The assortment of breads, desserts and cakes are great. I prefer Korean bakeries because they just know how to balance the sweetness in their desserts. I really like the sweet cream bread. It's so simple yet so tasty. The cream filling is whipped and very airy. The coffee is pretty good too. This Cake House is located inside the koreatown galleria market entrance. There are no tables or chairs and is grab and go.

The bakery shop is conveniently located right outside the grocery store. It carries limited categories for pastry, and most cakes are overpriced for the size and quality.

This banana cake was amazing!!! Soft and creamy at the same time, and can taste fresh banana. One of the best cake !

Whole red bean bun ($3 each) - very generous amount of filling!

There are a lot of mixed reviews about this place but I personally had a positive experience. They don't appear to have as much variety as previous photos may suggest, but they have the usual items you'd expect at a Korean bakery (i.e. variety of buns, loaves of bread, cakes, etc). I got a whole red bean filled pastry for $3 and it was PACKED full of red bean. One review below said they didn't get any filling so maybe they got a bad bun or a misplaced one? It's not the cheapest red bean bun around town but they're so generous with the red bean that I think it's a reasonable price. I almost felt like it was a bit too much for my taste but the filling itself was tasty and I enjoyed the whole red bean texture vs the usual paste. FYI they have the smooth paste version as well for $2.50 a bun. Overall, I think this is a decent bakery that's worth stopping by, especially if you happen to be grocery shopping at Galleria.

Cookies and cream cake

I get cakes and pastries from Cake House a lot because it's nearby my place and I love all the different varieties they sell here. Their glutinous corn bread is a must! And seriously they have so many cute cakes to choose from. I've bought their dalgona cake before which has a design of a calendar of that month and they give you a cutout edible heart candy that you can place on a specific date. How cute is that! I've also got their cookies and cream cake which is super yummy and cute and also seasonal cakes on Christmas and New Year's Day.

New Nutella cake

Always celebrating great times and events with Cake House as the icing on the cake. And always delicious!

We ordered a birthday cake for my husband from this place and loved it so much . The cake tasted phenomenal and it looked amazing.

Cake House made our wedding cake and it was beautiful and delicious! Most wedding cakes taste mediocre, but numerous guests commented to us about how this was the most delicious wedding cake they've ever had. We got a berry cake with real buttercream frosting. We almost didn't get a cake, but are so happy that we did thanks to Cake House.

Green Tea Ice Cream Bar $2.75
Michelle E.

Saw these handmade ice cream bars by the check out and couldn't pass them up. I got green tea, ube, and strawberry. And while green tea is usually my number one favorite flavor, the ube was hands down the best. They were all delicious tho. I want to go back to try the other flavors. Warning, the stick goes all the way to the top so requires a little creative eating lol. I also got a red bean pastry and it was really good, the red bean was smooth and I prefer it that way.

Alhambra-rich yet not too sweet. Love it!!

Oh Cakehouse, you guys are amazing! These tiny little cupcakes were not only super cute but they were delicious! Love how the frosting is not too sweet and how the cake batter is not too oily like other cupcakes. The decor was also on point!! I like how they are bite sized-feel less guilty eating them since they are tiny! They are crowd pleasers, I've been ordering customized cakes, cookies and pies from the trendy shops as a holiday gifts and It was always hit and miss but I am so pleased with these little treats! Will definitely reorder these! Also try the checkered cake (black and white cake!) and the fresia (classic fresh cream with strawberries). Chiffon cakes are also a winner! Only thing I didn't really like is their Christmas cakes... Their log cake was overloaded with frosting which I didn't like. *must custom order in advance.

