Had someone come and give me a second opinion on my Calx Fun today and not only did they point out what I already knew about the outside of it being extremely warped because it was in the sun every corner of the interior flange of the hot tub is work as well and that's probably why the cover doesn't stay on tight and smells very bad. And by the way, the last repairs that were done replacing the lights for $330 they're leaking so please schedule me the repair man back to fix those. read more

Wow- spent over $10,000 on a Dimension One Spa. Have had multiple leaks over the years. Just found out my Dome jet is leaking and was told by two other technicians that I had to deal directly with the Dealer- Cal X Fun Spa to make the repair. Called to make an appointment and just heard back from Cal X that they do not flip over spa's anymore and that I need to call someone else to make the repair- they are the only dealer in the area - what a joke, now I have a $10,000 spa that I cannot use- go somewhere else- they can't repair their own product read more

I purchased my Dimension One Spa The Aurora™ a year ago last February. It was delivered as promised and the crew was more than willing to accommodate me in the set up. I have since had two minor failures. Lights going out. I called the service desk and could not have had a better experience. The Rep scheduled a tech to come out and have a look and in no time he had figured out the issues called back to the shop and reported back me the parts may be out of warranty but they would see what they could do and they would call me as soon as they had word from the factory. To my surprise the very next week I got a call telling me they were covering the parts and labor and when would be a good time to send the tech back out? I was thrilled and still am! The relationship AFTER THE SALE Has been remarkable! They have the kindest most knowledgeable staff in the business in my opinion. This is NOT my first Spa and I did a ton of research before deciding on a Cal-X Dimension One Spa. I could not be happier! I have a older spa and I didn't take care of my spa like I should I use it daily and love it. In this last year I had to replace my motor and this week I had my heater replaced. The knowledge in that store is amazing they taught me how to properly take care of my spa correctly and its not with a huge amount of chemicals. After delivery I never heard a word - no checking if the delivery went ok, if the tub worked, nothing. I bought my spa from Cal-X on melody lane, I have been totally happy with this spa. The service has been outstanding. There was a small problem with the controls getting moisture in them, they were covered by warranty and they promptly came out and put a new one, no charge. This Dimension One Spa is also very economical on electricity. I did not see any difference in my bills from before and after installation of the spa. We purchased our Nautilus spa from Cal-X Spas early in 2011 and love it. I have a bad back and the spa really helps relieve the pain. My wife and I really enjoy it and so did our grand kids. We have had several minor mechanical issues, which is normal, and they have fixed both of them promptly and free of charge (both parts and labor). They stand behind their product. They had to take the spa down a very steep slope to install it and did so without complaint and at no extra charge. Howard and his wife are very service oriented, friendly and knowledgeable. Shut it down for 8 years due to house sale etc. Cal-x fun spas let me store in their facility for a fair price for a few months ,and then to my own storage ,and new house...started it up ,and slowly got the jets to work ,and everything work lie brand new after adjustments etc. Howard was always friendly ,and answering small questions( never acting indifferent) when would come into his shop or call ,and his son also. We purchased our Cal-X spa a few years ago and to this day we maintain a solid relationship with Chuck and all involved with this great, family run company. It doesn't matter if we are stopping to get routine supplies, need advice on settings for the hot tub, or just in the neighborhood and feel like saying hello, this is what customer service and quality products are alike. When we were in the market, we did not know one tub from the other - we went to visit vendors at the fair, different shops, etc. Cal-X was the ONLY company that talked to us about two things 1) what our lifestyle/desires were with a hot tub and 2) the mechanics/parts of the tub and what we could expect. They wanted this to be a match for us, not just sell another tub. We couldn't be happier... in fact, the other night I was relaxing in the tub and watching the stars and remembered all the good reasons why we wanted a tub and all that have been fulfilled, including buying a product from a friendly business that would last us, virtually trouble free, for years to come. We didn't buy a spa here, but we shopped here a few times during our search. Everyone was knowledgeable and answered a lot of questions for us. They carry highly rated brands like Dimension 1 and Marquis. They have been in business for a long time, which gives me confidence that they would be a good business to buy from. The review would be five stars, but they were the only Sacramento area hot tub dealer we visited that had a delivery fee ($300). You can argue that other dealers include that cost in their pricing, but I would disagree based upon my research for the pricing we received. read more

Sure, the hot tubs are great. It's the terrible customer service that makes me never want to come back here. I dealt with the owner Howard Larsen when first coming here. Everything was great! He put my info in the computer, and promised great deals on everything we needed in the future. Cut to a year later. It's time for a new filter. I call the man himself to see what the filter number is so I can price check online. He immediately gets his back up and says "you call me to pick my brain and waste my time? No dawg, I'm not giving you that information!" Then says goodbye and hangs up on me. Also, none of my info was in the computer! He personally put it in! Unbelievable. I've got a few friends that have the same spas, and I'm definitely telling them not to ever go here. Absolutely horrible. Go anywhere else and you'll receive better service! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. On a personal note Howard, unless your selling drugs to children, you probably shouldn't call your clients dawg. You're 80, not 18. read more
