We really wanted a tiered funfetti cake for our wedding but had a hard time finding someone who could make it since it's not exactly a normal wedding flavor. Man, finding a gluten free wedding cake is hard... Finding one that tastes good is even harder... I found Christie here on Yelp and decided to take a gamble and ask if she could fill this request and I am so glad I did! Christie runs this operation out of her home which allows for flexibility with clients in scheduling tastings, etc. She is simply a delight to work with- she is positive and cheerful, very responsive to e-mails (my preferred method of communication) and very thorough with impeccable attention to detail. She was able to fill our order with no hesitation and the cakes were beautiful, moist and delicious! The wedding cake was surprisingly tasty for a GF cake, as I usually find them kind of dry, crumbly and reminiscent of cardboard. The design of the wedding cake was simple and elegant, and looked just like the sample cakes she showed me. Christie even delivered the cakes and cupcakes to Taber Ranch in Capay, CA (our venue) for a small fee and set up the entire display table and lent us her cake stands and cake plates as well (free of charge). In total, our two tier cake and 200 cupcakes with delivery came to just around $500! I was shocked at how cost effective she is! I DARE you to try to find a baker as caring and professional and Christie who produces beautiful, quality desserts for the price.
