Mini cookie packs + cookie box. The BEST cookies!
    Shirly C.

By far one of BEST COOKIES I've had. I started ordering her cookies back in 2020 when she posted on the FB group SGV eats. First order was actually the mini mixed bags for coworkers as their Xmas gift. Packing was on point. Trust me~they look great and taste even better. From then on, I've tried several other cookie shops and they don't even come close in comparison. I also never got around to reviewing because the baking is done in a residential place and I didn't want her address to be all over the internet, and I'm lazy....but since this page is up now...here I am. lol Her cookies are so awesome because they're thin, soft and chewy. They legit stay chewy for days! None of the hard, crumbly cotton mouth stuff. They're also not super sweet to where your teeth itch. Take one bite, you'll be reaching for more. You technically can't go wrong with any flavor but IMO the best ones are: UBE w/ TOFFEE, CHOCO CHIP, RED VELVET, MATCHA & WHITE CHOCO. Another thing to note is that shes very flexible with mixing and matching flavors and she even does deliveries within a 10 mile radius I think. Definitely TRY THEM OUT!!!~give em out as gift packs/boxes.

This is an awesome Asian owned business that are serving up flavors from my childhood. I literally cannot pick a favorite -- they're all so delicious. Top three include the ube cookie, pandan cookie, and the cornflake ube brownie (the name escapes me). Recently, I've ran into her business at Dash Coffee bar in Pasadena and AK coffee inside the Blossom Market Hall. If you run into her cookies somewhere, buy them! You'll be supporting a small business and trying out some delicious sweet treats!

Tried some when AK Roast had them. I got one of each and they were honestly pretty good. My favorite was the espresso one.

Cookies Chaos I am not a cookie person but I LOVE their cookies! The texture and the sweetness are just perfect . Not too overly sweet. I recently purchased about 40 something box of cookies for school staff (teacher appreciation week) friends and family. Lots of them told me how much they love the cookies and I love to see the smiles on their faces. They are located in South Pasadena and you can pick up at their location. Or if your purchase is over $36 and you are 10 miles within S Pasadena and the deliver is free. New flavor expresso toffee cookie is their new flavor and it's soooooo good! Give them a try, you are not gonna disappointed.

O.M.G! Let me tell you about cookie chaos!!!!!! Hands down the BEST COOKIES I have ever eaten. I first tasted their cookie at Dash Coffee and was super intrigued when I saw the flavors. They had ube white choc chip, mango pandan, red velvet, & matcha at the time. Of course I had to try one of each flavor. They are so moist, and so freaking delicious. I don't know how she does it but it is amazing!!!! My ultimate fave has to be the mango pandan. It's pandan flavored cookie with dried mango bits. Don't get me wrong I LOVE THEM ALL, but this is my ultimate fave. They also have the most addicting brownie called ube cornflake caramel brownie and man oh man! Literal piece of HEAVEN in every bite. I have gifted their cookies and brownie to friends and they all have the same response as me when I first tasted them. Drool! You can find their delicious products in certain stores but they also deliver within a certain range I think. They are based in Pasadena so lucky me! Honestly do not sleep on these delicious desserts! Also I don't know how but it could be days and days and the cookie doesn't lose its integrity- they stay moist and soft and chewy! Highly recommend their product! Go try it for yourself if you don't believe me. ;p

Insanely delicious asian flavored baked goods. The cookies were chewy and moist, and the Ube brownies are just ridiculously delicious and unique. All this from a local, home-grown, woman-owned operation makes these treats feel like you're eating something out of your mom's oven. Highly recommend!

I discovered Cookie Chaos through a Facebook page and I placed my first order back in 2020. These cookies are SO good! I love how there are so many Asian inspired flavors and classic flavors to choose from. I'm obsessed with all of their chunky cookies. The texture is perfect. I love the Ube flavors too! They have a local delivery or pick up option so that's super convenient. I like to order these for group gatherings and my friends always rave about these. Patricia is my go to cookie person!

