The interior of this place is super nice and cute! We did the AYCE and it was nice that it was all one price, a little bit disappointing that the crab isn't a part of the AYCE. The wings were actually quite tasty as well and we ordered two orders of wings in addition to the two seafood boils we were able to get through! The sauces are relatively mild in flavor, we got medium on the old bay and it wasn't really very spicy. The garlic noodles could use some more flavor. The service was quick and friendly and we were able to ask for more gloves. Also, there is a sink to wash your hands in the restaurant and not in the restroom, which is super handy to have when you're eating seafood boil. Definitely would come back, I hope they continue the AYCE! Please add the crab!

Love a good seafood boil so I had to find another one to try while visiting Portland. We ordered some garlic bread and calamari to start and some wow the crab combos. Garlic bread was great, but calamari just so so. Was also initially interested in their flavored lemonades but sadly not fresh fruits only juices added. Seafood boils were pretty good, but it's hard to find one that can beat my fav spot down in LA. Service was quick and friendly. Seems like a popular spot with locals. Great authentic flavors and big portions for the price. Happy we got to try it out!

Overall this place is okay- I have nothing amazing to say, but it was okay. The flavor was eh, could have been better in my opinion. The service was also only okay, I'm sure it was difficult because it was only one person, but he definitely seemed like he didn't want to be there/acted accordingly. I'm glad I tried, but I don't know if I would recommend to others or come back unfortunately.

1lb of snow crab, garlic, mild. Fabulous!

It's Friday Night Date Night with Wife N. Tonight we headed down the Cajun route with an informal dinner at Wow the Crab. We started with crab puffs and gyoza. Both were quite tasty--definitely house-made and perfectly prepared. Mains arrived. We did the "Get Down and Messy" (basically seafood by the pound), with a pound each of snow crab legs and crawfish. Each can be flavored with several choices and spicing from mild to wild. Her crab legs were in garlic butter, mild. I went cajun "hot" (3/4). Those crab legs were delicious, and a pound is a pretty decent amount. Helpfully, scissors and crab cracking tools and forks were at the table. My crawfish were okay. They really didn't have a lot of flavor infused into them, it was all the seasoning on the outside and in the plate. I'm kind of used to cajun hot being...hot. This was "Portland Hot," which is to say...isn't really. It was..."warm"...but really didn't leave much heat. I should have gone 4/4 on the spicing. I've had better crawfish boil at home. On the crab, a pound is great for an average eater. On the crawfish, there's a much higher shell-to-meat ratio, and I found myself still quite hungry after consuming the lot which was roughly 4 ounces of actual meat. Capped off with a Tonkotsu ramen which was entirely respectable. Apps: 4.5* Crawfish: 3* Crab: 5* Ramen: 3.5* Definitely going back, but I'll do the crab next time. There's plenty to choose from here.

I finally had their seafood boil. I got their garlic butter and $33 set. It had a good amount of clam, shrimp, muscles, it also had potatoes, sausages, and corn. The shellfish were nice, fatty and no sand. The shrimp were huge! The seasoning was good and was less salty than another restaurant. The potato and sausages were fine, the usual. The corn was good though, sweet and it soaked up all the flavors. I ordered take out so I was able to enjoy it at home and it was still very hot when I got home. I appreciated the double bagging inside a take out box to ensure that there wouldn't be any spills.

We wanted to have a crab and seafood dinner and Wow the Crab was conveniently close in Bethany Village. We enjoyed the Dungeness crab as part of the Wow The Combo C Dungness(1), Corns(2), Potato Chunks(2), Sausage(4) and plenty of shrimp. Good service, a generous portion which was plenty for two!

    AYCE

There were 4 of us and we did AYCE. Mussels and clams were ok but crawfish wasn't that good. It's good they make it as you order for whichever flavor you want for each round. However the down side of that is the crawfish didn't have much flavor in it , so you really have to dip the crawfish into the sauce after peeled. Portion of crawfish for each round wasn't much though so if you really want only crawfish you need to ask them to just get crawfish only. For this time of year we were expecting frozen crawfish so overall it was ok. Spicy level was not that bad , if you like more on the spicy side then order more spicy. AYCE comes with complimentary appetizers so we got a couple items to try. Garlic noodles was not good. Wings were good. Crab puffs was just ok. I guess if you go as a group the AYCE price would be ok since each person can eat whatever seafood item/ appetizers as well. Customer service was great. Food came out fast too. I really like the interior design with having the washing sinks right by the tables so you can wash your hands without needing to get into a bathroom. Sink and tables were pretty clean too. If you live near by I would say give it a try. But hopefully when live crawfish season comes maybe we'll give it another try and I'll put in another review by then.

