I came in a few months ago to get my car fix after an accident. My front and back bumpers needed to be fixed. The customer service was great and the guy who helped me throughout this process was fantastic. However, when I came to pick up my car after it was done, the original guy who help me wasn't available so an older guy who appeared to be the manager or owner helped me out. He wasn't a very attentive person and obviously didn't know what was worked on my car and barely skimmed through my chart to give me what I had already known. It was pointless to talk to him. Anyways, after two months of getting my car fixed here, I had to get my oil changed. The person changing my car oil noticed that there were a few zip ties and some of which were thinning out, holding the engine splash shield to my car. This was very concerning so I immediately brought my car in to have them look at it. Apparently they stated that clips that held the shield was missing and so they used the Zip ties to hold it up while they worked on the front bumper. The zip ties was never removed after the bumper was completed and so when I took it back in, they offered to fix it. I'm glad it was fixed before the whole shield came off and caused any damages. I glad they corrected their mistake but it was just very frustrating to go back for their unfinished work. read more

Having to get my car repaired after an accident is no fun. The employees there went above and beyond to get me in and out quickly with excellent customer service! The main person helping me there was Sterling. I dropped my car off on Monday and got it back Friday as promised. When I went to pick up my car on Friday, I only had cash on hand with no other form of payment. I forgot that they didn't accept cash. Sterling took me to buy gift cards with my cash in his personal vehicle! Then when we get back to the dealership, we found that the cards were not yet active and could take up to three hours to work! He used his personal card to pay my balance and I gave him the gift cards! Then when I get to my car, it has been washed, vacuumed, and detailed! Oh yeah also the gas tank was full. I was rear ended and took my car to this place to fix it. When it was returned, the rear quarter panel was not aligned properly and my car, a 2005 Honda, squeeked from the rear end like it was an old automobile. They told me that the rear bushings were wearing out but would not give me anything in writing. I then had the dealership inspect the car and it turns out that my rear arms and suspension were broken. I had the dealership fix the repairs and when i called the customer service rep for Caliber and he downgraded the situation and told me that they did not do alignments there. What kind of an auto body and repair place misses something as big as a cracked suspension....Save your time, money, and headaches and go somewhere else. read more

Well I was going to give three stars after the regional manager called me and apologized for the incident that happened at this place, but after i got home, I reviewed the paperwork and realized that someone at caliber collision had taken my car for a 17 mile joy ride. The repairs were ok but the experience was piss poor. I was called on a Monday that my car was ready for pick up. I couldn't make it on Monday because i had to work, so I went on Tuesday. With only 15 min to spare before work (I work graveyards, 12 hour shifts) money in hand, they would not release my vehicle, because they didn't have the paperwork right on there end. NO ONE at Caliber Collision would take responsibility, as they kept telling me it would be ten more minutes. Being now 45 minutes later, i was late for work, so i left. I don't know what made me more upset, the fact that nobody at that shop wanted to take the responsibility for the paperwork being sent to the wrong place or the fact that my car had 17 more miles on it when I got it back. I took my car in for repair at this place. HUGE mistake. I was rear ended by a woman who hit me at about 20 MPH. ALL THEY DID WAS REPLACE THE BUMPER. They made no attempt to fix the bent frame under it. I took it to another body shop and when he took the bumper off i was appalled by the damage that they tried to ignore. the black trim that goes on the bottom of the back bumper was half on half off. because the bumper was not an original part it was a poorly fitted after market part. The bad reviews were right. After taking car here, check engine light came on. Service advisor Sergio didn't want to help the situation at all. Took the car to jiffy lube because service advisor insist it's an oil change. Nope it wasn't. Took it to Nissan, it was because of their workmanship. On my 3rd time here, was finally helped probably because it involved a higher authority within the company and there were other customers in lobby, that they clearly didn't want them to witness how poorly they treat their customers. My bill will now be sent to my insurance for reimbursement. Something that could of been resolved so easily by this company the very first time. Instead they had me run all over the place upset, trying to figure out what to do about the problem they caused. Everytime I came in, service advisor basically gave me excuses and gave me the boot. To top