Someone backed into me June 20th in a parking lot claiming they didn't see me, leaving a very small dent on my quarter panel in the back of the passenger side. My insurance referred us to come here and I dropped off my car June 23rd. I explained to Brian how I was moving out of state and my car needed to be shipped on July 6th and I was also going to my hometown June 25th to visit family before I moved. After looking at my car, he said it was minor damage and that it would be done fast, not to worry about anything, and that I could leave the car there while out of town and that I would be able to pick it up when I got back July 5th. The morning of June 25th before my flight, we got a call from Brian that my car would be finished in about a hour and I received a text while on the plane that my car was done. My insurance company was also told my car was finished. After being out of town for a week and a half the moment I got out of the airport, I got a ride to Calibers Collision to see a sign on the door stating they were closed July 5th after communicating with me I would be able to pick it up. The next day I got another ride to Calibers and said I was picking up my car, when Brian told me my car was not ready and that it was "in paint" and they tried to do a paintless dent repair but since prior work there was done before they had to take it apart. He also asked who told me my car was done and I told him that he called me and I got a text when he responded "oh the automated text". I told him, my car was supposed to be shipped that day and he told me it should be done in the next two days. We asked him to release my car to find the inside of the back passenger door not put together, and pieces of my car in the trunk and while waiting for it to be released he told me "it just needs to be painted". The way this was handled was not professional at all and was not a very trustworthy or reliable experience. I should have been updated on my car especially if I was told it was done being worked on and ready to pickup. This all happened while in the process of moving and I made sure that was communicated the whole time through. If I could give this place no stars I would. I brought my car in for an estimate. I was referred to come here by the insurance company representing the person who hit my car. Probably my first mistake. They are trying to get away with doing as little as possible to fix my car and even stating some things on my car are pre-existing. Even though I supplied pictures of the other persons vehicle. If you get Brandon for your estimator mostly likely he won't be of any help. And he will just pass you on to someone else. He answers all questions indirectly. And acts like he could care less about my concerns or dissatisfaction. I will make sure I can tell whoever I can to avoid this place. Initially I was absolutely thrilled with my service last week. My main point of contact was with John, who was wonderful. However, what I found in my glovebox today has made me completely reevaluate my experience and I will not be returning to Calibur in the future. I have a bumper sticker on the back of my vehicle that says "how you behave is more important that what you believe". Pretty non-offensive, I thought. But then I found a handwritten note in my glovebox with a Bible quote (John 14:12-15) at odds with the sentiment of my bumper sticker. I find this to be completely, utterly, totally inappropriate. I did not go to Calibur for lessons in religion. If your employees want to spread gospel, they should do it on their off time or find a new job. read more

I don't often post online reviews, but my experience at Caliber was so horrible that I do want to warn others to avoid this shop. Know the law that you can choose any body shop for your repairs and you do not have to go where your insurance suggest. I regret trusting my insurance company's recommendation and am surprised by the number of positive reviews for this shop. After an accident, I had damage to the front of my car from the quarter panel to front bumper and grill. While the initial repair was done within the time frame they originally quoted, the car had extra paint splatter on it when I went to pick it up, and several issues that required me to take it back to have them redo many of the repairs, including: Cracked headlamp, loose part under grill, cracked under shield that was not repaired originally, wheel well liner was installed over wheel trim, new wheel trim was loose and coming off after 2-3 days. The second set of repairs was only supposed to take a few hours, which turned into overnight and then over a week. They wanted to blame everything on the parts not fitting or getting delayed in transit. Then, when I want to pick up my car the second time, warning lights were on the dash panel, so they had to take my car back yet again to fix it. Overall, the staff was friendly, but this shop seems like they are taking on too many repairs at once and are overworked. Their quality control seems very low, and my impression is that they are working for volume, using as cheap of parts as possible. Overall, I would strongly urge anyone to consider a different body shop than Caliber. read more

