We were having coffee across the street and decided to go into Cakes by B. Inside was warm and cozy. They had seats available and you could see the wonderful treats that were for sale. I ended up ordering the peppermint bark, and and espresso cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll had a very unique taste that I enjoyed. I also ate the peppermint bark in one setting. Not good for my waist but good for my taste buds. I'm excited to go back and try some of the other goodies they have.

This place is adorable! The display case is full of all sorts of pastries! They had some cupcakes and cake pops and a couple cake options, but more of the selection today was pies and bars and cookies and other pastries! They also have ice cream here! The young lady working the register was very patient. It was our first visit here so she gave us plenty of time to decide! I purchased an individual chocolate chess pie, a lemon shortbread cookie, a Rice Krispy treat and an apple caramel bar. So far I've only tried the cookie, but it was the perfect combination of lemon, butter and sweet! I will definitely be back!

We made a last minute decision while in Jamestown to visit this cute little bakery and I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere is one of a cute little house serving up southern pastries like grandma makes. They have just about every pastry you can think of too! We got the lemon bar, brownie, and chocolate pecan pie and all were to die for. Especially the brownie, I'll think about that till I get it again. The service was friendly and prompt since we were just in and out taking our pastries on the road. Will definitely return now that I know it's there!

We're always stopping for a sweet treat on a foodie day and Erik knew the perfect spot. cakes by B's was absolutely delicious. I think the secret of the cookie ice cream sandwich was what stole the show. On top of the goodies the house is so cute! Be sure to stop in.

We've been coming here for about 6 years and absolutely love peaceful Saturday mornings at this warm and delicious little hideaway! Yummy coffee and pastries are what we are after but we also see beautiful cakes leaving each week for all sorts of parties. Can't say enough about this wonderful small business and its owners.

This is a nice little bakery with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff seemed very friendly and happy to help customers. It looks like a great little community bakery and coffee house to become a regular at. The cupcakes were a hit with the kids and we also tried a chocolate chip cookie which was good as well. An excellent little place.

Very cute little bakery/cafe here in Jamestown. It's nestled in an old house that creates a warm atmosphere. Great morning date spot to catch up and just relax. The baked goods are great and the coffees are great also. 100% recommend!

If you are in the Jamestown area make sure to stop by! I'm SURE you'll find a treat that you'll love, as they have many. I had an iced cappuccino with sugar free hazelnut because I knew I wanted to try some of their items and didn't want sugar overload. I didn't need any sweetener for it; it was so good! I tried the chocolate cake pop and my goodness it was so moist. I'm a "less icing more cake" girl so I was pleased that this had just the right amount of icing but not too much. That bite of the rice crispy treat was also good (pictured) even though I'm not a sprinkles lover. Too many great options to try so I guess I'll just HAVE to go back soon!

Took my son here after preschool today and it is so quaint. A small older house that has been made into a bakery. They also have coffee and milkshake options. We settled on two vanilla single scoops on a sugar cone and it was so creamy and thick. They have some sweet and savory options as well as gluten free. I eyed some cheesecake and a bacon and cheddar be chèvre cheese quiche. Will be a regular stop for a treat!

Work Party!! Look what my lovely boss brought from @cakesbybsbluehousebakery in Jamestown!!! First off, this savory breakfast quiche had a hash brown crust! Breakfast has been served, m'kay. And secondly, look at the size and girth of these chocolate chip cookies! These babies are delicious. It took me a while to finish this huge, perfectly baked cookie. I can only think about later tonight when one accidentally falls into the microwave and then a scoop of vanilla ice cream lands on it. This bakery is really serving some baked GOODS.

Great staff and super friendly, this place is so nice and cozy, cant wait to come back. The coffee was really good and we tried some brownies and chocolate covered strawberries

I was in the mood for a milkshake and this place was recommended to me by a local. I will definitely say that my milkshake was very good. I got a Nutella milkshake, and since they were out of vanilla, chocolate was it's substitute. I also decided to try a few of their treats. I gotten the Caramel Apple Bar, Zebra brownie, and What The Heck. The caramel apple bar was very good. Soft and delicious. The zebra brownie completely crumbled when I picked it up. It was very, very dry making it difficult to eat. I don't even recall the flavor because I was disappointed. What the Heck has a very cute presentation, but the taste was meh. I'm not a fan of buttercream icing, so this may be biased, but it overwhelmed the flavor of the actual brownie. I scraped it off, and enjoyed the rest with bits of buttercream that remained. I would definitely return for a milkshake, but not sure about the desserts. Perhaps I should hang around long enough to get one fresh from the oven, because that Zebra brownie was terrible.

