Crab legs, crawfish, muscles and shrimp with corn and potatoes
Jordan D.

First time having Cajun boil in MN. I used to frequent these types of establishments in California weekly. The service was good. The sizing for the seafood is superb. The crayfish are large, the head on shrimp add a great size and the sauce was delicious. I had the house mixed sauce which is a combo of all the options. It was a great eating experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining area is small with people coming in and out getting take out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Next time I come by I'm going to try some of the fried food. 3-4 people who came in while I was there all ordered fried food to go. So next time!

I got the combo with potato corn shrimp and sausage, and mussels with their house mix and it was sooo good. So much garlic and great flavor, everything was also well cooked and flavors went so well together. The fries were also crispy and hot! Definitely recommend checking Cajun deli out.

Peeled shrimp, boiled eggs, Texas toast. The potato and corn come with the shrimp.

My favorite local restaurant because the food is delicious, reasonably priced, and I always have leftovers. I used to order just the garlic shrimp and rice but now gravitate to the shrimp boil. Medium spice. The flavor is enjoyably savory. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You never know what you're going to encounter when you walk in the door. All the tables could be full or none of the tables. No matter what time of day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've taken friends there to introduce them and they sneak back within the week with others to get more. The staff is both responsive and anticipatory. Love each of my visits.

Its decor is your typical Chinese fast food restaurant. It has a limited Cajun style food menu. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is ok, having grownup in Louisiana it is hard to have food called Cajun just because you use Cajun spices.

Today I discovered crab...and a little bit more about myself. The flavors were immaculate. Service was great, he helped us pick out the best possible platter. The walls were decorated with cute sea creatures. 100/10 recommended if you're looking for a delicious seafood meal!

Absolutely exceeded my expectations for lunch today! Perfectly priced, amazing quality food. Super impressive menu. Service was great! Everything I ordered was incredible and came super fast, I will definitely be back! It's a pretty small dining area with a few extra tables outside, comfy and chill, lots of free & easy parking in the lot There's nothing else like this place around Shakopee!

I went here for some seafood on my birthday and was not disappointed. The location was easy to find and the inside was really nice. The service was really good...and friendly. I got the fried shrimp (so good) and a cluster of crabs at a spice 3 level. Spice level was perfect. It was spicy but didnt build. I really enjoyed my food! I will definitely go again.

Cajun Deli is the only seafood boil place I go to. The quality is always excellent. The sauce is always rich and flavorful. I like to layer the sauce and garlic on top of white rice, it hits different! I always get the "house mix" seasoning and the medium spice level. I like getting a mix of: Peeled Shrimp Whole Shrimp Green Half Shell Mussles Craw Fish Snow Crab Legs I do prefer the whole shrimp over the peeled shrimp. The whole shrimp holds so much more flavor then the peeled shrimp. They do sell the claw crackers, if you need them for home use. They also offer bibs and gloves.

Garlic shrimp (served with white rice), chicken tenders (great seasoning) and crawfish boil (we ordered spicy).

Dry good Cajun & seafood, especially for MN. Had the mussels with just the right heat. Definitely will be back to sample more of the menu.

He's always extremely welcoming, helpful, and makes a stiff drink. Fri-Sun they shop runs a "backdoor burger bar" after the normal po' boy shop house and you know I had to get the fried cauliflower. The dish is, more or less, the same as the one from Little Tijuana so I had to get it. This version seemed to have been made a bit more "edina" by removing a lot of the spicy ginger flavor from the original that I love so much. It was still really good, though. Perfectly tempura'd florets with kewpie and a sweet soy-based sauce like hoisin. I'd get it again (I always do) but recommend getting the full Little T's experience if you get the chance

Super cute waitress who is there everyday Saturday; I forgot her name. If it's get packed there, I can see the wait being crazy. I went for the boudin balls of course and the shrimp poboy. I won't lie the poboy was good but what made it amazing is the lemon aioli that I added to it. The boudin balls were chicken and actually tasty. I give it 4 out 5 and I will definitely try again.

I've been to mallards a few times now and always is amazing!…read more Our usual go to is the shrimp boil for two. This shrimp boil is some of the best in Minnesota that I've had! We've brought countless friends here to try it and it's a heafty feat! You get around 40 to 50 pieces of shrimp, around 10 things of potatoes, six things of corn, and sausage too... it's humongous. You really get your moneys worth! If I'm being honest I haven't tried anything else here but I can assume it's equally amazing! I'm really looking forward to coming back here in the summer and enjoying this on their outdoor patio. But so far really love mallards and will always recommend it as it go to spot for anything seafood related! At our most recent stop our waiter was kind gave us lots of recommendations and was quick to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything throughout our entire experience. This goes for each time we've been here, the service has always been wonderful. I find it this location really unique and it sits on upscale while also being able to be casual. Thank you Mallards for a wonderful time!

Delivery was reasonably fast, as the restaurant wasn't far so the food arrived within about 35 minutes. The temperature was moderate, so just heated it up but the dish itself was fantastic; moderate amounts of clam meat and thankfully half shell clams were included. They had the clam broth on the side in a separate container which I appreciated. This allowed for you to add as much broth as you wanted to your meal. I highly recommend and am looking forward to ordering this again when I'm back in town.

We've eaten at Smack Shack in Minneapolis several times, and I'd give it five stars every time…read more This led me to expect a similarly positive experience at other Smack Shacks, and that's where things went off the rails a bit. Don't get me wrong: the lobster roll is just as terrific as the one downtown! But the service was a disappointment, and the quality of prep work leaves something to be desired. We watched two other tables, seated after we were, get waited on and receive their food before we could finally flag our waiter down to place our order. The crab cakes on the Niçoise salad were perfectly sized and delicious, but the potatoes and beans had not been adequately trimmed. Note well: if your order contains olives, some of them may have pits. I don't blame the kitchen for this -- it's always a risk with olives. There's a hefty amount of industrial plastic covering part of the kitchen. This was evident on the way to the restrooms. So perhaps they're experiencing growing pains, or equipment replacement, plus Operation Metro Surge has not been kind to the hospitality industry! I'm hopeful that things could improve. In the meanwhile, though, we're sticking with the original when we want that perfect lobster roll.

I would bring cash to tip your server with at your table. After paying, you can seat yourself anywhere and a server will come by and take your beverage order. The buffet includes unlimited soft drinks, drip coffee, and hot tea. Their Dr. Pepper is extra syrupy compared to normal fountain drinks, would recommend! Throughout the meal, the server will clear your empty plates and at the end of the meal they will drop off fortune cookies and towelettes. Crab days are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. During these days they serve lil crabs. There is also a build your own noodle station where you can choose your mix-ins and sauces, and they'll fry it up for you. The fried rice is solid and the garlic toast is shockingly really good. Food is pretty fresh and warm, and there are people constantly refilling trays and cleaning the buffet.

I came here during the football night just to see what this place was like. They had a light food menu since they were showing down the kitchen a bit early so it was mainly appetizers no biggie on my part. Their food menu was atrociously overpriced. Like $9 for a plate of fries and there's nothing special about them . Apparently they had a beer special too so i was excited about that. I had some non-alcoholic beer that was featured which is a great thing for them to have. I didn't realize that when I got my check that each drink was $9 each which is the most I've ever paid for a non-alcoholic beverage regardless if it was on a special or not this is like Los Angeles, California pricing! This is just a typical Bar and Grill establishment and I personally think there's no reason for them to be charging these astronomical prices. They do get Stars for having very nice service and a clean establishment with modest restrooms. There's plenty of parking with easy access to the streets. Overall, I was not impressed at all
