This has been one of the worst experiences for me. We got our spa here 5 years ago. Even then it took almost 5 weeks to get a spa umbrella and they tried to give me a broken one at first. Then we get to present day..... our cover had gone bad and I ordered a new cover BACK IN APRIL!!!! It is now late August..... every time I called I was given the run around and then no one wouldn't back to me. To add to it, when it was delivered, the driver left it without calling me against my solar inverter and fuse box.... Really leave it against the side of my house on electrical equipment, not the best idea. I will not be using them again! read more

So far so good. They were able to provide very good deal on the Bullfrog spa. Owner is very interested in earning your business. Our A7L was delivered in 6 weeks. Following up with the delivery coordinator could be tricky as they don't respond to texts or voicemails until they have received your spa at the dealership. I wish they would come out and give demo of the the product along with testing water and maintenance, good thing all of this is available online but if someone is not tech savvy then it could be bit challenging for them. They should also consider doing final hookup of the electrical to the spa as their competitors provide that service. I would recommend them to my neighbors and use them in the future for sure. read more

I obviously went to the wrong Bullfrog dealer. I purchased at a show, live and learn. I was stuck with THE ROCKET COVER LIFTER which is flimsy and tasking for one person to operate. When inquiring about upgrading to a CM3 they wanted $500 for the lifter and $190 for installation, SMH. I also was told that things might come loose in transport, just give us a call and we will come out and fix it. The poppits that attach a thick layer of foam to the shell came loose and was laying on the equipment as my electrician pointed out. I was told that was not a functional issue and would not warrant a service call. I called the salesman who stated I would have to do the footwork with Bullfrog and get approval for a warranty service. I informed him that was not the sales pitch I received . I was then told the Service Manager would handle the situation and give her a call. Left a Voicemail 2 days ago and still no call back. No resolution on the lifter except for paying a higher retail than Bullfrog themselves list the CM3. EMPTY PROMISES ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY. read more

Well unfortunately my review is much like other reviews here. We purchased our spa on February 21 and were made aware that the spa wouldn't be available and delivered for about 6-8 months. We were fine with that estimated delivery time as delayed deliveries have become common place since Covid. The Passion spa was delivered on August 25. Unfortunately it was damaged, the side panel was dented and a small piece completely broken off the corner panel. First mistake: we should have refused delivery, but the delivery guys assured us that it would be replaced and they even took pictures and assured us they would send the picture to the appropriate department. I hesitated to keep the spa because I was concerned that there may be more damage that we couldn't see. Again the delivery guys assured us that the spas was so insulated that there wouldn't be interior damage, but they did admit that the spa was delivered on its side which isn't normal and that's probably why the panel was damage. Later that day we received a text from Mandy asking how our delivery went. We texted her back and told her that the spa was damaged and that the delivery guys had taken pics and that we want to speak with someone to make sure they got the pics and that the panel and corner panel will be ordered and replaced. Then Jenn jumped on the text and explained that she was waiting for the photos and that she needed to check stock to see if the panels were available. I hear nothing back so I text again on Aug 30 asking what the status is on the panels. I hear NOTHING back! I make several calls and leave voicemails to no avail! I text again on September 8 asking again what's going on with the replacement!!!! Jenn texts back stating that she never received any pics and to now send her pics!! I send the pics and tell her how upset I am and to please call me. Jenn calls and I tell her everything that the delivery guy's told us and about the damage. She assured me that she would order the panels and then get back to me with the details and an ETA of delivery and that when the panels comes in, that the service department would come out and put them on. Sept 21 I've not heard anything back, I text asking if the panels were ordered and if they registered my spa as they register the Passion spa not the owner. I also ask for a manual, the spa didn't come with one!! Once again crickets.... l text AGAIN on September 28 letting Jenn know that we set the hot tub up and discovered more damage. There are 4 "stabilizer bars" at all each corner and one of the stabilizer bars is broken and completely hanging and not being held by the fiberglass. Also one of the LED lights behind the headrest isn't working and again I ask how the replacement order is going. I get nothing, no response...nothing!!! At this point it's just a joke! I text again Nov 8 asking again about the replacement pieces. This time she replies letting me know that the replacement pieces are on their next shipment and she's awaiting shipping confirmation. As of today, December 16, I called and left a voicemail, but I've been down this road before, I won't hear back. In the meantime ALL of the LED lights now no longer work on the spa. It has its own wifi network and we've been unable to hook that up or listen to the bluetooth speakers! Don't even know if they work! No one has ever addressed all the other issues, the stabilizer bar, LED lights, they don't answer your calls, they don't respond to voicemails, they ignore your texts. I have a $13,600 Passion Delight spa that was delivered damaged on August 25 and today December 16, the only thing that works is the heat and the jets, pretty disappointing. My suggestion to you, don't do business here, heed the bad reviews, they sell you a product and you're on your own after that, there's little to no communication, your concerns will be ignored, also don't buy a Passion spa, they are not made in the USA and replacement parts will take a ridiculously long amount of time to get. So now we sit in the dark using our spa, with no music and not even really sure how to use it with no manual and unable to hook up to wifi and no advisement from the place of purchase, just a HUGE disappointment, not very relaxing is it? I feel I've been more than patient, giving them more than enough time to respond and resolve our issues. Enough is enough. Maybe I'll hear from someone after posting this review, it's a pretty sad way to try and get resolution. read more

