Rachel did a beautiful job on my nails for my engagement. I found Cali Chic on the app and they had availability a week before Valentines Day. Their quality and prices are great. My gel manicure was only $35! Rachel suggested the pale pink color since I was having a hard time deciding between a few colors. I am very happy with the results and my nails still look great! The ladies at Cali Chic were very sweet and trying to get it right. My pedicure was pretty good, but no luck with the manicure. I called ahead to make an appointment and asked if they did dip manicures, to which they said yes. It was clear they weren't experienced on dip... I had 4 different people work on the manicure, with gaps of time just waiting. I appreciated how they shaped and cleaned up the cuticles. I got this manicure for a wedding today. After I left to get ready, within 20 mins the first dip popped off. By the end of the wedding, only one was still on. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I get dip all the time and this has never happened. I will be returning tomorrow to ask for a refund. Super disappointed... I do greatly appreciate how they handled this snafu. Great nail salon tucked away on on Highway one in Tam Junction. Lots of easy parking behind the salon. I received a great spa mani pedi and was very happy with the paint job and cuticle clean up. In the months leading up to the big day, I came to see her several times to try out different dip colors and nail shapes. I came here based on yelp reviews and was disappointed. I pointed out an injury and asked them to avoid it and they didn't listen. Eventually I had to say seriously l, stop digging around that nail, it's ok, I don't mind if I have cuticle skin there it's hurt, your opening the skin, stop. And they still kept going. They took 1 hour to remove my gel and file my nails. Then they switched technicians and the second hurried the paint job. I left with paint on my fingers, bubbles and brush marks in the gel and the paint job is uneven. Never again. read more

Service at times was painful when the materials got too hot. They did absolutely nothing to my cuticles, and barely took off the dip I had in prior so the nails were streaky. She also pained with some of the glue stuff for dip on my and around my nails so I had a bunch of hard glue and powder all over my nails. she as in an incredibly rush and did not provide a massage and ended up just rubbing cuticle oil all over my hands in arms using gloves that were still dusted from the powder work. read more

Great place right by my house and this is my first time here! I think people miss it/don't notice it as much as the other nearby nail salons because the signage isn't super eye-catching. I just happened to drive by and look over to see the parking lot in front of it was empty, so I pulled in. The main reason why I get a pedicure is really for the foot massage. This is the first place Ive been to in a while where I got a great foot massage! That's literally the most important thing for me - but my toenails look beautiful too :). I stopped in here a few days ago to get a quick mani-pedi when my regular salon was full. My mani-pedi cost $40 and so far, the polish has held up. I was in and out in about an hour, and the manicurist did a decent job of shaping, trimming, and painting my nails. The salon appeared to be clean, though there was a strong chemical smell in the are due to the polish and possibly someone's gel manicure being done. The only reason I'm not giving this 4 stars is because for the same price, right around the corner, you can also get a mani-pedi that has an 8-minute massage for both your arms and your legs, so I think that they are charging a premium price for a service that's basic. I've been to many salons in the bay area and the $40 price point usually includes a paraffin dip and/or extended massage. With that said, I would come back if my regular place is full again or if I need to get in and out of in an hour -- they were efficiently quick. read more

It's a beautiful little shop, & very clean. Everything is brand new, I like that fresh feeling :-) Attitude - the ladies working there were very attentive Actually, almost too attentive. They were very sweet & eager to please. I can totally see how some people really enjoy that extra catering, but I really just like my mani/pedi time to close my eyes, or read my book. It's one of the very rare "me" times I have in the month and I prefer to disengage from the world (lol) I found that difficult to do here. ... Some people may prefer the opposite. Service - I hate to say this bc they were so friendly and being new in town can be hard to drum up business but this was one of the worst manicures I've ever received. I got an acrylic fill with gel polish. My nails came out different lengths, lumpy, and the polish was applied very streaky. It was not a professional looking job at all. I had to do them over 2 days later somewhere else bc it was bothering me so much. I also asked to have them cut shorter, maybe she didn't hear me, or maybe she didn't understand? Or maybe she didn't want to add more time on to what turned into a 2.5 hr visit. 2.5 hours is way too long. I was the only person in the shop the entire time. I don't know what took that long. My pedicure was good. I will go back for pedicures in the future, but not a fill. The pedicure took about 40 minutes which was great, and my feet & nails were very nice! Location- they're conveniently located in a little shopping strip, very close to the 101 Ramps. Parking was a breeze, there's a lot that was mostly empty with free parking. Prices - very average pricing. I don't remember exactly what it cost, so I know it wasn't anything too low or too high. I want to day around $60 for everything. This place is worth checking out! However, be careful if you need a fill or like gel polish. read more
