I have shopped here consistently for the past four years when I come to visit my daughter in this neighborhood and have never found the employees here helpful or friendly. I make sure to do plenty of research on the products I'm interested in prior to going in because they are not helpful at all when it comes to educating the customer on the products nor will they make recommendations. (There is never enough conversation initiated to even get that far. It's not for lack of trying. I have!) Most of the times I have shopped in there, there's not a single customer around, so it's not because they're busy. They just act like it's a complete annoyance to be asked a question about the products. I would just advise customers to have their phones handy and ready to search the products that way rather than asking. You'll get a lot further. I would have spent a heck of a lot more money in there if they were at all interested in their customers. As cute and cool of a store as it is, this is disappointing.

A few months ago, she chopped 3 inches off with out telling me & in the process effed up my hair. 3 f******* inches and f***** it up. So pissed. Became completely done with that crap. I have to build trust with them. I've had some sheisty hair experiences from back in the day that have put me on PAUSE & made me skeptical as hell. Regina saves the day, showing me what damage my old hairdresser has really done to my hair. I should of been with Regina from Day 1. Mad I didn't find her sooner, but happy to have her now. The service inside the establishment is amazing you're automatically greeted by the receptionist and your wait is never too long. Appointments are kept and everybody is very warm and welcoming. I know all the stylists and they all do amazing work. Mecka Katora Shasha Shakeilla have all done my hair at one point in time and I would definitely go back to anybody in the shop if Regina wasn't available. My whole family goes here and a few of my friends as week I get my natural hair done there as well as my weaves, custom wigs, custom colors and my bundles. I ran to Yelp & Google looking for a salon with positive reviews and Sunday hours. It seemed like everyone in Brooklyn/ Queens area was closed, closing or "too booked" to even let me finish asking for an appointment. I was getting pretty discouraged until I found Adorn Salon .Wow ! Talk about good luck ..I couldn't have asked for more professional and kind treatment from the first call until I left the salon later that day. I was invited in that same day with no problem about it being a Sunday afternoon. The salon itself was nicely decorated, clean and roomy with a nice positive vibe. Very friendly & comfortable. Gina and Princess were both excellent hair artists and worked well together to make my experience at Adorn perfect in every way. I got my hair trimmed & colored and loved it. Then my hair extensions got colored two gorgeous shades that matched my hair perfectly (Gina, you're amazing). The extensions were sewn in quickly, painlessly and flawless by Princess ! What I love about Jenni is that she will always be straight with you when it comes to what can/can't and should/should not be done with your hair. She would rather see you do what's best for the health and look of your hair than just take your money, like a lot of salons that couldn't care less.
