Even though it's off the beaten path, the creativity and skill they put into their baking are top notch, like something you'd find in NYC or Miami. I tried so many things, and each one blew me away. The pull-apart salted caramel bun was a dream, and that croissant dough strawberry-rhubarb-and-custard pastry (I wish I could remember its name!) was so good. The baguette was perfect, and the country ham, cheese, and jalapeño croissant was a flavor bomb. And those buckwheat cookies? I can't stop thinking about . When you walk inside, you feel like you've been transported somewhere totally different. The vibe, the care they put into every detail--it's just special. The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. If you love food, you have to check this place out. I can't recommend it enough.

I wasn't sure what to expect being my first time and knowing for a fact that they run out of baked goods early. I was just happy to buy whatever they had left. THEY AGGRESSIVELY SUGGEST THAT YOU NEED TO PREORDER before you arrive. Just so you are "aware" of the atmosphere when you arrive. One of the staff members was super nice and answered my many questions. The other of the two just wasn't and informed me of the above. What's up with Saratoga businesses hiring really rude children? Suzanne, let's chat.

It was for a birthday I made cannoli cake but didn't want to make the actual cannolis to save time but wanted a higher quality version than price chopper I also got a latte and it was very good- nice and hot (some places they're kinda cooler) The service was great a woman with short brown hair helped me & made the latte. It was a very cute cafe /bakery and idk if they make their desserts but if they do- great job! Im happy either way and the birthday boy said the cannolis were perfect.

Both the pecan pastry and the raspberry cheese danish were great! No complaints! Where this place falls right off the cliff is service. It's cold and rude. No if's ands or but's about it. And after my experience, I went and read all the reviews. This is a thing apparently. And to make it worse, the owner, instead of apologizing with humility and concern to the guests that keep him in business instead writes entitled zero accountability messages back to patrons after leaving bad reviews. Honestly that's immature and short sighted. The good will of the public doesn't last forever. But on the other hand, if you desperately miss the rudeness of Europe then this is truly the place for you!

We didn't have to wait long. I think maybe like 10 minutes. It's a small quaint restaurant on Phila Street not far off of Broadway. We walked here from our hotel (Hilton) as parking anywhere/everywhere in Saratoga can be a challenge. There is street parking right in front of Sweet Mimi's but it'll probably be taken so you should probably just walk. And you'll appreciate the walk to help burn off a few calories of Sweet Mimi's delicious offerings. (And there are plenty to partake in.) We enjoyed the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Mediterranean Omelette. We did not leave disappointed. In fact, our tastebuds and tummies were so happy with our choices. The omelette actually came with the same challah bread that the french toast was made from. If I lived closer, I'd be buying that challah bread every week. It's so freakin' good! The french toast is HUGE! Really... you should share it. The several bites I took were incredibly satisfying. The cinnamon was just right. And because it was already sweet... we opted to forgo the syrup. The french toast also came with a bunch of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries!! The med omelette was filled with sausage, spinach and tomatoes. I loved every bite. I don't know when we'll be back tin Saratoga... but I will definitely be coming back to Sweet Mimi's when I do.

Seating is crowded, service--while overall nice--was rude when it came to the server we got. She may have been having a bad day, but definitely ended up taking it out on us. Ended up making us feel very unwelcome to the point we decided it was better to try and just get going. The granola was stale alongside the underripe blackberries in the parfait we'd ordered. Had an eye for something sweetly comforting and the food just doesn't match up. Overall, for the wait it has, it's not worth the mediocre food inside. Also, unrelated, but not exactly a place to stop by, get some coffee, and read as you'd maybe look for in a café. So if that's what you're looking for, I'd recommend elsewhere.

They had gluten free bread, which isn't always easy to find in a bakery, so I got that. Now normally, GF bread is nothing to write home about and often resembles a spongy, white piece of foam, so I was delighted to open up the foil to see something that actually looked like real bread. This bread had crust too. It was soft and flavorful with an excellent texture. I think it's made with buckwheat, and had a bit of a sweet hint to it. The bacon was plentiful, thick, and a nice mix of crispy and meaty. I didn't want this sandwich to end. My husband got the same sandwich but on a Kaiser roll and loved it as well. The bakery itself was cozy and had a lot of options for freshly baked bread, croissants, and pastries. They had a full coffee bar with lots of options as well. I like that they have a station set up where you can add any type of milk or sweetener you want, as well as condiments, plasticware, to-go bags and more. And for dessert, I got a GF brownie to go...it was phenomenal. Big, moist, delicious, and had a layer of chocolate fudge and chunks on top. My only regret is that I didn't find this place at the start of my trip, because I would have been there every morning. I can't wait to come back on my next visit to Saratoga!
