First time coming here and will be back. The staff was very nice and friendly. They came up to us asking how was everything and if we needed anything. Vibe inside was cute and nice. What I like about this place is that give you taste samples. Food: We love everything we got. I love the pork rib very yummy and flavorful. Meat was soft, wasn't dry at all. And the Mac n cheese so good.

Great BBQ spot. We've been here twice now; first time with my family and second time with my in laws. The place is clean and the vibe is great! The service is quick with welcoming staff. The place is spacious with a lot of seating. We ordered the Family for 8 on our first visit and then ordered the Family for 4 our second visit. The food is tasty and delicious! Love love the chili and how tender the meats are. Will definitely be back again!

2nd visit and I was able to confirm the Mac & cheese is supposed to look like this

Quality of service is absolutely unmatched. My first visit was really memorable due to the service received by the staff cutting the meats. They took the time to provide samples and share more detail about the cuts and process. The 2nd visit I was fortunate to chat with the manager and learn more about the Mac & cheese. You can tell that service & hospitality is a priority for management/owners. My only concern is the amount of flies inside the restaurant while eating. It can be challenging to keep them away while enjoying everything. 10/10 will definitely be back!

We were out shopping on a Saturday and I told my wife I was craving Bbq. She went on line and found Caldwell's County Bbq. We weren't quite sure on the way there, but when we arrived , the building and surrounding area were really nice. The restaurant was really nice and inviting when you walk in. The line to order is clearly marked with a huge sign with all of their offerings. The manager( I'm assuming he was the manager) greeted us and explained everything to us. He was really nice and informative. We got to the first counter with the sides and a super nice young man offered us samples of all the sides we wanted to try. We got the Texas Chili, Mac and cheese, baked beans and Potato salad. The next counter has all the meats, we were greeted by a nice man who had a sample of turkey waiting for us. My wife opted for the half rack of St Louis style ribs, and I was lucky and they still had the burnt ends. My wife liked her ribs, said they were a little bit Smokey but overall had a good flavor. My burnt ends were delicious , cooked perfectly. The Texas Chili I could have eaten a whole bowl it was so good. The Mac and cheese was good as were the other two sides. My wife saw a Texas sheet cake so of course we had to try that. Delicious as well. All in all, great experience and will be added to our list of go to places. The WHOLE staff was great!

My husband saw a review by a YouTube content creator. I was at a conference and came home to take out he picked up. I had a little of everything on my plate. Not pictured is Burnt Ends. I had a piece and it was meaty and very tender. The St. Louis Pork Ribs were bought for me but hubby had a taste. A half rack was 2 meals. Aunt Susan's Corn Casserole was tasty. The Texas Red Chili is deliciously seasoned. The macaroni and cheese is excellent. Oh my goodness. I would drive there for that alone. The ribs were tender and tasty. I didn't need any sauce. I am particular with my coleslaw so when I saw it I was skeptical. It had a different taste. It was actually good. When I saw the receipt it's Lemon Poppyseed Coleslaw. I was pleasantly surprised. I understand customer service was great! The food warrants a dine in experience.

Our food from our first in-person experience!

We've visited their Gilbert location several times but this Peoria location is much closer! Great outdoor seating area that's covered and the inside is open and clean. Picking up an online order today for Father's Day was simple and easy. There was a line out the door but they had a dedicated space at the counter for online orders. The family of 4 dinner is the perfect amount of food. Brisket and tri-tip are our favorites. Extremely flavorful and juicy. The sauces are delicious as well but honestly, you can eat the meat plain and have a ton of flavor. One thing I'd like to point out is that the service is extremely good. The lady who helped us with our online order went through the entire bag to ensure everything we ordered was present. She also gave us the complimentary sausage for Father's Day, which I thought was only for in-person dining. Much appreciated! There's nothing worse than getting home and finding out something is missing or incorrect. Our takeout here was perfect and they did not skimp out on portions like some restaurants do with takeout. All in all, my favorite bbq location in Arizona that I've personally visited! Looking forward to their North Phoenix location to open!

The food was delicious. Definitely recommend the prime brisket! We were passing through as a pit stop on a road trip and I'm so glad we did. The service was amazing. They explained the menu very thoroughly and even provided samples of their sides and meat, which is unheard of at a BBQ restaurant. The service is order at the counter then find your own seat. Even though there was no waiter, workers would check in on us to make sure everything was okay. Ambiance was perfect for a summer lunch/dinner.

Go check them out! I'm glad they opened a location in the west valley! I am pleasantly surprised with the options, flavors, and overall service! I got the Family Meal for 8, a quart of Mac n cheese, and 2 jalapeño cheddar sausages. It was quite a spread and my most favorite items were the brisket and the ribs! There was plenty of flavor, strong peppercorn, and everything was well seasoned. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors as well as parking around the location. The service was so friendly and hospitable. You can sample the different items so you know where your dollars are going. I loved how the employees came around to check in on tables and asked if anything else was needed. Overall, I'll be coming back!

