One of my FAVORITE donut shops in the Greater Sacramento Area. It's always worth it for me driving the ~30minutes from Sacramento to Davis for these donuts. From time to time they have special donuts like a Dubai Chocolate one. My favorite thing to get here is their Apple Fritters, I like how they have a good crunch on the outside but very apple-y and soft inside. My girlfriend really likes their cinnamon crunch donut!! I think it's cool how they're one of the only donut shops that serve an Ube donut. May I mention that every time we go, we're always helped by Mariah? She is such a wonderful help with her customer service being very phenomenal, if she's ever there just know you'll be taken care of! read more

I've tried to get donuts here twice the first time they were closed during business hours stating they were sold out. The second time it's clear why they close so early. They had 3 vegan donuts left at 830 in the morning. (Which they only offer one flavor.) I went out of my way to visit here since they are a business that promotes inclusive options. This was very disappointing to see. When I asked if these were the only option the host was not very friendly and welcoming which was also a huge let down. That being said the one option they do have that's vegan is pretty good. Nice density and bite to it. The glaze has great texture not grainy and not too sweet. It was a nice sweet treat. I got donuts from fluffy Donuts for my teammates, and they were so good. I ordered ahead, and when I came in to pick them up, they even gave me extra donuts as a thank you. They mentioned that ordering ahead really helps them know how much to prep for the day, which I thought was really thoughtful. The owners and workers are super nice and welcoming. Fluffy Donuts is a local Davis staple to me. Customer service is beyond the moon, their specialty donuts are addiciting, and the location is spotless! Prior to starting my 2 midterm-filled day, I decided that I needed a sugar and caffeine pick-me up to help me push through at 5am. I was greeted upon entry and was given tons of help and suggestions after I mentioned it was my first time. The smell of the sweet donuts wafted through the air and I was practically drooling while deciding what I'd get. I helped myself to the Vietnamese coffee, ube donut, and maple bar. I was even given 2 extra donuts for free after I had mentioned it wss my first time here! The customer service was absolutely incredible! The donuts were extremely pillowy, with the ube donut especially standing out to me. The ube flavor was extremely prominent, the donut was not overly sweet, and decently sized. Best spot in Davis for Vietnamese iced coffee! Also the only good spot in Davis for a decent, authentic banh mi (only offered on weekends). Alright, I came back to try their banh mi sandos and course had to pick up a box of donuts. I didn't get any ube donuts this round. Got the classics. The sando was really good, fresh veggies, enough pate (my favorite part tbh), and a healthy amount of meats. Solid in my books. No need for me to review the donuts / always on point. Fluffy Donuts has been a staple in the Davis community for many years! I was so excited to hear they reopened at a new location in the Westlake Plaza in West Davis after the U-Mall went under construction. Their donuts are so delicious! I loved the ube cake donut. Not too sweet but packed with ube flavor! I also tried their coconut frosted with coconut shavings donut and an old fashioned! All of the donuts we got were very yummy. As a new mom, it's a big problem to have this place a few blocks from my house. I've been to this place several times now at 5:30AM since I was awake anyway. The staff is friendly even tho it's 5:30AM! Amazing selection of donuts and super fresh. My favorite is the maple bar, but I've had all the donuts at this point! I was not planning on getting donuts today then I saw Fluffy Donuts and had to stop, Homer Simpson took the wheel "donuts". The selection is small, they do have ban mi and croissants, but they have all the standards. They have maple and chocolate twists that must be 10 inches (that's what she said) (sorry). I got the ube and it was fluffy and not dry I didn't get a strong ube flavor and the strawberry filled was good. Donuts were 2.50 each filled was a little more. They stand out for some of their non-traditional flavors, alongside their very traditional donut selection (I know the red velvet, ube, matcha, and vegan cake donuts are all fun picks!) Always a bit busy in the morning, which shows they are loved! This trip we got six donuts: the matcha cake donut, the Bavarian crème chocolate, the maple old-fashioned, the maple bar, a regular glazed, and glazed crueler. But what they did have were solid donuts (nothing that I would go out of my way to specifically drive here for but if you happened to be in the area, why not drop in type of place). They also sold banh mis which was interesting! Friend asked if they had blueberry donuts, which they did but cashier said they were vegan which initially turned my friend off. The cashier stated they were really tasty despite being vegan but my friend didn't want to take a chance. However, the cashier was super sweet and ended up just throwing it in for free with our order. We can see why she was so confident with her recommendation on the vegan blueberry donut!
