Ample space for seating inside or out, service is quick and friendly. 5 stars! For food we wanted to try the Deviled Eggs. Wasn't quite our cup of tea but the Portofino Bowls definitely made up for it! Our server sold it to us when describing it and advising it was going away for the season. What a hidden gem decor was nice and building and bathrooms really clean, we had a group of 9 for early dinner we tried all of the appetizers. A couple different beverages and a bunch of the entrees cesaer salad wings chicken sandwich couple of pizzas. All of the food was phenomenal our server took great care of us made great recommendations and was super attentive. I will definitely be back to try other entrees and save room for dessert next time! On a Saturday night around 8:00, we did experience about a 30 minute wait, but there was space to wait outside. Our server, Liz, was top notch. Came here on a Friday night in a party of six. We didn't have to wait very long to get seated. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly. As appetizers, we ordered a pretzel and deviled eggs. The pretzel was good but I didn't care for the deviled eggs. The rest of the party liked them. My wife ordered the burger and I ordered the Banger sandwich. Both were solid choices. In hindsight, I would have ordered a side of mayonnaise for the Banger sandwich (it was a bit dry) and my wife would have asked to substitute real cheese for the beer cheese on her burger. I've been to Two Birds many times and have tried a range of entrees and drink on the menu, from burgers and pizza to popcorn and schnitzel. The menu has something for everyone starting with shareable appetizers to filling entrees. Some of my faves are ANY of the pizzas (which was surprising but they have been excellent-try the mushroom!), popcorn (it's such a fun, addictive snack especially when it's fresh because it comes out warm!), and the Brussel sprouts with the chili crunch on top. The burgers are flavorful, fries delicious (ask for their tangy fry sauce), and the fried chicken sandwich was packed with flavor (yes, you can request grilled chicken if you prefer). The only thing I've had so far that wasn't a hit was the pork schnitzel (lacked flavor and the texture was strange) and I won't order it again. The bar can make pretty much any drink you're craving, but always has a menu full of options if you don't know where to start. The ambiance is casual but during the holidays dressing up is fun and appropriate for the holiday decor they add to enhance the mood. Customer service from the hostesses, wait staff and bartenders has always been above average although you may have to wait for your check a minute if it's busy. Prices are reasonable and you feel like you got your money's worth. If you live close and don't like to drive too far for a good meal, this is a great place to put on your list. Had dinner here Friday night. Place was busy but got a table in about 30 mins. The atmosphere was decorated in a Harry Potter theme which was pretty cool. Got the burger and fries which were good. My wife and I haven't been out in a while and treated our selfs to a night out while visiting family in the area. We found this place on the route back and stopped in and I'm glad we did. We started with the appetizer listed in the pictures. It was very good with lots of flavor. Definitely needed after all of the holiday food we had consumed. My wife then ordered the Gourds Gone Wild pizza. It wasn't exactly what she wanted but she said that it wasn't bad either; she just couldn't get past the pizza stove that she could see from our table. I had the Dirty Bird sandwich and it was awesome and worth the calories. We were surprised at how busy the place was, but it was the holidays and I think there were some parties going on. Good place for a holiday party for sure. They gave us a table right away, which was a pleasant surprise; I believe that someone canceled a table for two and they snuck us in. Two birds is one of my favorite Marietta restaurants and bar. Let's be real, I usually sit at the bar because I'm meeting a friend after work. I love the seasonal drink menu. Everyone who works here is very friendly. There's bar seating, a room behind the bar with big tables, and lots of searing on the other side of the main restaurant. I order a different cocktail I think almost every time I am here. I've been here a handful of times and have enjoyed every single one. I hear they have really good trivia on Tuesday nights, but since I live in town, I haven't made it out for one. The night I came in for this review I had their version of the espresso martini, and my friend had their winter version of I think maybe a gimlet and they were both very tasty. This was a fantastic find in a cute little square in Marietta, Georgia. The restaurant was a wide open concept so we were able to get a pretty sizable table for our group without feeling crammed. Our waitress was incredibly intentive and helpful. She even created two checks per person so that we could separate our alcohol from our food. I had two Hazy IPA local beers (wish I could remember which ones because they were great!) and a Spring Harvest salad with chicken. The salad was average, but that was my fault for getting a salad instead of something more interesting. Definitely recommend this place for a casual night out. read more

