Get the potato! It's huge it takes up a whole styrofoam container and probably weighs 2.5 pounds! I have had it with brisket and pulled pork, one time they had it as a special with Mac and cheese and pulled pork on it so now I order it that way! read more

This is my second time to Smokelahoma BBQ. The first time I got the ribs, Mac and cheese, and loaded cowboy baked beans. It was good. This time I tried the BBQ street tacos which consisted of pulled pork and sweet and spicy Cole slaw. I also got the Loaded Cowboy baked beans again because they are incredible. I'm not much of a Cole slaw fan but this was amazing! The combination with the pulled pork and bbq sauce was great and they were huge street tacos, doubled up. Great and friendly service! I don't know how people eat this much sugar and are still alive. If you're looking to spike your blood sugar levels this is the spot for you! I had a side of ribs and their Baja pork tacos. I scraped most of the slaw off due to the amount of sugar in it. I did finish the meat just because I paid like $35 for it. Seriously, the ribs and the pork on the tacos were so sweet I had some trouble with it not coming back up. I found the place here on yelp, just passing through from Colorado to Southern Missouri. It was a Monday and the place we wanted to have lunch was closed. Luckily, we decided on Smokelahoma instead. Wow. Around our table we tried the Tacos (brisket) with spicy slaw, the Spudlahoma, a brisket sandwich and the chicken flatbread. All were deemed delicious. I can personally speak for the spud. It's massive. I could only eat half. Make sure you order it with all the toppings. The tacos looked delicious. Everything was a large serving and most of us ended up with to-go boxes. Pulled pork had no smoky flavor....meat was way over done. The barbecue sauce certainly helped.

Service was good, but brisket dinner wasn't sliced brisket, it was cubed or shredded with loads of sauce already mixed in. The worse part is the meat seemed to me to be about twice as salty as it should have been. Hardly edible. read more

Stopped by for lunch. Had the brisket,smoked Mac and cheese, potato salad and a hot link. The husband had ribs, grease beans (green beans) and coleslaw. There was no smoke to any of the meats. The Mac and cheese was mushy, potato salad was a simple mustard potato salad. The cole slaw was a mess to much dressing and green beans were exactly what it says grease. The hot link appeared to be done on a griddle, the brisket was hard and greasy and cold, the ribs were just plain ribs no smoke not much seasoning. Cost us 48.00 for 2 people food was not appetizing. We were the only people there. Sadly just no smoke and frozen foods. read more

When Smokelahoma first moved to Claremore, I was excited to try them. After doing so several times, I had a new favorite BBQ place! The food was great, meat very smokey, and generous helpings! I was happy to tell others to go there! Went back in there a week ago and I don't know what's changed, but it's not a good change!! My wife and I both ordered BBQ bologna sandwiches. They were dry, flavorless and had zero smokey flavor. And worst of all, I paid $31 and some change for it!! Two bologna sandwiches, two half size bags of chips, and two drinks!!!! I know inflation has a lot to do with it, but $31??? Next time, I'll make my own bologna sandwiches!!!! They will be better and a whole lot cheaper!!! read more

Great ribs. Sides ok - but so very important for a bbq place ! When a customer orders a slab - add more than one piece of bread please. The beans could use more meat / onions, and sauce. (Like a "cowboy" bean) Potato salad needs something "fresh" in it - and perhaps some mustard to "brighten"it up. Again - well smoked meats - could really use a bit more thought to the sides. I didn't like the food. Dry and tasted like the meat was marinated in soy sauce than grilled. Service was friendly. Restaurant was clean.

I saw this new restaurant and stopped in to eat. The ribs were nice, a little greasy but tasty. I waited about 25 minutes for my order and I was the only one in there. So the waiting was longer than I expected. The cashier couldn't answer any question about their menu. I will let them get their newness under control and try again in a month. read more
