Service was very nice. Had a ham, cheese, and egg sandwich. It was good. The donuts though... i had gotten the coffee cream and jelly. I didn't eat them until hours later but still delicious.. wish I lived close, id definitely try the other flavors! Coffee was also good.

The driving forces behind Caffe are brother and sister who have set themselves apart in the last 2 years from another well-known cafe-type place also on Mill Hill Rd in Woodstock. Unlike the other eatery, these folks bring an array of yummy, moist, yeasty donuts, sell Italian packaged products- but have a smaller selection on bakery items. Caffe is on the smallish side- but their high ceiling and large, live edge communal high table make the entire space appear larger than what it is. Bombolonis are perfectly lined on your left as soon as you walk in- followed by already-prepared sandwiches and other bites. All the Bombolonis looked divine but their Nutella won big time! The donuts are packed with filling- but can I dare say I wish they could've been more jam-packed with even more Nutella? Still, my doughnut was insanely delicious, tender and juicy. What's not to love about that? And what a special treat it was before driving home.

What a great breakfast stop! The staff are so friendly, pastries are fresh, and the ambiance is wonderful!! I love that it has a local feel with a great welcoming environment for tourists. The coffee was wonderful and refreshing- illy brand and complimented the pastries very well.

What a treat for Woodstock! I don't know why it took me so long but when I finally went in, my mind was blown in the most amazingly delicious way. I also bumped into some of my favourite people and I found out that the owner and people who work here are also some of my favourite people! The coffee is incredible, it's like any amazing coffee you would find in Italy or France or America, the food is ridiculously amazing and gorgeous and delicious and I could go on and on. The atmosphere is lovely, and I honestly could eat one of everything so I can only go every other day! Every time I've been I've tried something new and have been so delightfully delighted a.k.a. pleasantly surprised in the best way. Yesterday, I think I really did get one of everything and ate half of it before I went to bed! So glad you are here see you again soon! I took a really cool video but I can't post it here sadly. You just have to go in, especially first thing in the morning.

Had their ham and cheese on a croissant. It was the most tender and flaky croissant I have ever experienced!

The revueltas is bean, pork mixed: recommend that one. We did 2 of those and 1 spinach and it was perfect. We also got huevos y pancakes. The pancakes for some reason I feel like they make it similar to the papusas cuz it was like thinly sliced. Ain't nothing by wrong with that - just noticing. I liked it thin cuz it was filling enough to get our sweet kick. Service was on point. They got a small bar which was cool. Inside there is a few seating and you could probably bring a stroller but honestly just bring the car seat and put it in one of the chairs. Once I saw papusas on the menu compared to the typical benedict bs at other restaurants with the flower and string light, and cursive chalk board writing menus, I was like babe we gotta go here for breakfast lmao. Hella random but Google said this spot was busier than usual and there was like 2 tables seated when we got there. Not a knock on this spot at all - just don't trust everything your phone tells you besides what I write into the ether that is the internet for my Yelp reviews. Ok ADHD rant done.

I got one of the spinach and cheese and one bean and cheese. Both were just good. They definitely needed the cabbage for more flavor. I'd suggest asking for more cabbage since they only give you a tiny ramekin. I also tried my mom's croissant French toast which had strawberries and, if you're into sweets, it's a good choice. I liked it better than my own meal. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

Their menu is extensive and impressive; they have some all-star dishes on their permanent menu as well as a rotating daily menu with a legendary lineup of seasonal items. I really appreciate that they have dishes that are hard to come by such as lentil loaf and lasagna, and these never disappoint. The lentil loaf is unique; it is a little brick of lentils (not your traditional sliceable mush of breadcrumbs and minced veggies). It's very well seasoned and the tomato sauce on top is not overly sweet. The mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy and (very) garlicky greens make it a great meal. The lasagna is one of my favorite dishes. It's pasta-free and just made from layers of sliced zucchini and other veggies sandwiched with their delicious crumbly housemade cashew cheese. The herby tomato sauce is super flavorful. The side salad and garlic bread that accompany it are great also; an ultra comforting meal. We enjoyed the macro meal, although honestly not as much as the other dishes. The pan-seared tofu was delicious, but the arame seaweed salad was super seaweedy and salty - a bit much for me. I'm also not sure why they didn't serve it in a bowl, which would have made the rice etc. easier to eat. It seemed to be missing something - perhaps avocado, or a hunk of sweet potato. A few items at the Garden Cafe are a little perplexing, compared to how perfect most of their food is. The tempeh is just ok. It's heavily marinated in a sweet and salty sauce and kind of strange. Also disappointing that it's just a big brand tempeh rather than one of the local tempeh brands available in the area. The housemade focaccia is also bizarre. The texture made me think it was gluten-free (but it's not). Is it whole wheat?? If that's the case, awesome, but they should mention that on the menu, so you aren't taken aback when you don't get pillowy airy bread and instead get something flat and gray that could be mistaken for a biscotti. We LOVE the Garden Cafe and wish more places like this existed serving organic classic meals. We wish they would open a location in New York City, but until then, we will be making the drive!

The aesthetic is…read moregorgeous but very welcoming; we went on a beautiful day so we opted to sit outside on their nice shady balcony. We chose SILVIA because the menu is vegetable forward and as a vegetarian there were several dishes I had to try. Both my omni partner and I loved the mushroom lentil pâté, stuffed artichokes, and smoked beets we had for appetizers. The pâté is rich and flavorful and the pickled veggies it's served with are so good we only wished the dish came with more of them. The artichokes were perfectly tender and are stuffed with raclette and ramp (YUM), and the lemon breadcrumbs they're topped with pair so well with the cheese, and add a lovely brightness and zing. The smoked beets were also perfectly tender with a deep rich smokey flavor, and the chimichurri they come with does a nice job to add brightness (There's a theme here of rich flavors paired with brightness to make your palette pop). For an entrée we opted to share the local mushroom & pasta rags dish. the pasta rags were cooked nicely, soft but still toothy, and the mushrooms, black garlic butter, and thyme added a rich deep flavor. I was obsessed with the amount of parmigiano reggiano the pasta was topped with -- I could've eaten plate after plate of this dish. Their cocktail menu seems to be just as well thought out as their food with some unique offerings. I tried and enjoyed both Mezcal options. Service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive. TL;DR: beautiful space, absolutely delicious food, plenty of vegetarian options, fun cocktails, great service. Go here.

It's one of those places where you walk in thinking you're just grabbing a tea/coffee and a quick bite and suddenly you're deciding between getting a quinoa bowl, bagel sandwich, oatmeal, salad or falafel. Somehow, they pull off the menu for every eating lifestyle without feeling cramp. It works for everybody. They have your breakfast basics covered: eggs, rolls, wraps, toast or whatever carb you're in the mood for. If you have a sweet tooth, they have pastries, if you're on a 'healthy' kick, they have bowls. I had The Lox Works and it actually lived up to the name. Plenty of salmon, red onions, a sliver of creamy cream cheese how I like it (I skipped the capers, personal choice). The bagel itself was fresh and had that perfect crisp on the outside and a chewy inside. Except, it's little on the doughy side, and the tomato slices were also thick- but still, the sandwich was tasty. Service was great and considering Nana's is literally on the main strip in Woodstock, the prices are surprisingly chill. Just solid food, good vibes and the kind of spot you end up going back to without even meaning to.
