Over priced for what you get. Photos look good but in reality, the lobster tail was very small and slightly over cooked. The crab legs had little meat in it. The shrimp was the only good thing. There's a ton of potato in it. It was run by one employee the day i went and food took 50 mins when he said it'd be 20-30 mins. Disappointed overall and certainly won't be back.

I had friends visiting from out of town and wanted to take them to a fun food truck pod. I hadn't been out to these carts in Beaverton before, so I knew it would be a fun trip. My friend is from Texas and LOVES her seafood boils (as do I!) so as soon as she saw this truck, she ordered ASAP. I'm sure she wasn't planning on sharing her food with me, but once she let me have one shrimp, it was game over. I had to have more! She ordered the cajun butter and it was amazing. Super flavorful and all the food was cooked to perfection. I learned afterwards that you can double up on the sauces they offer. So next time... cajun butter + garlic parmesan will be happening!

We've been trying different food trucks in this plaza and this place just blew my mind! We all have that same thought-((Hmmm.... Seafood in Food Truck??)) Let me tell you..... SOOO GOOD! Fresh, non fishy Shrimp,Crab,Sausage, Potatoes and Corn! It is a bit pricey, but honestly he really packs in a ton of food. The shrimp is also cooked perfectly and juicy. The sauce was on point! We've so far tried Fiesta and Cajun and both were tasty. Highly recommend you give this place a try!

    5. Full Catch Combo (2 clusters, 12 shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage, egg)

My son and I split the "Full Catch" and it was super delicious! Exceeded my expectations for sure. I will definitely eat here again the next time I'm in the area.

Broken crab clusters replaced with smaller legs.

Disappointed in the two crab clusters. Both were broken and missing the meaty legs, but replaced with smaller broken off leftover pieces of another crab. Why not give complete clusters. Only one claw in the box. The potatoes, corn, and sausage were good, but so disappointed in the crab legs.

Decided to order for delivery. Everything was so super delicious! Daughter loves the Cajun shrimp and I thoroughly ended the two clusters of crabs legs. The corn was so go as was the egg. Couldn't finish it all, so it was a great price. Will definitely order from Kracked Crab Beaverton again!

#8 8. When Larry Met Shrimpy

Went to BG's Food Cartel and have been eyeing this place for a while. Finally treated myself to the #8 When Larry Met Shrimpy with garlic parm butter sauce for $30 and thoroughly enjoyed it! Yes the lobster tail was a bit small but the flavor was on point and everything was delish. Compared to the other food carts where portions are smaller, this hit the spot. I really liked that the guy working said the crab is Canadian Snow Crab and frozen once to preserve the flavor. Going to have to try the crab next time!

Delighted with the plate of food I got here. Everything tasted great drenched in the cajun butter especially the shrimp. Can't wait to go back to try the crab next time.

Here's another gem in Portland. What I absolutely loved about this place is the sausage is chicken and not pork! (No pork on my fork). Can you get amazing service at a food truck? Yes! You sure can!! Josh (one of the owners) was a great host and just ordering our food was a moment to remember. We had the #7 which is perfect for 2 people. 1 lobster tail, 2 crab clusters, several potatoes and 2 each of the chicken sausage and eggs. When I say "Bon appetite" I mean it!! Check them out next time you're in town!!

Lots of buttery goodness. Shared this with my son. Got and extra corn and sausage so we could have one each. Love this place!

    Wow'sers!!! All the goods!!

Food tasted fresh but was a bit too salty. I got the Ragin Cajun #7. I wouldn't but this again. The service was pleasant.

Well, after finally getting a chance to browse all the pods, I found Dad's chicken, but nothing was grillin'. So I came back here to Pares PDX Express instead. Checked out the side menu, checked out the prices, and out comes a brutha from anotha mutha! Welcomes me, so I asked my pare "What's good?" He said, "Everything!" smh, "Damn!" A good sign :(but not a good sign for me healthwise:) haha! I asked how long he's been open, and he said, "Since September." Still fresh and new to me, so my yelpie duty was to support my locals. Here's what I ordered: Drawn to the Crispy Kare-Kare ($15), this caught my eyes! (Optional read) Typically, the Filipino kare-kare meat used is with cuts of chuck steak and boney beef neck. Some like using pork hocks. Sometimes kare-kare will have beef tripe added. But personally for me, I love my mom's version using oxtail. I don't like the neck, I don't need tripe, it's gotta be OXTAIL!!! Besides, it's all about the stew and the saucy peanut buttery flavor. About Pares PDX kare-kare version... I saw "Crispy" and knew this was referring to either crispy pata or lechon kawali (aka deep fried pork belly with skin). They serve their kare-kare with crispy pork belly, bok choy, long string beans, and eggplant. The stew of peanut sauce was drizzled on top. With the home-made shrimp bagoong (fried shrimp paste) in between. I would have stayed outside on the patio tables, but it was going to rain. So I rushed home, and mmm mmm mmm the pieces were still nice and crispy indeed! I haven't had pork belly in so long that I was in heaven, not worrying if I needed to go to the hospital afterwards lol. You can have the dish with plain rice or garlic rice. I chose the garlic rice, which is almost a given. A bit of more information: ~ They've got a QR code to view the menu and/or place an order. ~ Majority or nearly all of the dishes were $15 average. ~ To feed your eyes, there are pics of the dishes on the side of the truck. ~ Service was pleasant and fast. Can't say I'll ever order what I can make myself, like adobo, sisig, pinoy style spaghetti, or lumpia, but I will definitely be back to try their version of pansit palabok, laing, dinuguan, and turon. I'll even try their "halo halo" next time! The Filipino authenticity, kinda like mom's style is here! Come check them out!

Multiple times now, I have placed an order, watched the status change to "Confirmed" and even "Preparing," only for the restaurant or their system to cancel the order abruptly after the Dasher is already assigned or on their way. This is not just a minor inconvenience; it completely wastes time and effort planning a meal. A major contributing factor is that they frequently forget to close and update their DoorDash channel, showing they are available for online ordering when they are not. It gives the false hope that the food is on its way, only to be cancelled last minute, forcing a scramble to find dinner/lunch elsewhere. The management needs to seriously address their online order process, communication with delivery platforms, and their kitchen capacity. If you cannot fulfill an order, it should be rejected immediately, not 30-40 minutes after confirmation. Until this issue is fixed, I cannot recommend ordering from here, especially for delivery. It's too unreliable to depend on.

The staff is always friendly, the service is prompt, and orders come out quickly and are plated so beautifully they *must* be photographed every time. I'm a creature of habit so I could order flautas here forever, but I promised myself I would try the chile relleno next time we go. Wish me luck! We love the casual vibe. It's comfy, there's usually a place to sit, but it can get packed when the weather is good. The space is welcoming and offers opportunities to chat with others if you want. It's a great space that fosters community.
