Oh my goodness!!! My wife and I were wondering why we didn't come here more often! We called burgers in here awhile back and we thought they were so good, but often times when we want a burger we've forgotten how good they were! There was only one other person in here when we got here. We had been doing yard work and cleaning up around the house most of the day. We were starving and I asked my wife what she was in the mood for, she Said she just wanted a really good burger. Then she said what about the Cajun and More Cafe, remember their burgers were really good! And I thought, oh yeah, their burgers were really good! But instead of calling in and picking up we decided to come and sit inside. The dining area is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, you'd really be surprised. There is room in the dining area for at least 20 to 25 people or more! When we got here we were going to order at the counter and the young lady working the front told us to just sit wherever we want. They have both booths and tables inside. She came back with menus and took our drink order. I had a Fountain Coke and my wife had a Fountain Diet Coke. After she brought the drinks she was ready to take our order. They had listed under appetizers Bacon Cheese Fries! I asked if they were big enough for two and she said yes! She said some young girls had come in the other day and ordered cheeseburger baskets with fries and ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries and couldn't finish all of their Cheeseburgers!!! So we just ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries and ordered burgers. My wife ordered her self a Cheeseburger with Mayo, cut the lettuce. I ordered a Double Meat Cheeseburger all the way with mayo and jalapenos. She brought the Bacon Cheese Fries out when they were ready and they were so good I was afraid we weren't going to leave any to eat with our Cheeseburgers!!! Now, the Cheeseburgers. These burgers were so good you might think I'm exaggerating, but the patties on these burgers are at least 1/2 inch thick or more! The patties are not only big, but also seasoned just right!! My Double cheeseburger was almost too big to get my mouth around!. It's really hard to describe just how good these burgers are! I would without hesitation put their burgers up against any establishment in this area, I'm not kidding. The inside of Cajun and More had a real nice ambience to it and the service is right on point! Our waitress was very friendly and outgoing, and very helpful. They have a really expansive menu for being a smaller establishment. They have a great selection of appetizers, Burgers and other sandwiches. They have daily lunch specials like Meatloaf with two sides and it changes daily. Chicken Fried Steaks, Chicken and Sausage Gumbo which I've Heard is really good! We were both full and satisfied with our meal! I will say, we will be coming back here more often, I can't wait to try out other things on the menu!!! read more

Best damn bacon cheeseburger you will find around this little town. I swear to you, you want to eat this burger and fries!!!

It's closed drove out there and the sign is gone and building closed. Sad because I wanted to try them!

Quiet, friendly, clean, & tasty. This is a nice little getaway place to enjoy either alone or with friends and family. They have a really nice menu with enough diversity to keep everyone at your table well satisfied. It's that nice mom & pop place that everyone is looking to patronize and support. This is a very good hidden gem in Buna. Located right across from Fausto's Chicken on the right side of the main road heading north. It's a very small place, but they are open in the dining room. You walk up and place your order and pay right there. She will make your drink and If you are dining in, the order taker will tell you to have a seat and she will bring it out to you. There is a super clean dining area, but it's small. The bathrooms are spacious and very clean as well. They have daily specials and very reasonable prices. I recommend the meatloaf dinner. It comes with a couple hot, fresh slabs of meatloaf and 3 vegetables, roll or cornbread and a piece of cake! You can't beat the deal. It was $7.99 plus drink. I mean it's less than $10 to fill you up. And the drink refills are free. If you prefer to take it to go, you can call ahead and drive through. Even if you just show up and order at the window, there won't be a long wait. If you have a big order though, I would call ahead. Just common courtesy. Happy eating!! read more

I finally got a chance to eat here, when I was going through town on a weekday. I'm glad that I gave them a shot. I was amazed at the size of the menu. So many things to choose from. Salads with various meat add-ins, including fried or grilled shrimp, grilled or fried chicken, and fish. You guessed it, grilled or fried. Various sandwiches and burgers. They have daily specials. I know on Tuesday, it's Mexican cornbread (a little spicy) with ground meat cooked in it. Very tasty. It comes with pinto beans with generous pieces of sausage cooked in it. Insider tip: the cornbread gets spicier and even more tasty if you can save it for a couple of days. The special on Friday is shrimp etouffee and shrimp gumbo. Both are delicious. A little spice in the etouffee. The roux in the gumbo is dark and thick. No tiny shrimp. Nice, two bites, medium to large shrimp, and a generous number in each of the dishes. One day is chicken and dumplings (Thursday?). Thick dumplings. Good chicken fried steak. There's also meatloaf and chicken fried chicken. There's something for everyone! I very dern well cannot even remember what I asked for, but I do remember specifying for beans and rice only, and somehow ended up with them in gumbo form. Usually I wouldn't say anything, as I didn't, for I am not picky, but when I'm under the impression I simply asked for 'beans' and 'rice', I didn't wanna be rude and cause confusion do the strict nature of my diet - I cannot eat dairy due to lactose intolerance, nor do I eat meat of any kinds under any circumstances, but being I came here with my parents, I chose to try to find something I'd usually enjoy anywhere else without confusion. This was back in mid November of this year, but what little I did try of the gumbo, it tasted just as you'd expect it to, but with that touch homecooked "grandma's cooking". So I can leave an honestly good opinion since it didn't suck, I was just already having an upsetting day before that day, but I know I'll be back if ever I'm with my family, though I don't eat out much anymore. I adore supporting local businesses who give back to their communities and provide additional wonderful service just like Caillier's does that big cities are most certainly incapable of matching, and that's absolutely why they recieve a five star from me, plus I am from Buna, so I know a wonderfully placed, owned, and operated business when it's in such familiar grounds to its loyal locals! Now it is a bit tiny, though it keeps the staff better organized and capable of giving southern hospitalities to regulars and out-of-towners who may be dropping by! They do have a pretty large menu, with lots of foods you may be cooking all year round, so I definitely suggest eating here! Plus the outer-aesthetic is simply too-cute!
