I had time before my cousin's wedding was starting so decided to walk from the hotel to this bakery we found. Definitely a cute space, tucked away a little bit but wasn't too hard to find. Rock Hill has a ton of gluten free and vegan options, and a stocked fridge as well! There was a bit of seating but we just did a grab and go. I ordered a matcha with oat milk and my cousin ordered a chai. Definitely would go back!

I ordered a breakfast sammy, Mimi's reuben, a side of potato salad, and a large love-a-cado salad with balsamic dressing. It still blows my mind that everything served here is vegan as it is so so delish. Lastly I decided spur of the moment to grab a few of their baked goodies to go. To be honest I have never been tempted to try their sweets as it appears ordinary and not very moist looking. Boy was I so so wrong. The cookies, the cinnamon bun etc were all so so yummy. I will always get their sweets whenever I stop in. All their personal faves on recommendation were spot on! You really can't go wrong with whatever you get here!

Generous portion sizes, but the option to size down if wanted (full size or 1/2 portions available). It's always served fresh and hot! The flavors are really delicious and I really appreciate the extensive gluten free option. He makes things gluten free that you really can't get anywhere else. For example, the gluten free eggplant and/or chicken parm, chicken tenders, pizza, pastas, a variety of homemade desserts (the carrot cake is one of my favorites), etc. The service is always super friendly!! Many of the servers have been there for a very long time, which is nice! They know the menu, they know the customers, and they seem to really enjoy working there! The restaurant is also located right downtown, walking distance to shops, other restaurants and bars, the arena, etc.! Go check it out! I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Opened by Christian Rath in September 2023, it features dishes learned from his long career in food service. Spargel is the German word for Asparagus. This is a comprehensive tour of authentic German cusines from many regions of Germany. Just explore the menu options on the website. We started with a variety of Paulaner draft beers at the bar with the knowledgeable, Beau. Our server at our table was Kelly L. She was very helpful explaining the different dishes and provided excellent service. We started with two of their famous suppe (soup) - Spargelcremesuppe - gream of asparagus w/ garlic croutons ($8.50) and the most popular seasonal Cream of Yellow Chatrelle Mushroom Suppe w/ bacon & onion ($15.50). Unique to us and delicious. Dinners were trio of wild game sausages-wild boar, rabbit, & elk served w/homefries, red cabbage, & ligonberry sause ($34.50), Schweinelende-pan-seared pork tenderloins w/yellow chantrelle sauce, potato croquettes, and bacon wrapped green beans ($36.50), Gebratene Schweine Haxe-pork shank slow roasted with dunckel (dark) beer sauce w/ potato dumplings & sauerkraut ($35). The last dinner was the Bavarian Sampler Tour of German Cusine for Two - 12 items on this platter ($80). Our party of five could have shared this dish. It was Wunderbar! Spargel serves authentic & unique dinners along with the familiar such as Rouladen, Schnitzels, & Goulash. Desserts were creme brulee Grand Manier ($12.50) & apple strudel w/ warm vanilla sauce ($9.50). Their online menu is a must see before a visit. Outstanding meals & excellent service. Danke to Kelly L., Beau, Christian, and chefs. Open: Wednesday - Sunday: 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm Nick & Liz, Judy, Shannon & Todd GACA Albany, NY USA

The food was very interesting since I had never eaten some of the German type foods they had available and some of it was delightful, but some of it was not memorable. I definitely would be willing to try this place again though so I'm not inclined to say that it isn't worth a try. The jury is still out!

The warm focaccia served with oil and balsamic could have been my whole meal....super delicious. Yes, I'm a glutton and ordered a second helping of said bread. Overall, it's a very nice space that definitely gets loud when it's busy. My advice is to not be in a rush and don't go hangry if you're dining during prime times. We did order cocktails/mocktails, appetizers, main dishes AND dessert. Everything took quite a while (except dessert and coffee arrived quickly). We all enjoyed our entrees and thankfully, each other's company. We were there for about 2 and a half hours from start to finish.

The menu looked fantastic and it was easy to make a reservation online a few days out. Come hungry! The portion sizes are giant and the flavor is amazing! Our server was super attentive to us and was on top of getting what we needed/asked for. While it did take a bit longer than normal for our entrees to come out, it was worth the wait! The lamb shank fell right off the bone, no knife required. The steak was cooked to the requested temperature and had great flavor. And they were great at accommodating a side substitute on the NY Strip dish. Then dessert. The German Chocolate Cake was phenomenal! So moist and the frosting was just the right amount and not overly sweet! It's definitely a place I'd recommend and can't wait to go back to!
