Stopped in here on my way home from a doctor's appointment looking for a croissant which they had in the case and, I was told, fresh ones in the back. I only had ApplePay with me, and there was a $10 minimum unless you paid cash. The croissants looked like the ones you find at the wholesale stores, but I wish I could've tried one. You walk in and there's a good size lobby with a couple tables. Behind the counter there's a doorway through which you can see a huge bakery! When you enter this spacious bakery, you are greeted with the scent of cinnamon and freshly baked goods. The employee was in the back baking, but she came up when she saw us. The interior is very roomy, so there's room for a long line to form. They only offer 2 tables to sit and eat your treats there. Along one of the walls are several refrigerated cases with Mexican treats. There's a case of Mexican pastries and bags of bolillo for sale. They also have a refrigerated case of drinks (the juice we bought said it expired in November, but I didn't noticed until after we bought it- tasted totally fine). The donut selection was also very well-stocked, even at 10am when we visited. Apparently they are often open until midnight, which is really rare for a donut store! You can fulfill your donut cravings any time of day! They have old fashioned donuts, raised donuts, bars, apple fritters, bear claws, donut holes, and jelly filled donuts. Donuts and Mexican pastries [Woodland CA] I really liked their donuts here. We were on our way home from Napa and took the rural interstate (I-505) heading home towards Woodland. We took a quick detour and stopped by this bakery. Inside is a spacious bakery cafe that included a dining area for customers to sit and enjoy our food. I rang the bell for assistance. The employees were in the back preparing more goodies in the kitchen so while waiting for someone to assist us I had a chance to look at the yummy desserts offered -- assorted donuts, Mexican pastries, pastries, breads and other sweet treats. By the way, we walked in around 3:30ish so we were the only ones there. I wasn't familiar with some of the desserts, some where inside refrigerators and, unfortunately, I have not had a lot of foodie experience with Mexican pastries, most of them didn't have any labels or descriptions so I wasn't sure of what to get, they all looked good, though, some colorful... like what are the pink pastries? Anyway, I stuck with what I do know -- donuts! I got a cinnamon roll and hubby got a chocolate glaze. I was really excited about visiting this location and was pretty disappointed with their food! Got two tamales and my friend got one. They were all wrapped horribly and the cheese tamale was the worst one - we had to unroll the entire thing and all of the tamale was thinly spread onto one side. It was as if someone put everything onto one side and lazily rolled it. They also came cold at order. We also got baked items. The rolled cake was good, the sugar donut was ok, but the churro was bad. Cold, not a good texture even after toasting it, the dough was flavorless and it didn't have enough sugar. Thanks to Tina N.'s 10pm donut craving-inspired Yelp searching, Crazy Bakery popped up. After reading some of the reviews from its previous location as Sina Bakery before moving to its current spot on Main Street in downtown Woodland, I kick myself for not knowing about this place when I used to work evening shift. Late night sweet tooth hits hard. Easy to find across the street from Nugget, in the plaza next to Pete's Pizza. No obvious outside signage but look for 120 Suite A. If you reach Fit Republic you've driven too far. Smells so sweet when you walk in! Came in midday and selections of pan dulce were limited but we were able to fill a tray with some variety including the little marranitos/puerquitos gingerbread pigs! (Thanks Gabriela T. for letting me try yours!) They also have churros, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, all the donuts (one dozen for $11.50), donut holes (glazed, sugar). I got a cream cheese-jalapeno filled Bolillo bread (they didn't have the version with ham), cinnamon twist, and two warm pork tamales (they also had cheese tamales) for around $7 total. Who loves fresh donuts in the morning? Well at Sina Bakery or as Woodlanders call it "Secret Bakery" you get donuts fresh at night. This bakery is only open from 5PM to Midnight. Located in one of the industrial areas of Woodland, You can miss this place by driving by. If you do get lost, just roll down your windows and smell your way there. Once you get there, you go through the door and walk into a room filled with Mexican pastries. Be sure to get your tray and tongs, because you are gonna need it. In fact, take two trays. From there you get to pick and choose everything you want that's inside that room. If you are looking for donuts, make sure you get there after 8:30PM or they might not be ready. Take a walk into the huge industrial kitchen. You can see the dough being made, then rolled out and then cut into shape. You can also watch then fry the dough. Depending on the time that you are there you can see them coat the donuts with chocolate or maple sauce (Or whatever they are making). Make your way to the donut rack and start picking out what you want. I would recommend the Maple Bar. My wife's favorite is the Apple Fritter. When you are done gathering your hot and fresh donuts, just take them to the counter where they will box them up for you, and you can pay the very reasonable bill. Cool hidden bakery in the warehouses. They give you quantity on most items. Their donuts have a stale greasyness to them. I have been here 10x and its consistent. But they are cheap and the workers are nice. You help yourself and take it to the front and pay. Fresh donuts come out between 9-10pm daily. Cash only if under $10. read more

