This is the correct menu on their website. However, none of the pricing is correct.

Worst customer service experience I've ever experienced at a Cagneys. I would stay far away from this location. Not only is there pricing not correct and they will try to scam you. Their restaurant is filthy. They take no pride in cleaning anything. Spend your money someplace else this place is a health hazard.

I finally stopped in to try it a couple weeks ago. I was leery because like everywhere else you read mixed reviews and I really hated the place that was here before, MnK. I stopped in on a Thursday around 3 and I was the only one in there eating, others were finishing up. I was seated promptly by a very nice waitress who was attentive the whole time, she kept my tea cup full or rather she kept bringing me whole new cups of tea and one thing I hate is running out of my beverage. The special was chicken n dumplings which I love and heard were good and thats the main reason I stopped. I ordered them and the 2 sides they came with and a biscuit. Pretty good deal for $8 something not including the afore mentioned tea. I am very picky about dumplins and these were actually pretty good, something is still just a hair off but I cant place my finger on it. Like there is something in them that doesnt normally belong, like ham or some such. Good still and it sure didnt stop me from eating the whole bowl. And lets talk about that bowl, it is just one size and it is HUGE!!!!! My sides of okra and broccoli casserole were equally delicious and the biscuit also though it was 2 days later before I finally had that for breakfast. I ordered two pieces of cake to go, Banana Pudding cake and Carrot Cake. I was told the owners Mom makes all the desserts and at $5.25 each you do get a huge piece. Sadly, we did not like either cake. The pudding one was almost all gone when I ordered it and our piece was very dry, maybe been in that vision case awhile or too much opening the doors, who knows. Maybe its suppose to be dry. I love nanner pudding but this is the first time I had ever seen it in cake form. Carrot cake was just so dang overly spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg or some such we couldn't eat it. Both could have used more frosting, I like a lot on my cakes and berween layers and these were both skimpy. We will be back for the service and regular food but we will be skipping dessert. I am glad they came to town and I hope they stick around! August, 2021.

Farmers omelet with sides of grits/home fries/toast

I'm hesitant to ever do reviews on Take out orders, but I think they still deserve a fair shot. We've frequented this restaurant for breakfast numerous times. I've tried numerous things, but I love this order in particular. Farmers Omelet (bacon, sausage, tomatoes, peppers, onions), along with a side of grits, home fries and toast. I've ordered take out from them before and have been let down numerous times with the food quality/packaging. But I have to be honest, even after having less than spectacular times...this keeps me coming back! The only criticism I can give is that I wish their grits were a little more seasoned. All in all, I will definitely visit them again.

One star because I can't give none. Country fried chicken, fried squash & white rice! Chicken was soaked in CHEAP, cold gravy, squash was inedible & white rice was an imitation of the riceroni chicken rice! THIS WAS DISGUSTING!

The inside is very clean and countryfied in their decor, and the people who work here are very friendly and positive people. When you go there and are seated, you feel like you're a regular. It's hard to choose from the menu, because it's huge. The last time I went, I brought my grandson and we both decided right off that we will have breakfast. We are huge breakfast lovers. We chose what we wanted and ordered, our drinks came out and the food followed fast. Everything was perfect. They have some of the absolute best pancakes ever. I should've ordered the short stack (two pancakes) but I ended up ordering the large one by mistake. No worries, it was still fabulous. Lots of pecans and the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. Grandson ordered the meat lovers omelette and said it was the best one he's ever had. There was an almost unbelievable amount of meat in that omelette. I took a small bite and it was very good. We've had other things in the past, their eggs Benedict are superior as well as their hash browns. Before you go, do not neglect the dessert cabinet by the register. They make a fabulous rainbow cake.

I had already chosen my "carved turkey Reuben sandwich", yum, when I first went at around 12:30-the line was out the door, so went to my appointment, hoping I could get back by the 230 close time. Returned at about 215 yay, and happily walked right up to the counter to order my lunch, when I was told they were out of carved turkey (the way the server explained it sounded like an ingredient in the Reuben was out, not the actual turkey. I asked if the "simple turkey sandwich" had carved turkey, and I was told no, it was deli meat-deli meat is so processed and unhealthy. I was super disappointed. So I opted for a Smashburger after asking how they liked it and she said it was "delicious". Well, it's not a Smashburger. It's a double burger on a nothing special bun. I was going to take the bun off and eat it with a knife and fork, and I was looking for those yummy crispy edges on a authentic Smashburger. They didn't exist. This was a double cheeseburger with very thick patties. I think they were grass fed so kudos to them for that,, but it was incredibly dry sadly, and when I saw that the bun had been toasted with butter, I put it back on and had a couple more bites, but was super disappointed-and trust me nobody loves a great cheeseburger more than I but now I love smash burgers as well!. I also ordered the Orzo cucumber and feta salad (as well as the french fries) on the side and while it was OK, it was nothing special. French fries were just meh. After all the stellar reviews I had I was very surprised that they would make a double cheeseburger and call it a Smash-burger-I wish these restaurants would stop doing that, it's misleading, other restaurants do this too. And for the money I spent, I should've just gone to Shake shack! I DO think it's worth a second chance, and I will say everybody there was very kind on the Service level and it's an adorable, really beautiful spot and vibe ! I strolled around and looked at the merchandise afterwards. So hopefully I'll be back but just super disappointed I didn't have a nice meal and left hungry.

It was all to me so it was hard to select immediately. But, I finally decided on the Strawberry Grilled Cheese sandwich and side selection was the orzo with spinach. I thought the same about the Fig Grilled Sandwich. I think I will have that next time. Or I might try some of the other interesting Grilled Sandwiches. A must stop for both dinner and Southern breakfast enthusiasts…read more On my way home from Charlotte, I used Yelp to find me a classic diner to start my day off right. I choose the Crack of Dawn Diner in Concord. I am so glad I did. Crack of Dawn Diner is the real thing--a local Concord breakfast-and-lunch spot serving traditional Southern fare at reasonable prices. The menu caters to local tastes, the dining room is filled with regulars, and the atmosphere is comfortable rather than trendy. Parking is somewhat limited. The private lot surrounding the restaurant was fully used so I parked in the lot next door that had signs that said private property, but it looked like other patrons were parking there also so I took the chance. As it turns out, it was safe to park there. The entrance is very welcoming, as well as the staff. Amanda was my very efficient and nice waitress. There is great teamwork here, and Amanda was well supported by, I believe, the owner who ran my food out and talked a bit with me. The menu is fascinating. A distinctly North Carolina menu. Several things jumped out: * Breakfast special for $6.59 weekdays * Breakfast plates mostly under $12 * Grits included as a side option * Livermush available * City ham and country ham both offered * Pork chops available for breakfast I ordered the country-fried steak with white gravy (essentially chicken-fried steak), along with two sunny-side-up eggs, perfectly prepared grits, a large buttermilk biscuit, and a delicious diner coffee. The restaurant occupies a stand-alone building with a warm, "come on in and rest a spell" atmosphere. Inside, you'll find counter seating, an open kitchen, and tables throughout the dining room. I chose a seat by the window overlooking the parking area. This was a great breakfast, that was reasonably priced, in a great atmosphere, with very nice people. It stuck to both my mind and ribs all day long. After breakfast, I continued on to downtown Concord and spent some time exploring one of North Carolina's most charming revitalized downtown districts. The breakfast was the perfect start to the morning. Crack of Dawn Diner has earned a spot on my repeat list whenever my travels take me through the Charlotte-Concord area.
