Khalid and his staff go above and beyond for their customers and have always treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. They always greet me by name. I've never had that level of service or experience at any chain pharmacy. They are fast, efficient, and will even deliver if you can't make it in to pickup your prescription. I switched to this pharmacy after getting fed up with the United Healthcare online pharmacy, even though I had smaller co-pays when by ordering 3 months at a time through them. Cajon pharmacy has extremely friendly service, I have been offered complimentary water more than once. They knew me by name within a few visits. Real people call you when you have a script ready. They auto-refill regularly. On occasion they've had to order in a medication they didn't have in stock and they seem to get it more quickly than CVS has ever been able to. Their customer service is the way it was before the big drug store giants categorized us into groups and numbers and hired pharmacists who were made to perform in quantity, rather than quality. They have all the same drugs, at great prices. If you're on your lunch hour, you won't have to miss your meal because you stood in line for 1/2 hour. OMG, my husband went to pick up my prescription. The guy in front of him was paying cash. Khalid filled a couple prescriptions, but told him that the 3rd was too expensive, and he couldn't get a reasonable price on it. He previously worked for a large pharmacy. He transferred the prescription to that pharmacy, where the patient could get it cheaper. My husband floored. We don't do business anywhere else. I had the best experience with Cajon Pharmacy and highly recommend! Khalid is by far the BEST pharmacist, with the most pleasant demeanor, of any pharmacist I've ever talked to. I was calling from TX trying to help my in-laws manage prescriptions, and he could not have been more helpful. What we were needing was a bit complex to figure out with insurance and we had to exchange no less than 6 phone calls within just a couple of hours. He was never impatient, and always called back when he said he would, and answered my calls almost immediately. And he seemed to genuinely care about making sure that we were getting the best price possible. The insurance card we had was out of date, but he did not hesitate to look up the information, and once found, he provided me with the correct info so I'd have it for next time needed! I can't imagine that type of customer service from the corporate pharmacists that are on every corner. Even though I'm far away in TX, if I will be recommending this pharmacy to friends and family, because mail-order is available as well as local pick-up. My family and I were sick for a week, and in and out of urgent care with prescriptions needing filled. I went to Cajon Pharmacy three (or more) days in a row and never waited more than 10 minutes for a prescription to be filled. I don't know the staff members names but I'm assuming it was Khalid who helped me most days, he treated me with respect and thanked me numerous times for my business. So friendly, and they really go out of their way to get your prescriptions to you when you need them. They always use coupons to lower the prices when available.
