    Ice cap

Super quiet on a Thursday morning; wonderful place to grab a cup of coffee and read/do work. Probably only the downside is there is only 1h free street parking in the neighborhood, otherwise have to park on the lot! What I got: ice cap - personally thought it was gonna be a heftier, but sweeter drink but I should have asked (its just an ice cappuccino:')). The espresso was really good- very smooth dog friendly outdoors :)

My sister frequents cafe carasau pretty often! She brought me by yesterday to grab some breakfast goodies and to my surprise they had tons of treats! She ordered a matcha and I ordered a slice of apricot pie, meatballs and eggs for breakfast served with tasty focaccia, and a baguette! The meatball and eggs was *chefs kiss* delicious! That was a good, protein packed breakfast. It came with a side salad! The apricot pie was delicious! This is such a cute cafe, tucked away in downtown Culver City. The service is always top notch here!

Such a cute little hidden spot in Culver City. We were looking for a spot to get morning coffee and pastries and landed here. We ordered two matcha lattes instead and a chocolate eclair. The matcha latte was good but the heated / frothed milk could have been hotter. Overall the drink felt slightly over room temperature. The eclair was perfect. Less bread and more chocolate filling. Delicious! Would definitely order it again. Service was friendly. Since we went close to 10am on a Sunday it was still relatively quiet. The associate who helped us with our order offered to answer any questions. The cafe also has a few goods from Italy for sale. Take a walk by the wall to check it out. Need to to visit again to try the coffee. Espresso Italiano

This review is solely for the dessert! We stopped by after a show at the nearby theater and craved something dessert to end the night on a sweet note. Based on the server's recommendations, we ordered the seada ($14) and the brioche pudding ($10). He stated that Carasau Cafe is the only Sardinian restaurant in the area and the one place you can order the seada which is a Sardinian dessert. The seada appears to be a fancy dumpling with lemon and cheese filling. Not personally my taste but very unique in its flavor and presentation is impeccable. The flakiness of the outside crispiness and the inside soft filling with drizzled honey is a mix of flavors and textures. The brioche pudding was rich in flavor and dense with an accompanying mango sauce. Very flavorful and comforting in its warm sweetness that made it filling as well. The mango was an interesting complement. There is also inside or outside seating and we opted for outside for the welcoming lighting as well as heat lamps.

Cappuccino w/ Vanilla + double espresso

I will definitely be adding Carasau Cafe to my top coffee stops in LA. I had a gorgeous cappuccino with vanilla: smooth, flavorful. My partner had a double espresso: robust and complex. It is in a beautiful location just off the Culver Blvd main drive - great seating options indoor and outdoor. We sat outdoor to enjoy the ambience, greenery and gorgeous mural on the Pali Hotel exterior.

Came here today with a group and we all had a blast. We got iced latte with coffee whip (made in-house), cappuccino, affogato, poison ivy, bombolone (italian donut made fresh daily with cream), berry tart and focaccia pizza. Everything was so good and the Owner is super friendly. Dog friendly patio, wifi for us digital nomads, and parking is inside Culver Steps.

Great Staff, Empty on a weekday day morning, was easy to find parking, a little pricey but worth every cent. Came for an Affogato and stayed for lunch. mini charcuterie.

Fantastic place, great place to work, delicious food and kind owner! What more can you ask for? This cafe opened a month ago right next to their established, affiliated restaurant next door. Francesco was very welcoming and clearly passionate about his food and coffee. I got a delicious large pizetta (only $4.96 including tax), but will have to be back for their bombettas (Italian donut) and espresso roasted in house. Wi-fi available, good amount of seating, easy quiet low-fi music made it a great ambience to get work done. Highly recommend, will be back next time I'm in the area!