Was super excited to try this place. The outside is very nice - large patio area with the tables and picnic tables, fans, and the little table fans to keep the flies away. I appreciated the huge menu when you first walk in the door. We had 6 in our party plus my toddler. We ended up deciding on the family of 8 meal. After you decide what to order, you walk around the wall and there's a counter to order sides. I wish there was another menu there because even though I literally just looked at the menu, I didn't know the sizes, which sides we were getting, or what was happening. It was also Friday evening with a long line so I felt bad. The lady asked what she could get me. I guess I should have told the girl it was our first time? I told her we were doing the family of 8 meal then she said we got the bigger containers of two sides. Then the guy at the other end gave us onions, pickles, and jalapeños. It was just me and my sister so he didn't give us enough, but after I told him we were doing the family meal, he gave us more. And added bread. It feels like the meat counter should be first? Happened again there and the girl asked what we wanted. I told her we were doing the family of 8 then she explained the options. The ordering experience was just weird. We got pork, brisket, smoked turkey, corn casserole, coleslaw, added a smoked sausage link, and got my toddler Mac and cheese. The pork was great. Nice and tender and it paired well with the house sauce. I love brisket but this one missed the mark. It was 80% fat on all the pieces we got, so that was disappointing. The smoked turkey was good. I really enjoyed the sides - the lemon poppyseed coleslaw was surprising, super refreshing and paired well with the meats. The corn casserole was delicious. The jalepeno cheese sausage was ok, definitely would not pay $9 for a single sausage again. My toddler did not like the Mac and cheese. I'm not sure if there were green chilis in it or maybe it was one of the cheeses, but I couldn't find anything else on the menu she would eat. We spent $150 for our family, which is cheaper than if we each got a meat and sides, but still expensive. I'd like to go back to try the ribs and hopefully have a better ordering experience.

Tried another new tasty TX BBQ restaurant today in Old Town Peoria that opened Feb 2026. (I was told). Much closer than their Gilbert location. Another trendy place and dogs welcome on patio. Since the temps are only 96 the patio with misters were very comfortable. Our new favorite BBQ place. Meat, sauces, and sides very tasty. I tried the smoked turkey and you will find it juicier anywhere. The energy from the Sstaff were awesome and makes me want to come back and try other items. They even offered to show us what brisket was being cooked outside.

Merch area - you check out the menu, pick up your bottled/canned drinks, and watch on TV the making of Caldwell famous dishes

Hubby had wanted to try this place for months. And he decided to give it a shot for his birthday celebration! Let me just say - if you haven't tried Caldwell, don't think about it. Do it tonight, do it tomorrow! We love the aesthetics of the restaurant, the delicious smell, and how it is set up (bottled/canned drinks and desserts first - these people know the priorities; then you get your sides, the meats, etc.). Our order included: half rack of ribs, sausage, brisket, burnt ends, potato salad and the corn casserole. For drinks, we tried the mango slushy and Desert Lily (mocktail that is sweet and refreshing). Everything was deliciously satisfying - highlights for us were the brisket, ribs, sausage and corn casserole. The burnt ends were a bit on the dry side for our taste. We definitely are coming back to try the rest of their menu. Cannot conclude this review without giving a shoutout to their amazing staff and wonderful service we had. It felt like a warm hug, or comfort of a home cooked meal (well, with superb BBQ). What a gem!

Visiting from CA and this place was amazing!! The food was delicious and perfect in every way. The customer service was great multiple staff members checking in to see if we needed anything through out our meal. We tried the family meal of 4 and we had a lot of food left over. I would definitely be back. The restaurant has plenty of space to sit either indoors our outdoors as well as a private dining area, Very inviting.

New barbecue hotspot in Peoria. The meats are great, both the lean and juicy brisket are moist and tender, pulled pork is very good, and the ribs had a great bark, moist, nice smoke and fall off the bone without falling apart (the best). The sides are a step above any other barbecue spot I can think of. Texas chili (no beans!) has a touch of heat. Macaroni is flavorful and not at all gloppy. The lemon poppyseed coleslaw with bits of Granny Smith apples is very unique. The lemon was a bit pronounced for me but my wife is obsessed. The corn casserole is also very good. The bar is limited basically to what's on their menu, but what they do offer is good and a bargain. The ambiance is sort of an upscale Rudy's. Did I mention the ribs?!

