Very disappointed. The server was nice, however, three out of our four orders were wrong. One dinner didn't come out until the three of us had already finished. In addition, we had to wait a long time for our simple apps. The chicken served was dark meat and fatty. The bills came to us wrong and, even after two attempts, were still never corrected properly. Finally a tasty and roomy enough place to get a healthy bowl or other snack in South Tampa. While I love the "other" place that is very well known here, getting in and out and seating is a nightmare. This location seems to have enough space to accommodate busy lunch or after work. I have had the bowls 3 or 4 times, the coffee is very nice, and the hummus was great too. Good service as well. Great concept and good tasting food but staff need more training in service and listening to Customers before this will be a really good dining experience. Hot drinks were super slow to arrive and should have been out first. When we ordered, we requested condiments--ketchup and syrup, neither of which arrived with our food, which was not served by our waitress, and the server vanished, and then there was no one around to help. By the time we got syrup, the French toast was...cold. Yum. So were the potatoes for the...cold ketchup. Yum again. And our Utensils has been cleared with the muffin we shared. Um, hello? Funny thing, we went back the next day for that gooey muffin...but it was served WITHOUT THE GOOEY FROSTING. THE WAITRESS had the temerity to tell us "every muffin is different and it's not put on top it comes out of the middle" which is complete BS. She forgot it. I asked the hostess. So, stop the storytelling! Don't serve one of your house specialties without the gooey topping! BAD IDEA! It takes forever to get the check, and they have really cute t-shirts that they should sell, especially since they are trying to launch the place. In three stops in about them, still couldn't get an answer about one for my niecVery disappointing. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to take a break from errands and shopping and grab a bite to eat. It was our first time here and we were very pleased. Service was pretty quick and our server, Mariah, was great. She was fun, possessing a good sense of humor without trying too hard. We asked for her recommendations (thai bowl and another whose name I've forgotten but it had seared ahi as the suggested protein) and they were both terrific, and we're glad that we put the spicy stuff on the side. A little of that goes a long way for us. They offered some tasty cocktail selections and even though there wasn't a large beer menu, they had a nice selection, quality wise. At the end of the meal, a manager walked up to us and said that Mariah told him we were first-timers, so he gave us a chocolate cookie that was amazing! Loved it. The food is always amazing. However, I ordered the Sparta burrito with lentil bites, and I received an entire helping of chicken. I haven't eaten meat since 2011 due to health reasons. I was shocked and saddened that I consumed some of the burrito with chicken. I choose not eat meat, and unfortunately it was forced upon me. For vegans and others who do not want to consume meat, please check your food. Other than this mishap, the food is amazing. I spoke with the manager who apologized profusely. read more

I love Tampa's fast casual options and I think Ciccio Cali might be my favorite. It's easy to eat healthy here. We've had several of the bowl options and all are incredible. My favorite is the Mexican. Parking is easy and they serve wine, A+. read more

Awful experience at cali today..i.ordered the buenos aires bowl, the potatoes and sweet potatoes in it came completely raw uncooked, so i sent the order back and recooked it, they took 20 mins to resend the order, but potatoes were still uncooked and avacodo rice was very oily...i duno how they put uncooked stuff in the bowls, how is it even possible, dont they precook stuff and keep..anyways awful experience..hope they learn from their mistakes read more

I ordered the Spicy Brazilian Bowl and honestly it was Ah- Mazing !! BUT we ordered off UberEats and saw that the prices was different okay - we get it . Higher NOT less . Our food came on time and the Uber driver didn't get out the car to hand me my food okay i get it. Moving Forward, I look in the bag NO Napkins or Utensils ! If we went to the restaurant and received the full experience we would've saved $20 and I'm sure you probably would've provided us with utensils and napkins without asking because that just makes sense right ? I like the food though at times they tend to be out of something on the menu. But very disappointed they switched to table service on weekends and nights. Went with my family and enjoyed the fast and casual setting. But the dynamic changes with the waiters and our 3 experiences after the change have been poor and the last one took it off our list of lunch spots --one of our orders was wrong so 3 of us ate our meals while the other person had to wait another 7-10 minutes for theirs. Which happens but no adjustment on the bill? And this was already after they were out of pita but still charged for the avocado hummus when the manager offered veggies instead. read more

