It's always a refreshing treat to get their draft latte. If you've never had it, then the best way I can describe it is to imagine drinking the top airy fluffy foam of a normal latte except the foam tastes like melted haagen-dazs coffee ice cream... and then as you drink more of it, you encounter the liquid portion which tastes like liquid/melted coffee haagen-dazs. It's quite unique and very refreshing. The only downside is how quickly the foam loses its volume and transitions back into a liquid. After about 10 minutes, your drink is basically 80% liquid and 20% foam. So it's important to drink it faster than slower lol Otherwise, it's yummy and I always look forward to coming here for a latte! Oh and did I mention, complimentary bubbly water?!

Vanilla Latte

Great coffee and kind service. I prefer to grab and go because it does not have the best ambiance for a cafe; however, there is seating available.

Oat latte draft

Oat latte on draft ftw. It's thick and gives a different coffee experience. Service was okay.

Stale caca cold brew

I usually get the oat latte and it's pretty good. Today I had the cold brew and it was turrible. Not only was it barely caffeinated, it had a nasty carbonated-like taste and a stale after taste. Don't get the cold brew, you will be disappointed and sad.

Ambiance: it's a busy coffee shop located on the ground level in century city mall, the line is usually Service: generally pretty fast serving the drink Drink: simple menu with seasonal items PUMPKIN PIE CHAI - *** OATMILK DRAFT LATTE, overly sweet and watery taste Price: it's certainly not worth $8.50 for a lackluster drink

Chocolate croissant

I had a chocolate croissant. It was good and the service was friendly. The ambiance was casual especially since this is in a mall. But I was happy they had a little snack I could buy to eat.

Iced vanilla latte with almond milk

I found this place on yelp and I'm happy I went, the coffee is very good. I got the iced vanilla latte with almond milk. The store was very clean, everyone working there was friendly and I got my coffee quickly. I would definitely come back and recommend!

Gingerbread latte with cinnamon

Came here a couple weeks ago with some coworkers after we had a team lunch at Panini Kabob Grill next door. Was craving some coffee so we ended up here. I couldn't really decide what to get so I ended up getting the gingerbread latte I believe which was a seasonal item I think. Since i'm lactose intolerant, I got the oatmilk substitute which came out to $1 extra I believe? And the final price for the small cup I got was over $7 if I recall correctly. To be honest, it was a bit underwhelming for what I got and how much I paid. I don't think I'll be back here again as it wasn't anything special in my mind. But i'm sure other people come here all the time and have their favorite drinks or reasons why they love this place. As usual, I recommend trying for yourself even if my experience wasn't a standout.

Americano

Definitely one of my top 5 coffee shops! The Americano is always on point, and the Draft Latte is smooth and delicious. They roast their own coffee, so every cup is fresh and full of flavor. Plus, the service is fast, and the staff is super knowledgeable!

Latte (plain)

Drink: 2/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Do I recommend: Not particularly Would I return: Maybe to give it one more chance The staff here were very friendly and non judgmental of my partner and I who were confused on what to order, but this place seems best suited for people with a preference for strong, somewhat generic coffee. The prices of the drinks and amount of menu options are pretty standard, and the vintage aesthetics of the place are very unique. An iced plain latte came out to about $6. The only issue my partner and I had with this place is that we got a strong, bitter latte when we were expecting a sweet one, but that is likely due to our minimal knowledge on how to order our ideal drink (we ordered a plain latte and did not ask for any additions). I am not a coffee connoisseur, but the actual espresso in this tasted unoriginal to me.

Something about this coffee. So dang good. Iced oat latte is my go to. Make it large and you get four shots.

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.