We were in Marietta over the Thanksgiving holidays, and we came here to meet friends for that "get the hell away from the family for a few hours drink." I'm glad we did, because I had a really good time here and will be happy to come back again in the future. First of all, the parking situation is one of the better ones in downtown Marietta. The public lot is right down the street, so getting a spot is really easy. They have a pretty nice range of cocktails and beers, the staff is pretty on the spot as well. As far as the clientele, everyone is a little upscale, making this a nice place to take a girl on a date. Their appetizers are very good and well portioned and we also had multiple pizzas (12 inch pizzas) that were pretty creative as well. The price point per couple with apps, pizzas and multiple drinks ran about 80-100 bucks a couple, which wasn't bad. I recommend this place 100% and would be here all the time if we still lived in Cobb. read more

A fun gastropub with (at least currently) a Harry Poetter theme going on which is fun, too. I came here because I was late getting into Marietta after the Atlanta United vs Montreal soccer match and not too many places on a Wednesday night were still open for dinner--but Two Birds was. The food selection is not vast, but seemed to have enough tried and true options (burgers, pizzas, salads) to please most everyone. I had a salad with grilled chicken added and it was quite good--not fancy, not especially innovative, pretty much exactly as expected but quality ingredients and came out quickly. I didn't try any beer or other drinks, just water, so can't speak to that but good service, good, food, and cool place. read more

I've been a patron of Two Birds since moving to Cobb and it's a perfect neighborhood tap house!! All the food is always excellent, and the service is great too! I don't drink beer by my bf said he really enjoyed their options on tap. The only issue is that it's in the Square so be prepared to pay for or search for parking :( To start we had hot Buffalo wings and deviled eggs. I always get the eggs and they never disappoint!! The Buffalo wings were fried hard and had a great sauce, perfect for my taste!! For dinner we both got the burger and fries and they were DELICIOUS! The fries were a tad salty but that's never happened before so I think it might've been a fluke. This is a wonderful family friendly watering hole and you should definitely give them a shot! My friends and I had a great time at Two Birds Taphouse, a popular bar and restaurant near Marietta Square. This place has been well-liked by my coworkers ever since Two Birds opened for business in July 2016. My friends and I visited on a Friday night and there was a private event going on in one half of the space. The entire place was packed out. The four of us sat at what looked like one of several makeshift tables that "extended" from the bar. The place was so busy with the private event and regular customers that I believe the tables at the bar weren't the norm. Our table was small for four people and we sat on barstools which weren't the most comfortable. On the bright side, we were right next to the bar so we could get the bartenders' attentions easily. And we had great views of both the TVs at the bar and the projection screen in the back, to watch sports. The night of our visit, this place was more like a restaurant than a bar with a lot more sit-down dining going on than hanging out and drinking, though it evolved into the latter as the night wore on. This was true of the back space, with its communal picnic tables and standing areas. Two Birds itself is located in an old brick building. The storefront is fairly nondescript and the sign up top isn't the easiest to read because it blends in with the building. Free street parking is available in the immediate area as well as on the Square itself. However, this part of Marietta has grown increasingly busy in recent years and parking has become more difficult to find. There are a few pay lots nearby. The two closest lots are right at the intersection of Powder Springs St SW and Waverly Way. There was an event going on during our visit, so we each paid a flat $10 event rate to park. The restaurant and bar space looks