Hojicha has a roasty nutty flavor and is hard to do right because it can taste burnt or doesn't have that nutty flavor and be bland. I admit that I am be picky about my hojicha but this place literally tasted like dirt charcoal. The color was also black and not the warm brown color it usually is.