it off, my 2nd time returning, there was a man in rage in the lobby because clearly something was wrong with his car as well. And while waiting in the lobby I overheard a few ppl calling in complaining as well to their receptionist. Smh. This is so wrong! If your insurance sends you here, demand to go to another place, it's highly likely you might be treated like me. Save yourself from the run-around and possibly more issues on your car. Was hit by a truck and his insurance company sent me here to repair a damaged hood and headlight. Insurance also paid for three days worth of a rental car. Caliber ended up getting the wrong part in and it took an additional day but they agreed to pay the extra day of the car rental if the insurance did not cover it. Stopped by Calibre Collision for a simple estimate. Walked in, I was never greeted. One gentleman behind the desk looked at me as if I was bothering him. He asked if there was anything I needed? I brought my 2017 Explorer in for a self pay repair and was happy with the work done except for the not so goo 'touch up' on the bumper and an ignored promise by the estimator to 'straighten' the exhaust pipe trim at no charge. Caliber Collision is the worst auto repair shop I have ever experienced. They had my truck for over 6 weeks. said they couldn't get parts., I found the parts on line in one day. When they finally returned my truck they said it pulled really bad to the right and told me it must have been like that before they repaired it. When I was driving home I couldn't keep the truck on the freeway. I hit a little grove in the road and the truck changed lanes without me steering it. I called them and they said they didn t know what was wrong with it. I took it to a front end shop, they jacked it up and found the tie rod was bent. It cost me $1000 to fix it. I have a 4 wheel drive but I never use it. A while after I got the truck back I put it in 4 wheel drive and when I turned right the front wheel locked up. Found out the axle was damaged. When they checked the transfer case it was bone dry, it had a crack in the case. I would think that because the impact of the collision was to the front right wheel they would have checked the axle, tiel rod and transfer case. I would never recommend this shop for anything. I am a huge customer service person. I think that people lack good customer service, but the peope at Caliber collision were the best i have seen in such a long long time. Before i could even get my car in they were on it, wanting to get it in sooner. When i got it there everything was thoroughly explained and even said he would have it ready 4 days earlier than expected!!!!!! I didnt have a rental so this was essential. I had to go in once to get something out of my car and DAVID was extremely professional and kind. When my car was ready one day later than hoped ANTWON apologized multiple times but i ensured that i was extremely thankful that it was ready so fast and he made my car look brand new!!!!!!! Repairs went well and they really took care of me so it seemed. There is no reason why paint where the car was worked on should start peeling 6 months later. Don't do it!! Just don't! Especially if you care for your car. I decided to give this place a chance after reading the mixed reviews, plus the fact that my insurance offered $100 off my deductible to go to one of their 'preferred' locations. I now regret it 100%. Before my car went in: It was hard to get return calls at first (before my car was in the shop) to get status of the parts that were ordered. Finally, after almost 2 weeks I called again and asked after all this time why aren't the parts in, someone finally realized that the parts were already in!!! They wouldn't say when they arrived. As my car was in: I called a couple times checking status as I knew it would take 3 days to repair. Sergio's did a fine job updating me. Their 'text updates' is just stupid and useless as it doesn't give any updates until it's done. Picking up my car: Was supposed to be done on a Friday but due to "damage" done to my rim during alignment, had to wait until Monday. When I picked up around 5p on Monday, I signed, reviewed repairs, gave them the insurance checks, then drove off. THEN my car started bouncing as I drive over little bumps. Long story short, I took it to the dealer to inspect. Caliber locked up my struts. When my insurance inquired and requested to get them fixed, they said no and it was due to wear and tear! I have an older luxury car, but have never had this problem or symptoms before my car went in, even after the accident. Sergio did do a good job answering my questions and calling me back when requested and the exterior repairs were done fine. Now I have to attempt in getting my insurance to get the almost $1k struts fixed because of their mess up!! Never again! read more