The hours are a bit limited, but I managed to make it in time to grab some pre-made baked goods to go. I got a bag of coconut macaroons, bag of several chocolate chip cookies, 2 red velvet cookies, a baked dog cookie biscuit, and a cute Keroppi sugar cookie. Most of these ended up being gifts, but I did enjoy one of the red velvet cookies and for an already sweet flavor profile with white chocolate chips in it, I was already fearing the worse, but went perfect with a glass of milk. The edges were nicely crisped by the baking too. Delicious. Love that they had a stock of cute, pre-decorated cookies available as well (some Sanrio characters, animals, etc.) They also list all the ingredients used in each of the baked goods that they have prepackaged, which is nice. It's also a cafe where you can order drinks, as well as a place you can order cakes custom order or what they have behind the glass already. There's both seating inside and outside.

It's a small shop with a few tables, but luckily, we came at a time when it wasn't too crowded. We ordered the ube and matcha swirl as well as a taiyaki with cookie butter. The cashier was quick and friendly. Total came out to $9 which is pricey in my opinion, but I thought the taste would make up for it. Ube and matcha swirl: Honestly, the ice cream was just okay. I definitely could taste the ube flavor, but the matcha flavor was weak. Additionally, the ice cream was not creamy. It was slightly icey. Somisomi's ice cream is much creamier, so I was disappointed with With Love's quality. Taiyaki with cookie butter: I really liked their taiyaki! It was crispy and slightly sweet. The cookie butter was great, but I just wish there was more filling. I do think their taiyaki is better than Somisomi's! Overall, With Love was a nice place to try for the first time, but I don't think I'll be back. I still prefer Somisomi, especially since they are actually cheaper than With Love with better quality.

Its a small shop on Main in Alhambra and there's a lot in the back as well as street parking. It's a brightly lit, pick up and go type place though there are a couple tables out front. The baked goods look really cute and enticing and I ended up going for a mystery box since I wasn't after a specific cake and the mystery aspect seemed appealing. I also got 6 egg tarts, which were a great price at $1 each. The baked goods/sweets looked better than they tasted flr me. The egg tarts had a texture that was a bit off putting for myself, it was more of a steamed egg texture than a silky custardy filling. Flavorwise, they were ok though. The mystery box was fun and I got an apple cake, peach cake, and a panda cake. Now the mystery box is day old cakes so keeping that in mind, they are like cream based "cakes" and are essentially cream covered gels/jellies of some sort. The flavor and textures were good, very light cream with strong fruit flavors (the panda was also a peach flavor, I think). As a set of the mystery box price, I think the cakes are fun to try but I wouldn't, personally, pay those prices for essentially shaped cream. I'm glad I tried a new spot but ultimately don't think it was super impressive and found most of their desserts and baked items to be average, or a little less so as for the egg tarts.

It's also filled with a light, soft cream. DELICIOUS! I arrived at Old Ferry Donut (San Gabriel) on a Wednesday (around 3:42PM). Parking is simple. There's a competitive customer parking lot. And there's a city public parking lot about a two minute walk away. Staff is very friendly, professional, and welcoming. Staff maintained a bright smile throughout my visit. Staff immediately helped me. Customers can order at the self-service kiosk or counter; however, the kiosk felt very dated & the prices on the kiosk felt less transparent. I recommend just ordering at the counter. There's no penalty for using card at this donut establishment. As mentioned, I love the Tiramisu Donut ($4.95). It's not too sweet; rather, it all felt balanced. However, this is a VERY messy donut; I recommend eating this donut with a fork and knife. The powder fall everywhere, and your clothes can quickly get stained with chocolate powder. Still, it's a delicious pastry. On ambiance, Old Ferry Donut (San Gabriel) is comfortable. This business is more reminiscent of a cafe than a typical donut shop. There's customer internet with password; details on the counter. There's a gender neutral restroom. And there's an electrical outlet & outlet adaptor for devices. The location is fairly small; there's one interior table and one small counter. Fortunately, this place felt airy and well-ventilated.
