2 Fish and 3 Shrimp, with Okra and Fries
    Gerardo D.

We had the Fish, Shrimp, Okra and Fries and everything was delicious, it was fresh and perfectly cooked, only reason it didn't get 5 stars was there was a mixup, where I was given shrimp instead of chicken. Price was reasonable and would recommend to anyone looking for some fried fish!

This combo had to be the catfish, shrimp and oyster fry. Love me some oyster fry!

I love fish fry's , don't you? I expected a basket of fish and chips, basked with malt vinegar and tartar. But Angie's Fish and Wings was not that. I wanted to cry when they told me they didn't have malt vinegar and tartar to accompany the meal that was coming out. Instead, they had their own real deal. We ordered a couple catfish, shrimp and oyster frys. The breading was thin and crispy, the dipping sauce was like a Cajun mix of some kind...enjoyed the fried oysters! The black beans were yummy. I'm glad I tried it. Not totally my kinda thing, but worth the visit!

I usually frequent the location on 11th and Harvard but they have since closed I believe. The taste was still the same but they didn't have Angie sauce that the 11th st location had. None the less it was still good. But they forgot my Mac and cheese which I was looking forward to having lol

Very average. Ordered the #23 Sweet Chili wings. They weren't fully coated in chili sauce. Okra was good but could use a little more salt. Red beans and rice very average. It's a one and done for me. Won't be back.

Had lunch here with a coworker today. This location used to be Sam's Southern Eatery and while the name has changed, the menu looks very familiar. The building is old and could use some TLC as it is rather run down, but I came for the food not the ambience. I ordered the 3 Fish, 3 Shrimp platter which came with two sides. I opted for half fried, half grilled with fried okra and red beans & rice. My friend ordered a 10 piece BBQ wings with fries and okra. Being lunchtime it was rather busy and our orders came out in about 20 minutes. The portions are very generous as my fish and shrimp came on one plate, while the okra was in a basket of it's own and the beans and rice in a small bowl. The grilled fish and shrimp was delicious and had a savory seasoning. It was so good I finished that before moving on to the fried portions. The fried....two fillets and 2 huge shrimp. Mmm good. My friends wings also looked great. He was hesitant to come here, but left satisfied. Give this place a try. While the decor is lacking, the food makes up for it......and if that's not enough, you won't leave hungry.

Fish, shrimp, Mac and cheese, and fried okra!

Fried fish was delicious! Shrimp good. They put a spin to their tartar sauce, great flavor. Fried okra perfect, and Mac and cheese was tasty as well. Will definitely go back.

Half of a 10 piece order of the sweet chili wings. Oysters disappeared quickly once i got home.

I wanted some wings. Drove over to Angies Wings on sheridan. Give a new place a try that is not a chain. I was blown away. Service was excellent. I ordered 8 fried oysters, 10 sweet chili wings. They were fantastic. The oysters went quickly, sauce with them was perfect. The sweet chili wings needed nothing more on them. Great food and service. Definately going back. Got a pic of the wings, inhaled the oysters before i could think about it. Glad they are still open after all this crap going on. Small businesses need all the help we can give.

Fried shrimp were large and crispy for the value. Choice of sauce. Huspuppies were good. Small place with drive through.

The food was good, but instead of a whole catfish, like White River offers, they just offer filets. And it was a little too much breading.

They had market prices for all the seafood clearly displayed on the wall. The server was very nice and attentive. We started with the Krak Fries. My husband enjoyed them, especially with the sliced tenderloin pork on top, an unexpected but tasty combo. The side of kimchi tasted old to me. We also ordered the papaya salad with two peppers. It brought the heat, but in a good way! I loved that they included salted crab shells. For our seafood boil, we went with both of their current specials: the snow crab special and the crawfish combo (no picture because not sure if these changes). We also added a pound of clams, and they were able to toss everything together in one bowl, which was super convenient. We got the Flavortown sauce at medium spice. It was flavorful like the name promised! Next time we'll definitely try it hot. Everything tasted fresh and well-cooked. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. Would definitely go back!

The shrimp were tiny and the sandwich was covered with a sauce I didn't like. It should have occurred to me that the fried green tomatoes might also be Cajun. We don't like Cajun but thought the sandwiches might not have all the Cajun seasoning. We should have asked. Another lady at the table got the same thing and she didn't like hers, either. She did ask for ranch dressing for the fried green tomatoes. I followed suite. It did make the tomato's easier to eat but they still were not good. We only got 3 slices each and didn't finish them. I left almost all of my sandwich. I broke off a piece of the bread hoping it might be a good rich bread that I could nibble on. No luck. My husband ordered crawfish étouffée. He said it wasn't warm and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp too long. It was also salty and he has to watch his sodium. He left nearly all of it. One couple ordered voodoo chicken and smashed potatoes. They liked it and ate it all. One person got a chicken sandwich that he said was good. The 2 children got hamburgers and Mac and cheese. They loved the Mac and cheese but barely ate any of the burgers. Their grandmother took a bite of one of the burgers and said it was good. She took the burgers home for the kids. They put the gratuity on the check without telling us. My husband was about to add a gratuity but his sister noticed it was already added and stopped him. They charged us to use a credit card. That alone is enough to keep me from going back. The ambiance was New Orleans decor and pleasant.