I have purchased two hot tubs from these guys now. One of them for a rental house about a year ago, and just recently for my new house. I was a return customer because I was impressed the first go around. I'm even more impressed this time... They met their deadline for when I needed my hot tub installed. And then, here's the best part of what they did... we were having some serious weather up in Truckee 2 days from when I called them to schedule a delivery. I called them at 5:30 PM, and they rearranged their entire schedule for the following day and made a delivery at 6:30 AM the very next morning. Now, they are coming back again to install the cover (a crane was needed to get it onto our deck). Worst customer service I e ever dealt with. The owner won't call us back, text us back or even get an email response. We have had our hot tub we purchased from this shady establishment on 11/28. Since we have had it it hasn't worked for almost 3 months. This hot tub started leaking and I mean LEAKING after we had it delivered. We have contacted Tim numerous time since we realized on Easter it is leaking again. He has got to be the worst business man! It took two full months to get our wonderful spa in place and wired correctly. I love it! But there were several missteps. I had to cancel the first delivery date on short notice. That put the company in a bad situation, but after awhile we got another delivery date. That delivery turned out to be a mixup. Wrong tub. And scratched too. While waiting for the company rep to come fix the damage I tried to register the tub. That's when I learned it was the wrong tub. I drained it and got another delivery date. Got the right one! They unconnected the incorrect tub (120v) and connected the new one (240v). I noticed that the heater turned off when I turned on the Jets. My electrician told me they should have thrown a dip switch so that the heater would continue to work when the Jets are on. He said that was the purpose of having a 240 power source. Tatiana had the very nice guy come back. He told me he doesn't usually throw that dipswitch on 240v installs because the motors are not shipped that way. I wish I would have known that earlier. I would also have liked to know the spa is not shipped ready for ozone filtration. I knew very little about spas, but I know a bit more now. Despite a painful two month wait, (and still waiting for a floater that is on back order) they did come through with a quality product. I recommend the Aurora 3. This company is dealing with supply problems plaguing many businesses. They seem to be sincerely trying to meet customer needs. read more