We walked into a polished, contemporary space with a premium feel, the kind of place that feels closer to a specialty tea café than a traditional boba shop. The branding, presentation, and overall atmosphere are a big part of the appeal, creating a space that feels designed for both grabbing a drink and hanging out. The interior is clean and intentional, with a design that elevates the experience beyond a typical tea stop. The biggest strength of CHAGEE is the tea quality. The drinks tend to highlight the actual tea flavor, which makes them stand out from many milk tea shops that rely heavily on sugar or toppings. The jasmine-based drinks are a good example, with a fragrant floral profile that comes through clearly without being perfumed. The menu has a nice balance between classic milk teas and more unique tea creations. The drinks are generally less sweet and more focused on the tea itself, so it works well for anyone who wants something different from standard boba. The downside is that the drinks can feel a little expensive compared to other tea shops, especially since most of the appeal comes from the quality of the tea rather than large portions or lots of toppings. The portions are reasonable, but the cost reflects the premium positioning of the brand. The main issue with CHAGEE is consistency and wait times. Some locations can get extremely crowded, and the popularity sometimes creates long lines that make the experience less convenient. The ordering process is usually organized, but the wait can be difficult to justify when the final drink is more of a solid tea experience rather than something completely unique. Service is generally friendly, and the staff seem well trained despite the busy environment. They handle the flow efficiently, but the volume can test the operation's capacity. CHAGEE feels like a premium tea shop aimed at people who appreciate the flavor of tea itself. It is not necessarily the place to go if you want a dessert-like boba drink loaded with toppings, but it is a good option for jasmine tea, oolong, and more refined milk tea flavors. The atmosphere and presentation add to the experience, though the long waits and higher prices may determine whether it becomes a regular stop or just a place to try once. For what it does, it executes the concept well, offering a drink that feels more like a tea experience than a sugary treat.

I wanted to give Chagee a try because of all the hype, but overall, I found it just okay…read more One of my biggest frustrations was that some drinks don't allow you to customize the ice level or sweetness, which is something I generally expect from a tea or boba shop. Being able to adjust a drink to your personal preference is a big part of the experience for me. The store itself is beautiful and clearly designed with social media in mind. It's stylish, modern, and definitely very Instagram-friendly. However, it felt like the focus was more on the branding and aesthetics than on the tea itself. The drinks were decent, but nothing particularly memorable. If you're looking for a trendy spot to take photos or see what the buzz is about, it might be worth a visit. But if you're a serious tea drinker or looking for what I'd consider a true boba tea shop experience, I probably wouldn't recommend it as my first choice.

First, shout out to the staff who were so friendly, and patient! When we had a moment of indecisiveness strike just as we were 1 out of 4 orders down. Not only that but granted the shop is small but it was sweet they delivered some to us personally. The ambiance is sunny in there: bright, airy, vinyls playing. And the soft serve ice cream itself was so good. Plenty of options you can't go wrong with original Hokey Pokey and the butter pecan (which also had a whipped topping that wasn't too heavy at all) which were my favorites. That texture! That crunch! Also love that they sell pints to-go. (I wonder how those hold up, because experiencing this fresh was really out of this world.) Open an hour later than mall close as well.

Their desserts are unique, beautiful, and incredibly delicious. The best way I can describe them is somewhere between a croissant and a filled donut, with layers of flaky pastry and rich, flavorful fillings. The strawberry flavor is my personal favorite (and the one pictured in my photo), but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. They're sweet, satisfying, and almost too pretty to eat. I actually decided to visit after seeing a review from one of my Yelp friends mentioning that ordering this drink gets you a free lip gloss and sheet mask from Olive Young. I asked the cashier about it, and she confirmed it was true, so I decided to give it a try! The latte was delicious and not too sweet, which I liked. The only downside was that I couldn't get it decaf since it's matcha, and they didn't offer non-fat milk either. However, the cashier was friendly. She asked what kind of milk I preferred and brought up the Olive Young promo, asking if I was going to wait in line. When I told them I wasn't sure yet, she gave me a good tip: she said if I didn't want to wait, I could just show the green Olive Young card to the security guard to get the goodie bag. I was thankful for the advice! Interestingly enough, when I actually went to Olive Young, the security guard just told me to ask about the front desk. Despite that little mix-up, the cashier was very sweet and the matcha latte was good so I'm satisfied overall. I just really wish they had a decaf option! cf) One other disappointing thing was that the Asian woman who had been very unfriendly during my previous visit was still working there making coffee.
