(FYI - they are going to open a Goomo tea shop on the corner in the same space!) D'ange has so many fun flavors of buns. I really liked the taro with mochi one. The only thing about the buns is that the fillings tend to be only on one side of the bun, so there are been times as I'm biting into the bun, I'm not getting any filling until the last couple bites. They even sell cookies and all different flavors of toast that would make some yummy brick toast desserts! And if you need a whole cake, they have them in the case ready to go too! The buns I got were great, as were the Portuguese egg tarts. They even sold Chinese tamales at my last visit, so I picked one up too. I don't know many places that sell these, and I used to eat them all the time when my grandma made them years ago, but now that no one in my family knows how to make them, it's a special treat if I can find it. They have ones with meat (with or without peanuts), and some with just the mung bean. They must be really know for this because 2 other parties ahead of me were buying tons of the tamales!

TGTG is an app that allows businesses to sell their leftover or flawed goods for a discounted price in a bundle of their choice. So you don't know what you get, BUT it reduces food waste (#sustainability) while being easier on your wallet. You pay a price they name and they give you the value they listed. The owner (I presume) handed us a prepackaged brown bag the moment we got there. It wasn't busy at all so the whole transaction was under 5 minutes. It's a mom & pop Asian bakery that's spacious and warm. Our surprise bag contained 7 mini breads: black sesame mochi, red sesame mochi, taro bun with filling, hot dog cheese bread, buo luo bao, ham + cheese bun, and another bread I couldn't quite identify. This is $21 value for $6.99 is what we paid. After heating them up, they tasted almost like fresh so we can't complain. However, I would say these days $3 would get you bigger buns at other similar bakeries, but their fillings were very generous, so it's hard to say. Parking has spots designated to the bakery so look out for the signs.

The hades bread was the only kinda dry bread and was filled with bittersweet chocolate and had a thin sweet Oreo crust on the bottom like a cheesecake would. The pork floss bread had a swirl of sweet savory pork floss and was topped with nutty crunchy sesame seeds. The banana cream bread was filled with like this cheesecake tasting light cream and had some real bananas inside too. The garlic bread was really good, soft, and had a streak of yummy, savory, garlicy, cheesy goodness. They even had a cilantro pork floss cake?! Wasn't getting any cilantro flaves but the cake was nicely spongy, light, vanillay, and had a swirl of pork floss that actually worked with it. There are a variety of items that she sells - Taiwanese baked items, French and Asian fusion desserts and the prices are affordable. She's located in the SG area, but also can deliver in the nearby vicinity if you order more than $50 (but double check with her on that). My favorite item hands down is the French blueberry almond tart ($3.50 each). Love the crust - there's a definite bite, but it crumbles in your mouth and tastes so good! And the hit of almond as you break into the center - so rich and delicious, especially with the fresh gigantic blueberries on top! I've eaten 2 of these and it's been hard to not eat it all in one setting. I haven't tried the fresh fruit custard tart, but I've shared it with some friends who had really good things to say about it. The caramel rose apple tart is another hit - if you like caramel and apple, you'll really love this. Not too sweet due to the tartness from the apples, but with the drizzle of caramel while eaten with the crust - perfect combination for that enticing bite. And don't forget macarons (6 for $10)! I've tried all the flavors and I think I liked the lemon ones the most because of the freshness and tanginess that I got from the macaron. I shared some of these treats with my grandma and she ended up really enjoying them because they weren't too sweet. Fresh berry tart, the fruits on top were so fresh and the pudding (whatever it's called) is so creamy. French Blueberry Almond tart another yum with fresh blueberries. The apple flower tart blew me away the apples were tangy but the caramel balances it out. Every item was not too sweet and the cookie crust on all the desserts was my fave. I also ordered the sesame scallion shaobing and they were fresh out of the oven and still warm! Everything is made and baked fresh to order!