great. It's one of those "historic" repurposed buildings with exposed wooden beams, ductwork, and brick walls. I love the numerous light fixtures above the bar as well as the neon red Two Birds sign in the back. The place was bustling and had a fun, casual vibe. This is a gastropub and the kitchen serves what I'd describe as "elevated" pub grub + wood-fired pizzas. The kitchen stays open until 10pm. There were eight pizzas on the menu, from a Margherita Classic ($12) to a Prosciutto - Burrata ($16). Below is what we had. Outside of salads, bowls, and apps like Deviled Eggs ($6) and Calamari Fritto Misto ($13), it should give you a general idea of what else Two Birds has to offer food-wise. Snack & Share * Charcuterie Board ($20) - Benton's 18-month aged country ham, chef's choice of cured meat, house pimento cheese, local artisan cheeses, pickled okra, pickled green beans, strawberry jam, and crostini Mains * Wings ($14 per order) - eight flash-fried Springer Mountain Farms wings tossed in house sauce (choice of spicy teriyaki, hot buffalo, BBQ), carrots, celery, and ranch or blue cheese dressing * The Burger ($15 each) - certified Angus beef (pink or done), melted brie, bacon, fig jam, arugula, balsamic red onions, brioche bun, and side of fries Dessert * Ricotta Donut Holes ($8) - whiskey bourbon gelato, dark chocolate/Milk Stout Nitro ganache, and dulce de leche The couple next to us was munching on a Charcuterie Board when we sat down. It looked too good not to get. A food runner dropped the board off at our table with no explanation of what was on the board aside from what was written on the menu. I don't think we cared at the time and it's not a big deal to me, but it is nice when staff explains the different types of meat and cheeses on a cheese and charcuterie board. I found everything on the board to be delicious, especially the meats and pickled veggies. In addition to strawberry jam, our board also included a tasty, runny apricot spread. I recommend the Charcuterie Board. It's great for sharing. We got a couple orders of the wings in two different flavors. I didn't try any, but my tablemates did and they finished all 16 of them, so they must've been not bad. The portions on the carrots and celery that came with were sparse. The wings were served in small skillets on Two-Birds-branded paper-lined trays. We also got a couple orders of The Burger. I had mine cooked and served "pink," which it was. It was good. It was wetter and soggier than I would've liked and it also made my hands sticky (must've been the fig jam). Overall though, I enjoyed it. It was flavorful and satisfying, and also a bit heavy. The included fries were excellent. They looked fresh-cut and salted and were smooth, thin, and McDonald's-sized. You can order the fries separately with smoked aioli ($5) and smothered in either warm pimento or beer cheese ($9). The Ricotta Donut Holes were very good. If you're looking for something sweet, it's hard to go wrong with them. Also have to mention we got a variety of cocktails and beer. I had an old fashioned (not on menu) and it was delightful. We selected Two Birds for my husband's birthday dinner on Friday, June 24th. To be honest, we haven't visited much since I had to start eating gluten free in the fall because not being able to eat my favorite pizza is just cruel. We popped in late on May 13th then dined for dinner on May 26th, both were underwhelming. The bartenders on May 13th were overwhelmed and we didn't get much attention while sitting right at the bar. On May 26th our party of 7 was sat at the back of the bar room, while our server was great with drinks she was less than stellar with the rest of our dining experience. We arrived later than I would have preferred on June 26th, we were quoted 60-90mins for a table. The bartenders gave decent recommendations but kept trying to rush us away, even though we kept ordering drinks while waiting for our table. The timeframe quoted for a table was accurate. Our server brought waters to the table without a word then disappeared. He eventually returned and we ordered. My husband was thrilled his favorite Street Corn Named Desire was seasonally back on the menu. Half our order came out just fine. My husband's favorite was quite different - the recipe was recreated. The pizza used to be a beautiful 3D masterpiece with shaved corn, manchengo cheese, cilantro and crunchy flour tortilla strips. The pizza my husband was served was a flat basic looking pizza with heavy drizzle, we couldn't even see any corn. He was also surprised to find caramelized onions have been added to the recipe (he hates onions). When we discussed the changes with the server he was clueless and blamed supply chain issues, and honestly he flat out didn't care. I'm sure staffing since covid has been difficult.