5/27/2026 BUTTER…read moreCROISSANT Ate it the next day and doctored it up with melted butter, honey, and salt and toasted it in the oven for even more buttery goodness. The croissant was even flakier and the inside layers were still slightly soft and just perfect, even the day after! Deeelicious! HAM & GRUYÈRE CROISSANT (Butter croissant rolled with slices of ham and Gruyère cheese) It was good, wish there was there was more ham & gruyère inside. Nonetheless, the croissant was the star! It was flaky, buttery, crispy perfection! Having said that, get the butter croissant instead! TRIPLE PAIN AU CHOCOLAT Deliciously dark chocolatey! Flaky, buttery, crispy croissant, what more could you want? Loved it with a cup of coffee! Better when you toast in the oven! ORANGE BLOSSOM ALMOND CROISSANT (Crispy twice baked croissant filled with light and silky almond cream studded with bright candied orange pieces, and a smooth, floral orange blossom pastry cream) Flaky, crispy croissant with beautifully floral, full orange blossom flavor! This croissant was beautifully done! I haven't had a pastry that honored orange blossom like this! The almond cream comes through alongside the orange blossom, which complemented each other wonderfully! I love elevated croissants like this! It makes me happy to come to Fondry, knowing they can deliver on all their baked goods! PASSIONFRUIT CROIFFIN (Croissant x Muffin; filled with bright, tangy passionfruit curd, and tart, bouncy passionfruit jelly, topped with a very vanilla chantilly cream) They did not hold back! This was a passionfruit flavor bomb! Sooo good! They did not hold back! The croffin was crispy outside and flaky soft inside. The passionfruit curd was flowing out of the croiffin as you cut it open! Passionfruit heaven! The vanilla chantilly cream was also excellent in flavor! It was so good, I went back to get another! TOFU CLOUD CROISSANT TOAST (Crisp and sweet miso honey butter toasted croissant topped with a cloud-like sweet tofu cream) Crispy, crunchy, deliciously toasted croissant. Can taste the miso and the croissant tasted like burnt caramel. The tofu cream was fluffy and sweet, like whipped cream, but fluffier! The bottom layer tasted like almond frangipane. Such a delight to eat! I regretted not getting a second one! Beautifully done! BLACK SESAME PARISIAN FLAN Not good. Tart was crispy on the outer layers, but underside was soft. The black sesame flavor was there, but it was a muddled flavor, not a clean toasted black sesame flavor. The flan texture was a bit gummy and a bit dense too. FYI: There were some brunch items you can order in person before 11:00am. ONLINE ORDER Encouraged to order online and order in advance if you want specific pastries. I went in person to order on Wednesday morning. There was no line. CUSTOMER SERVICE Smiling and friendly, helpful and welcoming! Staff was amazing and it felt as though you were walking into your neighborhood bakery! My second visit at Fondry has been even better than the first time! PARKING As always parking is sparse on their lot. Come on a weekday if possible and before 11:00am if you want to grab a parking spot on their lot. Came on a Wednesday at 10:30am.

Overall, such a great bakery that I'd definitely recommend checking out! They have a small parking lot, and if it's full, there should be plenty of street parking nearby (at least when I went right around opening time).

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.

I expected a high-quality cupcake. The cupcakes looked cute, but they were as dry as the Sahara. They should have been labeled as white cupcakes as I didn't detect any vanilla in them. I suspect that the "buttercream" was made with milk and margarine and powdered sugar.....so much powdered sugar. It was sickeningly sweet, and it was dry too. And a true bettercream doesn't even use powdered sugar. So not only were the cupcakes terrible, they were not even what they purported to be. Ever since reopening after the pandemic, both the service and food quality seem to have steadily deteriorated. I keep returning out of nostalgia for what it once was, but each visit leaves me more disappointed than the last. On my most recent visit, the service was noticeably dismissive and a bit sassy. The food was equally underwhelming. The Calabrese pizza was excessively greasy, and while I managed to finish the ribeye because I was absolutely famished, it was overcooked and dry, but at only $65 for the bone-in ribeye with fries, I guess I can't really complain. What truly ruined the experience, however, was the pear martini. It arrived garnished with a pear that still had the produce sticker attached. At best, this demonstrates a shocking lack of attention to detail and at worst, it raises concerns about whether the fruit was even properly washed. Seeing that completely killed our appetites. The restaurant removed the drink from the bill after i asked them to, but unfortunately the response felt indifferent, as though no one particularly cared that such an obvious mistake had made. After years of returning Bottega Louie, this visit was likely my last. It's disappointing to watch a once great restaurant decline so noticeably, but unless something changes, I can't imagine returning.
