    One menu, several options

Adorable Paris Cafe! We had the ale Fameux for 27€ the single server was busy and polite, food was served quickly and was great. The inlet was well cooked and not raw which is ideal. Cute little spot with a good menu of items that include pastry, crepes, avocado toast, omelets.

Grabbed a quick bite on my first night in Paris. Open later (after late hours at the Louvre.). Cozy seating; sit inside if you want to dodge the smoking. Had the Coque Madmoiselle which is an ham sandwich with cheese melted/broiled on top is the bread; and a fried/broiled egg on top of it all. It was so good! Came with frites and a small salad. 13euro. Great deal. Also split some wine (Cote du Rhône) which was quite good for the price as well. 18e for 50cl.

We came here for a late breakfast. I had the avocado toast without the egg and smoked salmon (to make it vegan), one daughter had the Nutella and strawberry crepe (and the feta cheese from my salad), and one daughter had a vegetarian omelette. The coffee was great (they had soy milk). The country bread for my avocado toast was so good! Service was also good, and the cafe is a charming small place. We intended to return for another meal but we couldn't make it work with our schedule. Next time!

Food 3 stars and service 5 stars. Everything was pretty good here and the service was great. If you need a casual quick bite with nice servers and ok food I'd say go here. The escargot and bread was the best part and everything else was ok. Nothing special. The sauce that came with the rumpsteak was awesome but the steak itself was small, tough, and definitely rare (bordering on blue rare) and I asked for medium rare. The pasta with pesto sauce was also ok. And the cheese platter just seemed a little messy.

Call me crazy, but I thoroughly enjoyed this little place. In two visits the food, service and ambiance were exactly the flavor of Paris I hoped for. Both occasions excellent service, attention and quality/quantities of food were the order. First visit a cheese and charcuterie plat du jour was more than ample with fresh baguette and a cold Karlsberg to accompany. Second visit a French onion soup my wife would have made for me. Followed by Magret de canard nicely done and well presented. A Vodka to finish the meal was the end to an excellent day wandering the area of the LOUVRE.

Close to the Musée du Louvre, and it is open late at night. The prices are moderately high, but it is Paris. My steak was delicious, though it was in small portion. The café is dimly lit, and the server was not very nice. In fact, I found him to be condescending because of my friend's and my poor knowledge of French -- he seemed frustrated and took away my friend's dish before she finished. I hope this was just one bad Parisian experience because Paris is beautiful.

We popped in on a rainy Monday for lunch and were seated right away. For tourists- this is near the Louvre- the menu is in both English and French. We started with the baked eggs and they were amazing, warm and creamy with chives and mushrooms. The three cheese tagliatelle had just the perfect amount of blue cheese to not overpower the meal and the pasta looked freshly made. I had the roast chicken and mashed potatoes, they tasted just like my grandma's. Would definitely eat there again

The Lasagna with salad was good just think they should cook the pasta a little more. According to my grandmother, As for the penne with shrimp was good.

Good food but the only restaurant we went to where the waiter asked how much of a tip he should add to my bill.

I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! The mousse and apple bits were cold & delicious and the chocolate shell was good, but not sure if it was worth the price at €7.5. + Pain Au Chocolat Cookie - Verrrry good chocolate chip cookie, chocolate croissant mashup. Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ - Smallish, tight interior that you can dine in at, but don't be surprised if the next table is sitting on top of you. + There are also 5 outdoor tables on the narrow street. - Entrance is tight too. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- + Even though this bakery is ranked highly on Tripadvisor, there was no crowd on the Monday morning that we swung by. We came here for some coffee on a rainy afternoon, but were pleasantly surprised to see escargot on the menu too and figured we'd give it a shot. Coffee wise we got the vienna coffee which had chocolate inside. It was good, with a nice espresso flavor and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. A nice pick me up for the day. The escargot on the other hand, was so fantastic. They were served all cute in their little shells on a tray, and bubbling when we first got them. The green sauce that they came with was fantastic, and the butter was also a great addition! This made for such a flavorful little bite - escargots taste like little chewy clams to me, nothing strange at all. It also came with a few pieces of baguette to soak up the yummy sauce. Service was friendly and the inside of the restaurant has such a nice vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot!
