Love that this spot took over what used to be a Starbucks--always happy to support a local coffee shop instead of another chain. The space itself is really cute, with a nice indoor seating area that's great for studying or getting some work done. As for the drinks, I got the raspberry matcha and my friend got the vanilla matcha. Both had a strong aftertaste that wasn't the matcha flavor we're used to. It wasn't necessarily bad, just different and a little unexpected. I also couldn't really taste the raspberry at first, even though I was told it was blended in. After asking for a little more, I could finally see and taste the raspberry puree, which improved the drink. I loved the ambiance when I walked in, it felt modern with a bit of rustic Italian feel to it. They had so many products like juices, sugarfina candy, amazing smelling lotions and even truffle salt and oils to cook with. Service was very friendly and super quick for a Friday morning. I got my drink within a few minutes and i ordered the protein latte with dark chocolate and almond milk and it was nice and frothy and had a nice smooth consistency. Have been a regular when I used to stay at Brentwood given it's literally down the road. It did feel like your neighborhood coffee shop where the baristas felt like friends. So glad to find they finally expanded into Culver city. It was such convenient space with huge outdoor sitting area. No plugs unfortunately, otherwise could be my WFC spot option for sure. As it's their grand opening, signing up on their app today gave me access to $1 Cappuccino, such a steal! Their coffee was great, exactly like how I remembered it. Their baristas go through hours and hours of training and you can tell once you take a sip. I can't believe that there is finally a Caffe Luxxe east of the 405 in Downtown Culver City! I stopped by their soft opening week to experience their brand new spot where an old Starbucks once was. I made great conversation with the staff and talked about coffee, and enjoyed their cappuccino and croissant. I personally love their Cappuccino - made flat white style, Caffe Latte, Oat Matcha Latte and their Caffe Nico drink! They also offer pastries and other breakfast items like burritos, parfaits, waffles, juices to go, boxed candies and chocolate, bags of whole beans, and greetings cards. They also offer organic loose leaf tea and matcha options. In the corner of Culver and Washington, you'll find the yellow tables and chairs highlighting the cafe giving it a nice welcoming ambiance inside and out. Restroom available, but none of their cafes offer Wi-Fi to provide a place to be present. Street metered parking and garages nearby that validate for the 1st hour for free. read more

I was so excited to try this cafe as I had often seen it in passing, but never had the opportunity to try it as of yet. As I made my way in, the employees were so kind and gave me a quick rundown of all the cafe selections, and I love it when they take the time to explain the menu and give helpful tips about it. I went with the spritz, I believe it was the ginger mint tea, and I was happy as I love sparkling items and wondered how this one would taste. It was pretty good, and with the extra sweetener included, it added a better taste to it! I also loved the random goodies they had, such as the screen cleaner, Sugarfina candy, and shortbread cookies, which were also necessary and perfect during this time. A beautiful location! Located in downtown Culver, I had anticipated maybe some difficulties with parking but had no issues around 8:30 AM on a Monday across the street -- plenty of metered parking. The interior of the cafe was bright from the high ceilings and all the natural lighting filtering in through the large windows. A few tables with chairs inside and plenty of cute yellow chairs/tables outside if you want to enjoy your cup of iced coffee basking in the sun. They also were selling their own merch and also had a section dedicated to sugarfina goods. I got the Fiore Honey Buzz, one of their specials which was a honey shaken espresso with lavender cold foam. Service was quick and drink came out within a few minutes. Unfortunately, the drink tasted more like honey/milk and I could hardly taste any espresso :( if you prefer a sweet treat then try this out but if you prefer a more coffee forward drink then opt for something else without the sweeteners. The drink alone without alterations was $7.70 for a 12 oz drink which I found a bit steep... I'd like to give it another chance next time for just a plain latte to see if I can assess the coffee a bit better without the sweeteners! read more

I came here after seeing it just opened in Culver and was recommended to try it by a few people. I ordered the Honey Buzz, and it was good; however, it's definitely on the more pricey side. While the drink itself is flavorful, the size was pretty small as after 4 sips, the drink was finished. If the size was slightly bigger, I think the price would be worth while. Caffe Luxxe just opened in Culver City where the old Starbucks used to be, and it's such a great upgrade. I ordered the Honey Buzz an iced espresso shaken with honey and topped with a honey cold foam and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect balance of sweetness and bold coffee flavor. I also ordered the Turkey Gruyere Croissant, which was warm, flaky, and super satisfying. You can tell they use quality ingredients. On top of that, the service really stood out Colleen and Indy were both incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in. They were patient while I looked over the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and made sure my drink and food came out just right. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! read more

I am not a self entitled human being but I do know my coffee. My husband and I did not experience the great reviews everyone was talking about. My cappuccino was cold and milky even if I said "on the dry side." My husband's cold brew was so watered down he needed to add cinnamon and half and half, to no avail. I bought a mug which was overpriced in my opinion but I liked it so I bought it. Every time I asked a question the barista made me feel like I was bothering him. Great coffee, but this is the type of spot that have those baristas that get annoyed that you came in and they have to make a drink for you, when mind you that's their job!! I came in to order a latte , while two baristas a male and female were talking , they didn't great me which isn't a issue but I had to say "hello can I order " the guy looked annoyed he had to stop his conversation. Every time I come in it's the same guy with the same attitude upset that mid conversation he has to take an order. Love the lattes/coffee but horrible service :/ read more

We live about 1.5 blocks away and my wife and I were excited to try Cafe Luxxe on Sunday. When we arrived there were four people ahead of us, and during the wait we looked at the coffees and other items for sale - no prices were listed, so we defaulted to "too expensive." After a 20+ minute wait (note only four people before us) we got coffee and pastries - both of which were quite good. That said, when we got to the counter there were probably 20 or more people in line behind us - and with a wait of over 5 minutes per person, it's not at al tenable. Now, it's not the staff's fault - they were working diligently, but under-staffed. We'll give Cafe Luxxe the benefit of the doubt and try them again, but if the wait is similar, they'll never see us again. (and what's up with not pricing anything in the store? Can anyone say "arrogant?") read more

My new local favorite!! The egg bites are great and the lavender latte is a 10/10. They have THE best AC ive ever felt. Wish there was a bit more indoor seating but the store itself is modern and clean. And the managers are so kind. Happy this place is in the area. It's definitely my new go to. read more
