All in all, I would bypass this place at all costs if there is a line. Pastries looked great- if you just went for a dessert, I think you would be happy.

Baked in the Burg opens at 10am and closes at 7pm, and has a very different vibe than what we were expecting. The pastries are definitely meant to be the star of the show, but they were mislabeled (labeled as chocolate pistachio but only chocolate was available), and the baristas knew very little about the product. Speaking of the baristas, although they were very friendly, they clearly were woefully lacking in training. I ordered a chai tea, and one of the baristas asked the other, "Do you know how to make that?" Additionally, my mom ordered a coffee, and when she asked if the brew coffee sitting on the hot plate was fresh, the barista answered, "It was made this morning [seven hours prior to our visit], but it's been on the hot plate." My mom had to ask for a fresh pot to be made, because apparently no one told these poor girls how disgusting coffee is after seven hours on a hot plate. To their credit, though, they were extremely friendly and accommodating, and did their best to answer all of our questions. I just think they need more training.
