We come for lunch around 2pm on a Saturday and it was not full. They do have Middleastern music in the background but a nice hearing level which doesn't interrupt conversation. Simple restaurant but minimalist tastefully decorated. As soon as we came in we were greeted, walked to our table and Tea and Water was brought to our table. This restaurant is from Iran so they had typical dishes from that country. A lot of them have a base of yogurt, so it is not Vegan friendly, except for salads and the Veggie Kabob. We ordered a Chicken Kabob and Slamon Kabob. Both dishes came with rice and a small salad. Everything was very tasty and portions were reasonable. Chicken was so soft you didn't need a knife to cut it. Salmon melted in your mouth. Food was super fresh. They do take their time cooking it at the spot. Also, their spicy garlic sauce was just hot sauce. The stuffed grape leaf was not fresh and was not right. The salads, falafel, and even rice are good. But would not make another visit.

The chicken tika masala puts every other version I've had to shame, rich with visible herbs. The rice is fluffy, the meats are well seasoned. I love the lamb! The owners check on diners and are happy to explain dishes. The walls are adorned with beautiful fabric tapestries and the interior has a cozy feel. Most of the dishes they make are inherently gluten-free and they are thoughtful about labeling.

The rice bowl tasted like Taiwanese-style fried chicken rice with a lot of added spiciness. Spiciness alone does not make something Jamaican jerk chicken. Since I didn't get what I ordered...I have to give a relatively low score. My recommendation is to stick with the Western-style dishes here and avoid anything that seems "exotic".

First, the couscous is not the usual couscous we've all had. This is Lebanese couscous, which is so different as to be unrecognizable as "couscous". It is so very good, I could have a whole meal of that and be happy. I generally prefer baked falafels, but this fried one was great; crispy on the outside, and soft and green on the inside. I've avoided dolma in the past, as I had it once years ago and it was terrible. But this dolma was good enough for me to stop avoiding it in the future. People were very nice, and it took less than 10 minutes for my order to be ready. It's a grocery store with a deep selection of many items, such as spices, pastas, canned fish, .... (see photos). I enjoyed this enough, I came back again about a week later for another Sampler Plate meal. My only slight peeves are, I wish there were a bit more to the salad (which isn't even listed as one of the sampler items, so a bit hard to complain!), and that the pita had some whole grains in it (I find white wheat boring).