I must have gone to this place on an off night. I saw their sign on the outside that said they had pizza. I called the bakery and they quoted me the wrong price by one of the employees. When I got to the bakery the cashier told me that they had pizzas so I waited in line and ordered a personal size combo pizza. I was also once again quoted the wrong price by the employee. I was also told that it would be about 20 to 25 minutes wait for the pizza. The place was not too busy. However they did not have many people working up front There was just a youth group that had ordered a few tamales. They also waited over 40 minutes for their food. The cashier apologized to that group for forgetting about some of their food. After about 20 minutes I was told by the female cashier that they had quoted me the wrong price but would check with the co-worker if they would still be able to make me a pizza. They told me that it was their error and that they could make my me a pizza with a few extra toppings but not the full combo which I had asked about by phone and also in person. I just paid the price that the cashier had told me when She told me they can make personal pizzas. I said that it was ok and waited for my pizza thinking it would be what I had ordered. I saw people come and go and I asked twice about my pizza and was told that it would be coming out soon. After another 30 to 35 minutes the pizza came out. I opened it up to double check and instead of putting the toppings that I had paid extra for they just made a pepperoni pizza. I asked them whqt happened to my order?. They said what is wrong with the pizza. I told them it was not what I had ordered. However instead of putting the toppings which I had paid extra for they claimed to have forgotten to put those on. They said if I wanted to wait another 30 to 40 minutes they could cook a new one. However I had already waited over 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes in this bakery and did not have time to wait another 30 to 45 minutes for another personal size pizza. The pizza looked good on the outside. However it was cold andnndercooked on the inside. After wating 1.5 hours it was a disappointment. The churro and the Mexican soda were very tasty and good though I hope others do not experience the bad experience that I had to go through. So I got off late from work last night and I have a horrible sweet tooth saw they were open around 11pm so I stopped in to see what they had I ordered a few chocolate donuts and the creme cheese with jalapeño, all of them were extremely fresh the chocolate donuts were so good not every sweet the chocolate didn't crumble. If I hear about a secret bakery, I'm definitely going to check it out. A friend told me about Woodland's Sina bakery that is only open after 8:30 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. This is located in an industrial area. There is no large business name sign, but once you see the brightly lit neon 'open' sign and a bunch of cars in front you know you are there. The bakery makes deliveries in the morning to other local businesses which is why it's only open at night. When you open the door, you are overwhelmed with the sweet smell of freshly baked goods. Next to the register, there is a table that has a tray, parchment paper and tongs to pick out the pastries. There was a line to pick out the items contained in 4 refrigerators which includes donuts, cookies, cupcakes and bread. The donuts are usually the first to go so we had to wait a few minutes for them to refill it. Also, they are Mexican style bakery because the breads they sell are usually the ones you find and the local mercados. There aren't any prices located anywhere so you don't find out until you pay for them. I would guess it ranges from $.50 to $2.00. Depending on the number of items ordered, they put it in a small bag or bakery box. The staff is very friendly. Overall, this hidden bakery is cool to check out, especially if you are craving fresh baked treats at night. read more

So I met a friend for dinner here in Woodland and since I had read the review from Eric a while back I told myself I would try and find this place if and when I got to Woodland. I asked my friend about the place and she hadn't heard of it. So after dinner about 9:30 I said oh we should go by that bakery and she said a bakery would be open now, to which I replied yes it's a night time place. She said "Really? lets go!!!" So it's in an industrial part of town and coming from the direction we did and it being dark we couldn't find the address number on the building but saw the suite letters but they skipped "C" but I told her roll down Windows it's gotta be here and maybe we can smell it to confirm. Yes indeed!!! You can smell the doughnuts and goodies they are making in mass quantity here. So the reason Suite C is not on the front side it's because it's around back on the other side. We drove over and saw some cars and the warehouse door open with people inside rolling dough, making and baking goodies and lots of racks of things to choose from. OMG I have died and gone to sugar heaven. In the middle of all the action is a lady and a register and next to that some trays with tongs. She points out the many racks you can choose from and then you just co crazy. I was in awe as was my friend (who lives in Woodland, but had not known this place existed) The donuts were WARM and fresh!! They have many types of Mexican cookies and treats as well as several different types of donuts. We got a box full and I ate two that night and totally forgot to get pictures of the location or the fabulous goodies we got since I was in a state of sugar coma and just really enjoying myself and the people here. This place is perfect for a night owl like me! Places here in town have donuts in the morning and are closed before I even get out and about for the day. I think I will actually make a special trip out here for these bad boys since I only tried the glazed old fashioned ones and the rest I gave to my son and hubby. There are so many more to try!! Hubby said the cinnamon roll was good and the size of the maple and chocolate bars are huge (at least an inch longer than any I've ever seen) they had bear claws, apple fritters, filled donuts, glazed etc and all hot and fresh. I love that this bakery is close to my job. Which makes it easy to get pan on my break. The bread is made in house and is always fresh. Besides having Mexican bread, donuts, and a variety of drinks. I've visited this bakery on three separate occasions. Based on these visits I would suggest going in the morning. Not because the breads are different but the service and trays/rings are cleaner. The crazy bakery likes to reuse the same wax paper on the trays. So when you go in on the afternoon you can see the oil left from previous uses. On a couple of my afternoon visits, after my purchase was place in a grocery shopping bag the cashier went to the garbage bag and just banged the tray with the paper against the trash can. When I went to the bakery in the afternoon and early evening the cashiers have been eating food and touching my bakery with bare hands. A third reason for my rating is that there flies. So I for sure liked them better when they were located in the sketch warehouse and you could walk in and peep them making pastries. It was like the whole ambiance was the best. Since they moved to be the not so secret bakery anymore they're still good, you just don't get the full effect like when it was hidden.
