I got this chocolate mousse bear for my dad's birthday as a cute treat - while it was cute, unfortunately, the taste did live up to expectation. The texture was way too gelatinous - I would've expected an airy, creamy texture for chocolate mousse. The chocolate flavor was also not very strong. The cakes and pastries were also very overpriced in my opinion. It was ~$48 for an 6 inch cake and ~$10 for this small mousse bear. You can get a much larger cake for the same price at other bakeries in NYC. Yet another wonderful addition to the diversifying scene on Long Island. Inside you won't find rainbow cookies or biscotti, but rather cream puffs, egg tarts, crepe cakes and more! I ended up ordering a simple taro bubble tea with a matcha cream puff. Service was relatively quick and helpful. The bubble tea came in a cute container with plastic ears on top and whether it was purposeful or not, it also came with a purple straw to match the taro's hue. The taro milk tea was excellent. Not powdery, plenty of earthy taro flavor. The boba itself, nice and chewy. The cream puff, had plenty of cream in the middle, with a tender crust surrounding it. My only gripe is that there was a dusting of matcha on top that was a bit too much. Gave the puff an unpleasant bitterness. I really hate to leave bad reviews, especially when it's something I was so excited to try. I loved that there's another Asian bakery option on town that is cute but I was honestly so disappointed. The slush drinks were ok but everything comes from a powder (but I guess that's normal). The iced coffee did not have milk/creamer so we asked for creamer. The girl had to smell the carton of half and half to see if it was fresh...? This is very weird to do in front of the customer. The sesame crepe cake was very dry and bland. I was not able to finish it. The chocolate pup was cute but it tasted like watered down mousse, it was not good but my kids liked it, probably because it was adorable. For the Suffolk county bakery scene this is a great new addition, adding a good flavor representation for black sesame, egg, and taro desserts. I really enjoyed the crepe cake which had a lovely black sesame layer coating the top of the cake and a good ratio of crepe to topping. Also, it was not too sweet something that is a huge plus in my opinion. Other desserts while good flavor wise were a bit off in texture. The taro pastry and the egg tart were a little dry. The bakery staff was very friendly and placed all desserts in cute boxes that could be nicely presented for sharing with family. In total I would probably say this location is a solid 3.5 stars. However, there are limited options in Suffolk county and the flavors still represent the desserts well so I bumped them a bit since 3 stars would be unfair. I will definitely return for another crepe cake as it's on par with other versions of the crepe cake I've had. read more

I have been so curious about this place since I saw the sign go up ages ago. I have to say, it well exceeded my expectations. The store itself is so cute, and it has entrances on both sides of the building which is fantastic for parking. The interior is so cute! Love the marble tables and the chairs, looks like a great place to study. Everything is clearly labeled and the staff were so knowledgeable and attentive. They have bubble tea with the cutest cat-earred covers. I got the Peach Rose at half sweet and it was pretty tasty. But the sweets are the the star. I got the Rose Mille Crepe cake and it was so light and floral that I was in love at first bite. I also got shortbread cookies that were so tasty and buttery! The puff was delicious and the texture was perfect, a little crunchy at the top thanks to the caramelized sugar, the rest of pastry was nice and soft. The cream filling was really tasty too. I also got a pork floss pastry that was actually really good! I wasn't sure what to expect. It had a nice balance between sweet and salty (it was mostly savory with a hint of sweet, I recommend it). I was a bit disappointed with the rainbow crepe cake, it lacked the flavor I was looking for. Kind of bland. I'd want to see what their other flavors taste like. This was my first visit here and I wasn't disappointed! I got the brown sugar milk tea boba and it was delicious. Not too sweet and the boba were the perfect texture. I also bought the rainbow crepe cake and Castellan cake. Both were fresh and delicious. I never had either before and I would absolutely get them again.
