Great place to stop for coffee! I live out of state and used to subscribe to their beans. Their beans are top quality, and they offer a variety of other drinks here. I also like how their space is kid-friendly and the staff is knowledgeable and kind.

Iced Matcha
Steve S.

I really enjoyed my iced matcha drink at this spot. Matcha was very flavourful, with a perfect balance of slightly bitter and sweet. Each sip was very refreshing. The spot itself has a clean, contemporary design with light-oak wooden finishes and they even have a small kids room behind a clear-glass partition wall. How cool is that!) And finally, the service was very friendly and efficient. Very happy I stopped by and I look forward to coming back!

Vivid Cream Latte

Found this cute little cafe by chance and I'm in love. I got the vivid cream latte and it was absolutely delicious. I will say, the amount of brown sugar syrup at the bottom is a little much, no matter how I much I stirred, I couldn't get it to mix. I arrived just a little bit before it got really busy, a huge rush came through. There is limited seating if you plan on getting some work done. It's also on the louder side once it gets busy. If you're looking for a quiet place, I wouldn't really suggest this place unless you have really good noise-cancelling headphones. The wifi works great, I was there for about 2.5 hours and didn't experiencing any lag of any sort. They have a little play pen for children which was absolutely adorable. Parking, it's mainly metered parking on the street. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely grab another cup of coffee.

Iced Latte & Americano

Visited here after brunch and this place was packed! This shop definitely deserves more reviews based on how busy they are. There was quite a line when I came in, and the 3 employees were definitely grinding out those drinks (a few drinks did look a bit messy but lol). I ordered just the iced latte and americano and it was pretty standard. It was nice, although I would say their coffee is pretty mild, not very strong at all, but does the job. The cafe set up here is pretty cute! I can tell a lot of moms would probably enjoy this coffee shop a lot because they have a dedicated play space for kids. So that's pretty nice to enjoy your coffee and bring the kids here to play. I did like how they had local asian products to support small businesses as well.

Einspanner in front of the colorful café

I stopped by Be Bright Coffee for a quick pick-me-up after the gym; I was lucky to get street parking right in front of the store. Barista was nice and allowed me to adjust my einspanner order. My drink had a solid coffee kick, but I wish it was creamier (as I'm more accustomed to creamy einspanners). Overall, it didn't blow me away, but it did the trick!

Vivid cream latte

So glad I stumbled across this lovely coffee shop in my neighborhood! The space is fittingly so bright and the staff so welcoming and warm, and I love that there's a kid friendly section too :) A good spot to get some work done. I got their vivid cream latte which a latte with brown sugar, cold foam, and cocoa powder! I was blown away by indeed how vivid and quality-tasting their coffee was. Parking is street parking or neighborhood.

I don't know how to say this and for people to believe it to be true, but I asked for a caramel latte or something similar and it was the best coffee I've had in so long. Great pit stop after walking melrose looking for new sneakers. If I lived here I'd come back regularly.

Latte, cappuccino, apple cheesecake danish, tomato pesto danish
Sima A.

Service was great, the barista was super friendly and made sure I got to taste the beans I was looking into buying. The pesto tomato danish was very good exactly what I was hoping for. The latte with their "A City on a Hill" beans was great. Such a nice dark roast without the bitterness; almost like Turkish coffee. The shop itself has good seating and the vibes are very casual and calm. However, the bathroom was dirty and hardly usable.

Black Sesame Mocha
Michael W.

Came here after lunch on Saturday and got their fall specials - the Black Sesame Mocha. It was really good, not too sweet, and the black sesame flavor was definitely there. It also had black sesame crunchy bits in it which gave it an interesting texture for a mocha. Plus, the presentation and latte art was spot on, so pretty! Dogs were also allowed which was great as we had our dog with us. Will definitely be back to try their coffee/latte as the chocolate flavor in the mocha covered most of the coffee flavor.

Had the Pandan Ube in the matcha version and the latte version -- hands down amazing. The base matcha and latte is already sooo good that the added pandan ube foam is just the sprinkle on top. Staff is nice and very skilled baristas. Inside they have a little play pen for kids, a lot of seating for causal reading/studying, and area to chat with friends. Perfect for everyone. Parking is limited, need to find street parking.