We decided to try it today for Mother's Day and it was the worst decision ever. I placed my order on the app on Saturday afternoon, for pick up on Sunday at 4:15 PM. I got to the restaurant at exactly pick up time and there was almost a dozen people standing in the waiting area. I finally got up to the counter and gave the girl my name, and she turned around and looked at the table and then said we're working on that. I was very aware that it's a holiday and it was going to be very busy, so I walked in with patience because I knew that I would probably have to wait a little bit. The same couple of people stayed in the waiting area, but there were several that were coming in and out and picking up food as well. It was very confusing. One gal finally walked up and asked for an update on her order, and the girl behind the counter said that they had to fulfill all of their dine in orders first, and they were just now getting started on all of the go orders. I cut in and said, how is that fair to everybody who placed pick up orders for an exact time? Some of us have been waiting here for almost an hour. The girl looked at me and said that they were doing the best that they could, and it's like this every year. If it's like this every year, why aren't you changing and adapting to better suit the needs of the customers who are coming to provide business to you? If it's the same every year, clearly something is not working and there needs to be changed. The girl did not apologize, there was no manager out there to help her at the counter, or reassure the customers that their food was coming. There was zero communication. I finally got my food after about an hour of being there waiting. I was very close to canceling, but it ended up coming out. Mind you, I had a homemade cake in my trunk that was melting. When I finally got to my destination where my family was, we didn't have barbecue sauce, and all of the food was room temperature at best. What a terrible experience and a waste of $100.

This meal was a satisfying all-you-can-eat feast that balances quality meats, traditional Korean side dishes, and crowd-pleasing appetizers, topped by superior service from Jimmy. From the moment the food arrived, the presentation set the tone. The table was quickly filled with colorful banchan (Korean side dishes), including kimchi, cucumber salad, bean sprouts, pickled radish, fish cake, and potato salad. While these sides may seem simple, they play an important role in Korean BBQ, providing contrast to the rich grilled meats. The kimchi was fresh and vibrant, with a bright red color with plenty of spice and fermentation. The appetizers looked like a strong start to the meal. The japchae (glass noodles) were well-seasoned, offering a slightly sweet and savory flavor profile. The gyoza had a crisp golden exterior, suggesting a satisfying crunch before giving way to a savory filling. One standout appetizer was the corn cheese--a bubbling skillet of sweet corn and melted cheese that looked indulgent, comforting, and impossible to resist. The fried chicken also deserves mention; the crispy coating was perfectly golden and paired with a vibrant dipping sauce that added a sweet-spicy kick. The real star, however, was the barbecue itself. The platters of raw meat has excellent variety, with beautifully marbled cuts that promised flavor before they even hit the grill. Steak, in particular, was thick-cut and rich, tender and well-marbled. Once grilled, the meat developed an appealing caramelized exterior with just the right amount of char. There is something uniquely enjoyable about cooking your own food, sharing dishes, and pacing the meal at your own speed. The tabletop grill becomes the center of the dining experience, encouraging conversation and making the meal feel more like an event than simply dinner. The restaurant's atmosphere appears casual, clean, and focused on the food. The grill setup was well-integrated into the tables, and the overall dining area looked comfortable without unnecessary distractions. The emphasis remained where it should be: on the endless flow of food. For the price point shown on the menu, the value appears excellent. The combination of unlimited appetizers, numerous beef and pork options, seafood selections, and traditional Korean side dishes offers plenty of variety. Diners can sample multiple proteins and flavors without feeling restricted to a single entrée. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned Korean BBQ enthusiast, this is a meal worth gathering friends and family around the grill for.

I think coming here once is fun but not sure I'll go back. For $30 a plate, we had NEVER been here…read moreand didn't know what to expect. The waiter showed up looking like he was being held hostage for having to work. I figured everyone's had an off day so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I let him know we had not been here before and asked if he could make sure to explain how it works. I got a mumbled answer about how many pieces you can order at a time. I asked how we will know what each meat is, is it labeled? He said no he'd tell me. The rest was frustrating. Not only did he set the meat down and literally dash away as fast as possible, if I asked what it was I was met with annoyance. When I asked for some forks, for a table of 9, he brought exactly two and then disappeared. When I got up and found someone to ask for forks, I was told I HAD to get those from my server. When I asked if they could just go grab some since he disappeared and wasn't coming back, I was told no. We had to ask him. I finally asked directly if the host could just let our waiter know. We got the forks and after that he seemed to come around more but we just felt like the entire time we were guessing on how it worked. I mean, it's not rocket science I get that but as a table full of people who worked in the restaurant industry (and some who currently still do, even one who's family owns a restaurant) we were scratching our heads at how BAD the service was. $400 later, not worth it even a little bit. It was fine for my daughter's birthday but we just felt like we were bothering the waiter the entire time. They add gratuity to large parties and now I see why. He didn't really need to try, because he was getting the tip regardless I guess.