So for 2 years i had the ahi pike bowl in brandon, every time, no exceptions. Tried it at mabry location and was so disappointed. For one the tuna was so gissely or veiny or whatever the term is for chewy. Next the spag squash was overly garlicy and did not mesh with the asian flavors and lastly there were too few onions and sirachi mayo on top. My daughter got the noodles with itslian toppings. They should have mentioned that they are semame oil seasoned And did not go with the itslian toppings. So that said, may try again with other bowls. Delicious food in a lovely, relaxed environment. I took a gf from out of town and we both were happily surprised. From the filtered water, self-serve carafe filled with mint leaves to the "bowls:" build your own, to the pizza, to the friendly and thoughtful wait staff (Kala was excellent: helpful, not rushed and well versed), our taste buds as well as stomachs were happily satiated!! This has quickly become my favorite place to eat. My first experience was about two months ago where my gym gifted me a 10 dollar card to try it and when i did i fell in love. My experience was so great i recommended them to my job for catering and we started using them. Everyone who has tasted this wonderful food has raved about the deliciousness and the freshness. We are obsessed with everything to the point we have ordered it everyday for three weeks in a row. There are so many choices it is endless all you can match together. We have further served it to our clients who have also fallen in love. As if the food was not fantastic enough, the service from everyone in the establishment is superb all the way to the delivery people. I have been working with Lucy in specific on my catering orders, she is phenomenal, there are no words to describe her dedication and professionalism. I absolutely think this is a five star restaurant and so do many others whom have come in contact with this deliciously wonderful place. Oh and please try the cookies, they are to die for honestly. Use to really enjoy Cali, but losing my desire to keep coming back. We typically order "to go" for pick-up. Last time I ordered, food was 10 minutes behind schedule. Worst part is everything was ready except one wrap. So by the time it came out and then we got home all the other food was no longer hot, more like cool to barely warm. Additionally that last time I was there I asked for some additional sauces and they told me I could indicate that under the "customize feature" when ordering. So tonight when I ordered I used that guidance, problem is only two of the four items I ordered had a "Would you like to customize" option and there are no boxes to add any instructions or requests. So I customized the two that I could, went through the whole process, selected the sauces, updated my cart and went to checkout only to get an error saying that the two dishes I customized "weren't able to be customized at this time". Mind you, they had a "would you like to customize" button ready and willing to let me customize. So now the only way I could get back to checking out and being able to get to the credit card entry screen was to go back and edit my order and eliminate all the customization. So the online ordering system completing conflicts itself AND contradicts what the staff told me to do in person. So I finally place the order and it is supposed to be ready at 6:17pm. I arrived at 6:23pm noting that last time the food was 10 minutes delayed so I purposely arrived a little late to be safe. Well tonight it was 15 minutes delayed so I once again had to wait. While waiting I asked the "to-go" clerk about the problem with the customizing an order on the online ordering platform and he said well, sometimes technology just doesn't work. Not the answer you really want to hear. He does offer to get me the sauces I wanted and makes a written note of them and says no problem. So after once again waiting the 10 minutes for my food, I finally get my bag and pizza and head home. Upon arrival I see that NONE of the sauces made into my bag. WTH??? So I must ask Cali, why should I come back a third time and expect anything different? It is very frustrating when you drive 13 minutes each for "to-go" food because the food is usually very good, but time and time again have a bad online ordering and customer service experience. read more

My husband ordered takeout for dinner. He ordered my dish and my sons perfectly online but somehow he fat fingered on the iPad and picked the wrong one for himself. He wanted the Lean and Clean and somehow picked one for himself that had bleu cheese on it. I told him to call and explain and he was mortified and just wanted to order another so he didn't have to explain. Mommy always wins- he called. Zack the manager spoke to my husband and said "Of course, no problem. We can replace it". Naturally my husband made me pick it up bc he didn't want to show his face.
