Taste of Georgia tasting with parings of cheese & chocolate. Generous pours so you can decide what bottle/glass you want when you're done!

Made a long Valentine's weekend and in hindsight, this was our last stop of the three-day excursion, and next time, it will be the first! We're living temporarily in the Atlanta area so we're doing everything we can to explore this beautiful part of the country (and the wine). We were running a little late on Sunday so unfortunately, we arrived just as the music was wrapping up and didn't have as much time as we'd have liked to fully explore Carin and all it had to offer. However! What we were able to experience was great and worthy of a return trip to continue our experience. Brent and his staff provide excellent personalized service in a warm and welcoming environment. We shared a 'Taste of Georgia' tasting that is skillfully paired with cheeses and chocolate for each estate wine. That is one thing we appreciated, all the wines we had were estate wines. Much of what we've found in our wine travels have been imported grapes or wine from the west coast. C'mon . . . show me Georgia! In addition to the tasting, we did enjoy the BBQ Slider Duo and the Chicken Salad Croissant. Even if you don't get any wine; you must, I repeat must, get either of those items. They were absolutely delicious and worthy of the trip themselves! We need another visit with more time to really explore the wine a bit more, but based solely on the personalized and engaging service we can't wait for a return trip come spring/summer!

This north Georgia winery experience is all about wine for happy trails! THE premier boutique winery, you'll enjoyed a unique tasting experience with a relaxed, spacious tasting room filled with wines made by cairn in Washington state, but this year, they will have their first crop grown right there in their vineyard! Outside, they have a beautiful wrap around porch with seating, outdoor fire pits and live music on select days! You can opt for a wine tasting to find your favorite like the ones that John and I did. Our first tasting was The Bucking Broncos includes crisp Sauvignon Blanc paired with aged cheddar, floral Mountain Laurel Rose (second favorite), tasty Weeping Willow White, and my favorite the Springer Mountain blend with pepper jack cheese. Our second tasting was CVW Reserve Tasting includes Burnt Mountain Red reserve, 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2022 Malbec, and Panther Creek Red blend. All paired with aged cheese and chocolate. We had our wine tasting on our exclusive VIP tour, exploring the vineyard, the barrel room, and behind the scenes with a one-on-one tasting with the tasting room manager in their VIP room. Beyond the tours and tasting, they also have wine by the glass and an array of snacks, like their amazing charcuterie board! It includes Pepper jelly, an array of cheese, olives, a mix of meats, crackers, and grapes. As for activities, they have live music, sip and paints, wine and cheese, and food truck Fridays to name a few of them.

This is our 3rd time here and all have been awesome. Great owner and host (same guy!). Friendly and helpful. The place is very inviting, bright and open. Indoor and outdoor seating with fire pits outside. The wines and food are terrific. This time I had the Blue Label 58 Reserve--very nice. And the Panther Creek Bourbon Barrel--very, very good!

Enjoyed our time here today. This place is located a bit off of the beaten path but their wine and chill atmosphere is worth tracking down. They will be celebrating their one year anniversary next week. We were kindly greeted immediately upon walking in the door. Staff was very welcoming and informative. The building is very tastefully constructed, and is warm and inviting. We had a bottle of their Pinot Noir roséand it was light, refreshing yet had a wonderful mineral essence to it. They also serve light bites as well as beer. Had live music when we visited.

I brought my clients here while we were on a wellness retreat and I'm am so glad we visited! The winery is amazing and beautiful and setup so great. We met Debbie, one of the owners, and she really made us feel welcome. The wine and snacks were fantastic and we could've stayed all day!

    Olive treating us like family.

We visited friends in GA and they took us here. It was the first visit for us all and we had the perfect time. Live music was inside, we sat outside and it was perfect to listen yet be able to have conversation. The service was incredible, meeting the owner, tasting room manager and our server, Jess. Jess was on point, knowledgeable and very kind. We do hope to visit again.

Very organized tasting with a bite of cheese and pretzel depending if you got sweet or dry.

We came for the Georgia wine highway. Johnny was great, explaining what we will be tasting. It's a great personal touch. The tasting was part of the highway that included ~40 wineries. The wife got dry and I got sweet. Great wines and one of the best wineries I've seen here in North Georgia. Reservations needed and save some time to chill at this great location.

Such a lovely winery! Friendly staff and fantastic wines!

From the moment we arrived, the staff was outstanding, especially Kelly. She was incredibly patient, took the time to explain the menu and dishes, and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. We're in town for another week, and we'll definitely be stopping by again before we leave. The food was exceptional, everything we ordered was delicious, and there wasn't a single dish that disappointed. The drinks were also fantastic and very reasonably priced, especially compared to what we're used to back home in Miami. We travel to Atlanta frequently, and this restaurant has officially earned a spot on our "must-visit" list. Highly recommended!

The covered patio is beautiful and much quieter than the rest of the restaurant. This is a fusion spot with mostly Spanish and Latin American influences. The food isn't the best you've ever had, but it's decent and the restaurant's neighborhood is cute and fun. It's a great place to hang out for the day, and Bar.bacoa is a good choice if you have 3 people or less in your party. The group size is about maximizing the value you get here. The portion sizes are small for tapas. The paella was $24 but would be hard-pressed to feed just two people. The ham and cheese empanadas were $12 and came with two empanadas. These rates aren't bad for tapas if your group is small, but any group larger than 3 is going to start losing on the value-to-price ratio. When it comes to the tacos, they're $6 each for tacos that are not new or outstanding, so I would lean on the tapas instead.
