Da Hong Pao Tea Latte ($7.50) - This latte has a nice strong balanced nutty flavor. I saw the barista pour milk into the cup up to maybe 3/4 full, so I'm surprised that the tea flavor is so strong in this drink. The milk adds tons of body but doesn't contribute an overwhelming dairy flavor. They add a lot more sugar syrup into this drink - it's probably equivalent to 75% sweet or so at a boba shop, although it's not harsh at all due to likely being pure cane syrup instead of fructose. (4/5) The tea quality at Chaco is pretty good. It's always nice to see a cafe (rather than a tea shop) with such great variety! The major downside - pricing is really high especially for some of the premium teas. It's like double the price of actual tea shops in Seattle. I guess that's the Seattle Center tax? Bathrooms - Shared with the rest of the building tenants.