Listed on "Food and Wine," as one of the top LA coffee restaurants for a reason! WOW! The AAPI Special heritage menu was exceptional!!! We tried the mitsugaru latte and the ultralight bean. The coffee had an incredible taste. The flavors shone through and enlightened the coffee. Honestly would love to visit every day! This place has cold foam down and on point! Such a beautiful sunlight cafe. Great service and wonderful staff.

Island latte

Island latte taste like sitting on a beach underneath palm trees, quiet, peaceful morning, meditating before a fun filled relaxing day on vacation. Perfect amount of sweetness, espresso, and cream. YUM. Ample sitting, friendly staff and normal LA coffee prices. Great spot!

Vivid Cream & Toasted Island Latte
Jodie F.

I saw some unique coffees on the menu & had to try :) Vivid Cream Latte - Tastes just like brown sugar milk tea! Loved it. Great for those with a sweet tooth, but I'd opt for little less sweet next time. Toasted Island Latte - I'm from Hawaii so anything with coconut cream & macnut, I'm in! This latte didn't disappoint but it wasn't as sweet as I would've liked. Could've borrowed some sweetness from the Vivid Cream Latte lol.

This place has been such a staple in hollywood and it's always good. I love that they change the menu to try new things but also keep some of the old goodies. Today i tried the new broccoli dish and the steak frites with salad . So so so good!! Sauce on the steak was fantastic. The fries were excellent . I'm not a French fry person (i don't order because i try to stay away from fried food) and it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - seasoned perfectly and pairs well with the aioli sauce. The eggs and morning plates are some of my favorite things here for breakfast and i love their croissants and cookies!! The chicken Caesar wrap is a huge hit and i know the Gen Z's love this according to my younger sister lol. I feel like you can't go wrong here, always something for everyone. We've brought friends and family here over the years and we'll always continue to do so. The service is also super friendly . I love that they expanded to the side walk because the wait times used to be even crazier when it was just the patio . I remember sooo well. Love the expansion. Im big breakfast burrito girlie and heard about the famous dialogue breakfast burrito. However, being that I'm not a huge fan of sausage, I went with their brisket verde burrito (excellent swap). Good amount of beef briskets, soft scrambled eggs, and hash with cilantro and diced onion bites. The green sauce it comes with was just phenomenal. If you're not a bacon and sausage person like myself, you must try the brisket breakfast burrito here. Excellent!!! Topped it with the honey sage cloud match (very good). Made with A2 milk. Love the hint of sage note. Definitely a come back spot for sure. Bringing my other pup along the next time.

This point is key as this neighborhood can be tricky to park in during peak business hours even though there are several metered spots available in front of the shop and on surrounding streets. I recently visited on a Friday morning and found nearby parking within walking distance, and you could also park at the nearby library and walk if the cafe if circling around for a spot is getting you nowhere. Now, on to the cafe itself! Verve offers a variety of drinks along with pastries for sale, and they even hosted a cookbook popup during my recent visit. I usually get espresso-based drinks or their cold brew, and I've never been disappointed by the drink quality or the time it takes to prepare my beverages. There's ample seating both indoors and outdoors, and I could see why this would be a popular spot for reading or getting work on your laptop done.

Unfortunately, Community Goods is worth the hype and I will be coming back and waiting in line haha…read more I went for the first time a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning around 9:30am and waited 1.5 hours. The line is not for the faint of heart. I tried their matcha einspanner, breakfast sliders, and pistachio toast and all three were AMAZING. - Matcha Einspanner: One of the best matchas I've ever had! The matcha is so well balanced - you can actually taste the matcha, not too sweet, and creamy too. They also sprinkle sea salt on top which helps enhance the matcha flavor. My only complaint is that I wish the cup was bigger. - Breakfast Sliders: I wasn't expecting much from the sliders, but everyone always hypes up their slides, so I knew I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed! The egg is so fluffy and the sauces that come with it are so delicious, especially their hot sauced. I added bacon and avocado too and it was great. - Pistachio Toast: I feel like their pistachio toast is not talked about enough. It was so yummy and satisfying that I wish I could get another one. The toast is hearty and the pistachio spread with sea salt, olive oil, and olive oil is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I'm still thinking about their toast. Although it is quite pricey, I think the taste and quality justify the price. The interior is small and there's about 6 tables outside which is pretty crowded so you might have to take it elsewhere to enjoy.