I was a little worried to take my car here because of the reviews but out of all the places that were on their list this one had the most decent reviews. I asked people as well and the people I asked had nothing but great thing to say about this place. I only worried because my deductible was extremely high and I didn't want to pay and have problems.. Needless to say this place went above and beyond my expectations!! To be honest, I really didn't have any expectations, I just wanted my car back in one piece with no problems. Not only did I get my car back when they said I would but it's beautiful and the detail and craftsmanship is awesome! I was worried about paint drips or crappy detail, but nope it looks awesome, paint matches exactly, panels and bumper looked brand spanking new. Almost makes the rest of the car look blah. Chris was the person who helped me and he was awesome. They consistently checked in with me and were very good about explaining the process and what to expect. Not only did Chris keep in contact but the front desk ladies also followed up. The process was easy from start to finish. Not to mention their work is guaranteed for life on the items that were fixed. BONUS!! And the gurantee is in writing!! So I am sorry some people have had bad service here, I really am, but I have nothing but great things to say about this place and their employees. If I could give less than one star I would. I was rear ended by someone going maybe 20mph and the damage was to the right end of the bumper and back right wheel. I had never been in an accident before and my insurance recommended this place for a Subaru so it was towed to Caliber. It took them over five weeks to fix my car, which all in all would be fine but they wouldn't give me any information. After a week I heard nothing from them and called and they said that they would call back the following Tuesday. Well Tuesday rolled around and I heard nothing from them. I called Wednesday and their service adviser spoke to me and basically just told me they were working on it. They wouldn't give any details about specifically what they were working on and only said they would call back the following Tuesday. The following Tuesday rolled by and still no call. I called Wednesday again and the same thing happened. 3 weeks later they said it would be done on a Thursday. I call Thursday and they said it would be done Tuesday. I call Tuesday they said it would be done the next Thursday. I have never felt so out of the loop and couldn't get any details about what was taking so long or what they were working on. Every time I called they would tell me it was being painted but I highly doubt it took them over five weeks to paint my car. When I finally picked up my car I immediately noticed a vibrating/rattling sound coming from the repaired area. I called back and my service adviser was never available when I was and nobody would look at my car so I finally drove it in two weeks after I had picked it up and wouldn't leave until they looked at it. They drove it around the parking lot without me in the car and said they didn't hear anything wrong. Of course they didn't! They aren't used to how my car sounds and I noticed it right away! They wouldn't let me drive with them to point it out and were rude the whole time. After ten minutes of arguing that they weren't even giving it a fair look I took my keys and drove to the Subaru dealership in our city. They sat in the car and within 30 seconds of driving they had me make an appointment because something was wrong. The front desk women were extremely kind but that's the only positive thing about this place. I had my car repaired at caliber after my accident. the large work and paint was okay but under the hood there were a dozen body clips that weren't reinstalled and the front fender piece keeps popping out and I have to pop it back in. So the little things that devalue a car is what happened at caliber collision. My son took his Prius in to have the front and rear bumpers replaced and the work was just terrible. The rear bumber was missing a rubber part on the bottom left side and the same part for the right side was not installed correctly. Also the bumber was not attached to the car on the left side. The front bumber was also not attached correctly and a part was missing. Then they gave him a bid 1.5 times the origional bid to complete the work. Just a completely unacceptable job and they were not even bothered by it. Absolutely do not go here for your car repairs. You have been warned. read more

Didn't really know what to expect since it was my first time getting into an accident. A relative recommended Caliber and so I went with them. The person who did the estimate on my car was busy whenever i went in and I never got updates on my car even though I requested it and I had to use up my work time to make the calls to keep updated which was I was trying to avoid and wasn't very convenient for me. On the day that I went to go pick up my car, my representative was taking a while to come out to show me to my car (I imagine because he was really busy) but David offered to help me out with no hesitation. Made sure I was good with the quality of the work. Was very friendly and helpful. I then took the car home and found out that the alternator was broken and so called them back up and David took care of me all the way, even got me a rental out of his own pocket so that I wouldn't be carless meanwhile they were switching out the alternator. He kept me updated all the way. Honestly was going to give like 3 stars because of the service I was given at first (customer service means a lot to me) but David honestly made up for it. read more