Great service, and everything came out pretty quick! Food is flavorful and everything is decently priced. I drove about 40 minutes for this, and it was definitely worth the drive - esp since I was craving a tasty seafood boil! The fries are a must get; super crispy and light!

I came here for dinner one day and had a great time. We had to wait a little bit, so I recommend making reservations if you can! The inside of the restaurant is bright and clean with lots of seating for parties of different sizes. Staff is very friendly. I made my own combo from their "Make it Messy" category and loved it. I was able to choose the different seafood, meats, and veggies that I wanted in my combo and the flavor and spice level. The food was flavorful and the seafood was plump. Had a great time and I think this is a pretty good spot for seafood boil!

Wow, the crab? WOW, the service was f-ing horrible. Saw on TikTok & drove 30 min to try. We walked into straight confusion. No hostess or stand. We walked passed several tables to what seemed to be the front counter. Waited awkwardly for a minute when a worker finally appeared & looked at us silently with a blank stare as we asked if we could seat ourselves. He said nothing & went & talked to another worker who came out. The 2nd guy pointed us to a table & walked away. We had to track down our menus. I've never seen a menu with so many rules, terms, & conditions, such as, "$15/lb food waste fee" on an all-you-can-eat menu. Waiter finally came & took our order, & that's when the rules became contradictory & confusing. The menu says $38 per person for all-you-can-eat, & "everyone at the table has to order all-you-can-eat." We tried to place our orders individually, but he told us it was family-style & one order for the table - but again, the menu says per person. We said we were confused about how it works & what the rules mean, but he just repeated that it was family-style. We reluctantly ordered, he went away, & we continued to discuss our confusion. After being confused af & still getting no clarification, we asked to cancel our order, he said yeah with no hesitation & he walked away. The only thing we were served at this restaurant was, "WOW, F*** this place." P.S. Bag O' Crab doesn't have confusing menus & even have waiter robots to bring your food out.

Apple Maps showing them open everyday until 10pm.

Drove an hour to eat here, only to be told 'we're closed' when we arrived around 9:30pm, despite Apple Maps showing they close at 10pm. I understand showing up close to closing isn't ideal, but the way it was handled mattered more than the situation itself. Being yelled at twice instead of being spoken to respectfully says a lot about how customers are treated here. Even in moments that may not benefit your business, professionalism and basic courtesy should still come first.

    Crab and lobster rolls.
    Andrew A.

I've finally come to the realization that lobster rolls are overrated. That said, WtC offers a worthy version at a fair portion and price. For those who complain about the latter you'd be hard pressed to find it for less in the Northwest. This isn't Maine, and there is no budget lobster. Fries come with the rolls, but unfortunatly they're topped with a spice which seems to be the trend. The buttered roll is quite good. Pro tip: you might be tempted to go for variety by ordering both the lobster and crab roll, but know the taste is very similar when eaten side-by-side. I'm not a fan of cardboard boxes when eating outside on the premises. Bethany continues to raise the bar, this is a great addition to the other offerings in the area. The young owner was friendly and set up outside seating for us.

New seafood boil spot in town! We got the snow crab and shrimp with Cajun seasoning. The flavors were good, very garlicky and well seasoned. I wished the flavors seeped through to the seafood more. It kind of just sits there, but it was still good so 4/5 stars. Service was decent, but hopefully will see improvements as they had just opened.

The restaurant is simply decorated and really clean. They really pack people in there, but it's packed in not a suffocating way. Our party of 5 got seated about 10 min after we checked in. All employees we came across were super nice especially our waitress. She was fab! Ordered the Cajun Scramble [$19] which came with potatoes & a biscuit. The potatoes were some of the best we've tried and the scramble was really flavorful. Also got the Praline Waffle [$15] which came w/one huge waffle with all the praline fixings. That was sooo esp the white cream that it came with. Tried a bite of the Banana's Foster French Toast [$16]- super good as well. Also took a bite of the Cinnamon Roll [$9] which was warm and gooey just the way I like it. The whole meal was straight fire! No misses. Would have loved to try their dinner menu, but it was our last day in the city. However, if we ever find ourselves in Portland again, best believe we're coming back for more. That said, I've been here a few times and keep wanting to love it more than I actually do. The food is good, but with so many amazing brunch spots around Portland, nothing on the menu really stands out enough to justify the wait for me. The exception? The Bloody Mary. That thing is loaded and worth ordering every single time.