Man, I am very disappointed with this bakery. I love sweet treats and trying ones in new areas, but I will not come back here. I ate at Full moon oyster bar - right around the corner - and I wanted to end my meal with something sweet. I walked in and it was a cozy little shop. I wasn't greeted when I walked in and the guy behind the counter didn't seem inviting. I ordered a eggnog cupcake ( because eggnog is the best!) and a peanut butter cookie. I left excited to eat them when I got back to the apt. Sincerely, I couldn't have been more disappointed with the items. My cupcake was incredibly dry and fell apart instantly. The frosting was overly sweet and not creamy. And I honestly couldn't tell if the cupcake or frosting was supposed to be the eggnog flavor? They didn't taste like much..but I also did not finish my cupcake. Not worth the calories. My peanut butter cookie LOOKED good. They cooked sugar on top too. But unfortunately, this cookie was dry as well. I did however taste the peanut butter, so that is a win? Overall the cookie was hard and then crumbled when you broke a piece off. I don't recommend going here if you want quality treats.

We were pleasantly surprised by the incredible options available to cure our sweet cravings. The moment we walked in we were greeted cheerfully by a sweet young man helping his dad out for the day (or the summer, as he stated), we were also greeted by the incredible sweet smell in the air. The store was very clean and tidy. With so many options and varieties, we asked for the favorites of the young man, as well as the owner, and based our choices on their recommendations. Everything was DELICIOUS and HUGE! We all had a little something different and tried from each other's orders. I am pleased that we chose to make the stop, visit with the folks in there, and enjoy the treats they had to offer. I was pretty taken aback by how many dessert options they had. Not only did they have a plethora of types of desserts, but they had sooo many flavors/varieties of each one. A dozen different variations of cheesecakes, several cupcake varieties, a dozen different kinds of macarons, several different cakes, tiramisu, tres leches, banana pudding, edible cookie dough, more cookies than I could name, brownies, eclairs, and more that I'm sure I have forgotten. If you can name it, I'm sure they have it. I've been looking for somewhere nearby to get a proper macaron (as opposed to a hard, macaron shaped cookie without the traditional texture) at a reasonable price point. This definitely met those criteria, so of course we tried a flower shaped macaron. It had the perfect, delicate cookie and that classic, light almondy flavor. We also had a brownie batter cookie, which was delicious and reminds me of something I would have saved on Pinterest a decade ago but never gotten around to making, much less as well as they do. Though there was a line inside, we were served super quickly by friendly staff, and found a nice seat outside in the sun. They also had abundant indoor seating. Maybe I'm the last one to hear about Sweet Dough and everyone else has been a fan, or maybe it's a true hidden gem. Either way, I will 100% be back.

It was a bit maze-like, but I have no doubt they sell something in here for everyone. Like the gift shop, the bakery had huge variety. Who knew there were so many types of cake? I ended up getting a carrot cake latte and a heart shaped macaron. It was only after I had ordered my latte with oat milk, checked out (including paying the up-charge for oat milk), and waited several minutes that they told me they were out of oat milk. This was disappointing, as I paid my extra for the oat milk, yes, but also because I don't really want a latte in general without it. Regardless, it was too late, so I just told them to do it with 2%. The latte was okay but I didn't love it. It mostly tasted sweet and like cinnamon. Which I guess is more or less what carrot cake tastes like? The menu said it came with a cream cheese cold foam or whipped cream (I don't remember which) but it came out with plain whipped cream. The espresso was a little bitter - maybe burnt or shocked. The macaron was gorgeous, but didn't have a macaron taste or texture. It was hard like cookie. A macaron should be light and airy, and the shell should almost collapse under a bite. I had to chomp through this one. I am not sure if it was stale, a bad batch, or if their "macarons" are just "macaron shaped cookies" by design.

Between excellent service, from the host to the kitchen staff, and being a bright, cheery place decorated in a modern farmhouse feel (only complaint is the HARD seating), we love this place. The food is always delicious and seasoned perfectly with FLAVOR. For the appetizer, the Salad Pizza is absolutely scrumptious and was recommended by our server our first visit here last year. Honestly, it keeps bringing us back. The flavors are incredible. It has feta, mozzarella, topped with organic greens, shaved onions, tossed in a lemon/dijon dressing with shaved parmesan. It's a flavor bomb in the mouth. The meatloaf, is to die for. If you're a meatloaf eater this is for you. It's so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned. Melts in your mouth and the sauce on top is the perfect blend of sweet and savory to top it off. For my two sides this time I chose the fried brussels sprouts and the greens. The greens are always seasoned perfectly and the brussels sprouts were crispy and full of flavor. They tasted even better dipped in my meatloaf sauce so that was a win-win. My boyfriend had the special which was short ribs. For his two sides, he had greens and green beans. The short rib was perfectly tender and absolutely delicious full of flavor and moist for him. The green beans and the greens were also perfect as well full of flavor, just enough fat and butter. It's a great little date spot or a family dinner. They also have outdoor seating covered with umbrellas.