Having researched many spa companies, several phone calls and visitations to showrooms. Finally, meeting Kenny the sales man was nice and very informative. Did not buy that day, but felt this was the best for our space and health benefits. Writing this review for a reason, once the completion of the sale. We were then treated as well, just another sale. Unfortunately, we needed to have the spa serviced within a week of the delivery. About 3 techs came out, it was deemed damaged. After several emails and back and forth. The second spa arrives, and after it's placed in the yard. It's not the one we ordered. The disappointment was unreal.. Later that day, the third and final spa was craned into the yard. Within the 5 hours after filling, several issues had occurred yet again. Buying a BRAND new spa should not have to have 4 people flown in from the Manufacturer to repair and rebuild it. Bringing it to the "latest technology". Yes after several months we have a working spa. Are all the part in, as promised? No.. but the spa works. I am so disappointed that this company takes the "oh well, shit happens" just deal with it. Until you push and push. We never went to the showroom, other than one time. To see the comments from the Owner of this distribution center say out and out lies, is ludicrous. Did we get upset, absolutely!! I'm surprised by the good reviews. We certainly have not had a pleasant experience. We bought a hot tub at an expo at the El Dorado County fairgrounds last March. The only good thing I can say is that they held the delivery until we had our pad poured and the electrical complete. Delivery went fine but that's where it downhill. For 5 months we have been fighting with this store to have our brand new hot tub work correctly. Communication has been horrendous. No follow up ever. Had to email and call repeatedly and it would be weeks for a response at times. Absolutely no customer service. After 5 different "our best tech" will come out - we might have a fix - will see after today. Also they provide no service notes and the techs will tell you one thing and then this company will tell you what the tech said isn't true. Be prepared to record the tech talking if you need service - they gas light . If you have an issue they will say it's the electricians fault and the previous tech - electrician came out three times. Then it was one part or another and still wasn't working - so blamed it on the GFI that had been replaced already. Pretty sure they delivered us a used hot tub or one that had been sitting around. This place does not put the customer first. It has been a nightmare to deal with them and the owner could care less about the lack of communication. In the beginning the salesman was great. Six months later a hot tub was delivered. Door broke first day, blister developed within a month, and very loud engine noise. I called the store and they were very hesitant to help. After many contacts, they sent an employee who inspected the hot tub and confirmed the blister and aforementioned problems. Another six months later, the new spa came and stated it would be another $700 for delivery. I called "Bullfrog"directly and they related bullfrog already paid the delivery fees. Still Sac Hot Tub demanded half the delivery fee despite "Bullfrog" stating they already paid the full amount. I requested the owner to call me numerous times yet I never received call. We even had to pay extra for a crane delivery when there were other options. The tub arrived with water inside, was dirty, and had scratches. I purchased a Broadway Celebrity Hot Tub a a show. I thought I was getting a really good deal but it turned out to be just an OK deal. There were two prices on the spa and I assumed one was the 115v version and the other was the 230v version. I wanted the 230v version. Before delivery I asked for confirmation that it was 230v. Upon delivery I saw that it was 115v. The delivery crew said it was convertible to 230v and he was going to do that except for the actual 230v hook up. Once electrical connections were done we had trouble priming the pump. Tec support talked me through that. We had trouble getting the access door on. Tec support talked me through that. It takes 2 people and a pry bar. I had hoped not to need to get back into it. Finally everything was running. The heat light was shimmering but after a while went solid. The next morning I still had cold water. I am a marine electrician so I did a little testing and checked some connectors and found one that was loose. A few hours later I had water worming up. That night while setting in my new hot tub I found out that the heater would not work at the same time as the high speed on the pump so the water starts cooling when the spa is in use. I did some more research and it turns out you can reset vie a dip switch and with 230v 50amp service get them both to run at the same time. Next thing that stood out to me was the spa jets are not very strong. If you close most of the jets then you can have a good experience in one maybe two seats at a time. The advertising for this Spa says there is a 240v upgrade available, which takes it from 120gpm to 160gpm. I tried to get information from the dealer about this and was told more power would void the warranty and damage the jets. Someone else thought it was a kit you buy to make the upgrade to what I thought I had already bought. I called the manufacture to see what the deal was. First they tell you to contact your dealer. I explained that they had no idea what the upgrade was. They then told me the upgrade could only be done by a licenced electrical contractor. I asked for the part numbers for the conversion? He told me that there are not parts. Apparently it is just rewiring and programing but the information for how to do that can only be given to said contractor. I may be confused but I think next I need to get a licenced contractor on site and then he calls in and manufacture tec support will talk him through it. I think I will really like the spa with more power. I will keep working on this but seems like a lot to go through to get what I thought I was buying. Mike P. read more

BEWARE! DECEPTIVE PRACTICES! I purchased a Bullfrog brand Hot tub from this business in March of 2021 which included a 5 year parts and labor warranty. Well my control panel went out and I notified them and it took them over a month to get the replacement part. In fact I had to hound them to finally get that done. Once they received it they scheduled their repairman to come out but wouldn't give me a window for his arrival so I had to take a full day off work. Their service coordinator Jen was extremely rude about this as well. The real topper to this issue is they informed me that there would be a $299 SERVICE FEE to come out to do the warranty work which is counterintuitive to me since the manufacturer reimburses them for both parts and labor (at $70 an hour). I checked my sales agreement and there was NEVER any mention of a fee for warranty service. So in essence they just want to fleece me and double dip for something are already getting reimbursed for. In essence the warranty means NOTHING. PLUS in the course of talking to the manufacturer I found out that my serial number is not registered to me which makes me think they sold me a used or returned spa. Finally I emailed the dealership a week ago with no response. So now I have an $11,000 hot tub that I cannot use. My advice is STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! POOR SERVICE, DECEPTIVE POLICIES, RUDE SERVICE PEOPLE AND SHODDY PAPERWORK. I am also VERY disappointed with Bullfrog, the manufacturer who did very little to help me with the dealership. Unfortunately we knew after a few weeks we should have gotten a bigger tub, the one we had just didn't work for us. I didn't think we'd have many options, but Timothy really worked with us and we were able to exchange for an upgraded (larger) tub. We had been looking into hot tubs for a while before we decided to pull the trigger on one. My husband and I attended the sac hot tub show at calexpo and found the perfect hot tub for our needs (bullfrog x7) we ended up purchasing one at the hot tub show and had it delivered in January right before a month long snow storm. Come end of March after having to wait for the snow to melt, and pour a hot tub pad, we finally hooked up the hot tub. After a couple of hours we noticed it started leaking :( by the morning it had leaked all the water out. I called and let sac hot tubs know what was going on, they were super nice and helpful and let us know they were going to replace it with a new one right away, and that's exactly what they did! Not everything always goes as planned but I appreciate this business for making it right, right away! We got our new hot tub delivered yesterday, hooked it up and can finally use it tonight! Great buying experience but service is not reliable. I bought a bull frog hot tub back in 12/2020 and it's on its third leak. Service takes a long time, parts don't show up for months and dealer says it's all on bull frog. If that is true, I would never buy a bull frog again or suggest anyone purchase a bull frog when the service is not good and build of the hot tub is poor. read more
