Seat yourself. Table service. The restaurant is very clean, roomy, comfortable. Bayou, Louisiana, New Orleans, and Mardi Gras, themed decorations all around. Every type and brand of Cajun seasoning known to exist is available to purchase. A freezer and refrigerated display case has other food items to go. Start your meal with the fried Boudin balls. The best item on the menu. Big balls of spicey deep fried Boudin with a smokey remoulade dipping sauce. These are addictive. I ordered the combo. A half, fried catfish Po' boy and a small bowl of Chicken and Andouille Gumbo. I was hoping for blackened catfish, but the waitress said "no can do." They don't do blackened anything. The Gumbo was very greasy, not a lot a flavor. A good application of Slap Ya Mama, brought it to life. A good size piece of catfish with a little shredded cabbage and the smokey mayo made for a tasty half Po'boy. It was a good combo meal. My wife had a nice small side salad with a cup of the "Low Land Gumbo," It was generously filled with crab, shrimp, chicken and Andouille sausage. She liked it. It had a strong fish taste. Too strong of a fish aroma for me. So much for the clean floor. The you lady waiting on us had a little trouble handling the bowls of Gumbo. She left a trail of Gumbo grease from the kitchen to our table. Check the pictures. And watch your step on the way out.

Alright... when your moth waters while you are in the parking lot because it smells so good... you know you are in for a treat! I got the lunch special, stuffed chicken wings, Mac and cheese, and green beans! My mouth was having a party with every bite! This is truly a down home southern cajun spot that you have got to they... and when you know, you know!

This place has been around since I was wee little and I have never gotten around to try it so tonight we did just that! The store itself was decorated in Mardi Gras and southern Louisiana decor For apps we got the boudin balls. I didn't find it had much flavor. 1.5/5 We both got 6 raw oysters. A couple of them had a hard middle that I wasn't able to chew. But the other 4 were just ok. I would give those 3/5 I got the crab cakes which were $9 and they were pretty small for the price. Not very flavorful. They were mixed with shrimp. I'd give them 1.5/5 My boyfriend got the Nola po boy. To me, it tastes like a crock pot roast. I love a crock pot roast but I didn't like it in po boy form. 3/5 For dessert we got the stuffed beignet with chocolate and it was the best thing we had out of all the dishes! The dough its self was so delicious and the chocolate filling inside was great as well! 5/5 Overall, the place is average. Makes me really miss Lasalles!!

Side of Fried Okra, $4 prior to tax

Cajun Ed's Hebert's Specialty Meats is located diagonally across from a Marriot Hotel with its own parking lot. My husband and I decided to come here on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. We came in a little after 2 pm and were greeted by a friendly employee behind the counter. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering the following to go: Signature Salad, $11 prior to tax + Grilled Chicken, $3 prior to tax- So happy to have a salad made with the a nice spring mix instead of that cheap iceberg lettuce. This salad also had avocados, strawberries, tomato slices, cucumbers, nuts, red onion, crumbled bacon and feta cheese. I added chicken to round out this salad and thought the portion was great for one meal. I requested for my salad to be placed on the side. For some reason, my ranch was packed in the same box as the okra (not sure if ranch is served with okra or if my dressing was just placed in here). Side of Fried Okra, $4 prior to tax- I am actually surprised with the amount of side of okra this came with. Perfectly fried and quite tasty. Build your own boil: Crawfish, 1 lb, $8.95 prior to tax- Lightly seasoned, this was pretty tasty. Had a kick to it (for me since I don't eat spicy food but my husband said it was pretty mild for him). The employee taking our order said he would give us butter and lemon wedges but it wasn't in our to go bag. Crawfish Tamale, $2.50 prior to tax- These tamales are pretty small but actually pretty good. There is crawfish inside these small tamales. I really liked it and would consider ordering it again. ---------------------------------- (Total= $33.25 after tax) Wait time wasn't too bad, it was probably under 15 minutes after we ordered. My husband and I enjoyed our order and had leftovers (the crawfish) for another day. If I lived in the area, I would definitely come back.

It was a packed house, party of 3 and we tried everything! Waited about 10 minutes to order and got a table as well. Lucky! You will get up and get your own refills, napkins, condiments. Self serve. Seating is tight and small dining area. Expected the crowd. Young blonde at the counter wasn't pleasant. And then when I asked for my receipt literally dug it out the trash and handed it to me, REALLY. You couldn't print another. Disgusting. The food came out rather quick, maybe 10 minutes. My son enjoyed the small fish tank, seen some blue shrimp I think it was how neat! So Boudin balls wasn't feeling the sausage taste Crab cakes more like crab balls, interior were much too soggy for my liking Gumbo was good mm rice and some weenies and one okra maybe expected lil thicker broth. Mac and cheese with crawfish was lil spicy but the bomb yassss love love and could have that as an entree with more crawfish please Shrimp Étouffée was flavorful and nice sauce. Added salt to everything but that's my liking Red beans and rice was good as expected King Cake so rich and creamy with the cinnamon cream cheese filling and the hot Beignets mmm light and airy not too much dough inside more like sopapilla. Loved the vibes, let the good times roll. $80 bill They charged $4+ credit card fee - as I was looking at my receipt from the trash. Smh not cool. I thought that was illegal in Oklahoma.

Cajun Ed's Hebert's Specialty Meats is an odd name and Oklahoma is an odd place to expect to find authentic Cajun food. But that's exactly what we found. Gumbo, alligator, frog legs, shrimp, crawfish, and catfish was just some of the well-known Cajun delicacies that this place featured on the menu; oh by the way, since it's a specialty meat store, if you choose not to dine in you can also select a variety of meats to take home and cook yourself. The ambience was eclectic. The service was very good. And the food was above average. Definitely if you're craving Cajun and you find yourself in Tulsa. This is a good place to go

Very likely the best Cajun food in Oklahoma. Nola's is a close second! It's also cool you can buy frozen food here and cook it later!

Excellent Etouffee - Shrimp and crawfish are both great. Also highly recommend the bread pudding.

With the mission to bring delicious prepared meals, exceptional quality meat and seafood, peak season produce, decadent baked goods, and fresh seasonal flowers, it certainly has succeeded its mission. The high quality and specialty products unfortunately also carry with it the higher price tags. The Fresh Market is among the most expensive of the high end markets. They have an Ultimate Loyalty Experience, but the cashier couldn't tell me the actual benefits. I think it's similar to Reasor's Rewards with weekly specials. They reportedly have the Tuesday specials (to be confirmed): ground chuck and boneless chicken breast for $2.99 per pound. They also have The Little Big Meal that rotates weekly. For those interested in cooking, they have many recipes on their websites which is unique. If you love the neatness and cleanliness of Reasor's then you are going to love The Fresh Market. I cruised through the store and was thoroughly impressed. Shelves and produce were neatly stocked. Deli products and meats looked really fresh. The quality was definitely there as well as the price tags. I am just not sure if I am the target audience of The Fresh Market, definitely gearing more toward affluent people.

That can happen at any grocery store. The lemons were in a yellow bag and not easy to see and they hadn't started smelling yet.