After REALLY denting up the back hatch of my minivan, I took my car to this Caliber Collision location. I met with Kevin Hinton, and he was amazing. Immediately, I was put at ease and knew that I went to the right place. They helped me take care of everything from dealing with the damage, insurance forms, and all the way to my rental car. Within just a couple of days, my car looked brand new again. Kevin took great care in walking me through everything that was done and made sure that I was happy before leaving. Caliber Collision just made a new customer. Living in Arizona, the chances of needing a collision repair company is very high. Yesterday I had a minor collision and caused the fender of my Toyota Tacoma to be out of alignment. There was no paint damage, no dents, just "popped" the supports out and as I say- the fender was misaligned! I went to Caliber hoping to find that it would be only a minor repair without a lot of damage. I fully expected to pay for the labor to have it fixed. It is true that my vehicle was there less than an hour, but in this world, I expect that there will be a charge! I am totally pleasantly surprised that they did this kind deed feee of charge- NOW THAT is IMPRESSIVE! I was rear-ended on the 101 a few weeks ago and the insurance company for the person that hit me recommended this location, which was convenient to my home. The initial quote process was quick and I decided to move forward with the repair work there as well. Within a day or two they called and told me that their initial estimate had been updated now that they had removed panels and seen the additional damage done. The process ended up taking a full two weeks, but they sent me text messages throughout the process to keep me updated. They ended up finishing the work a little early and when I got the car back it looked like it had never been in an accident at all. Definitely great work and customer service! Hopefully you won't need their services as well, but if you do, they are worth looking into! read more

UPDATE: I initially gave Caliber a 3 star review as described below. After posting the initial review, Kevin notified me within 24 hours to resolve the issue. He had the panel for my door right away and installed it in my car as soon as I could get up to the shop. Great experience overall and would recommend. Initial: I first want to say that I overall had a really great experience. Brandon Mueller was my service advisor and did an EXCELLENT job. I highly recommend him. I brought my car in for a quote and was able to leave my car there so I wouldn't have to drive it back to get it repaired. He kept me apprised of my vehicle's status, and was able to accommodate my needs when dropping it off and picking it up. The customer service at the shop was on point too. I picked up my car about a week and a half later, and my car was about as clean and looked as when I first bought the car, thanks to Brandon. I saw no indication of a front fender bender. I would've given a 5 star review if it wasn't for what happened next. Several days later, I noticed a panel missing on the front passenger door, behind the inside door handle. All of the bolts are exposed. I called the shop, and was directed to Kevin. He asked me to bring my car in so they can look at it, but living 40 minutes away, he said I could just text him a picture of it instead, and he would get it ordered for me. I texted him a picture the same day, which was on April 11, 2016. It is now May 24th, and I have yet to receive any sort of response. I have not received a text reply, phone call, email, or anything. I'm not sure what to do to get this panel for my door. read more

I've been going to this place since it was known as Crown Collision, and they've been doing the bodywork for my families cars since 2002. Ownership may have changed, but I'm here to tell you Marissa and everyone else is still there, still doing a fantastic job! They have always been very professional, very polite, and kept me informed on my auto body work. Early last year I had door panel fall on the drivers side, and it was the dickens to get out of my car. I took it to them, and they had the part in and fixed it within the hour. I thought I had posted my review then, but for some reason it didn't take. A few weeks ago I was rear-ended on the 101 (no surprise, right?). I had some minor damage to my rear bumper cover, and was concerned about any damage underneath. Caliber coordinated with the Enterprise care rental nearby on baseline, and I was able to drop off my car on Monday, and by Wednesday it was ready, looking better than new. When I picked up my car I left my rental at Caliber, and everything was taken care of. I have had all of my repairs done at this location (the name has changed) and will continue to use them in the future. This past service, I asked them to do the insurance covered repairs, in addition to collaborating with another company for me, to upgrade my rims and tires. The photos i witnessed being taken for an estimate to repair damages to my vehicle were lost, and/or claimed never to have been taken, and the estimate was sent in not even a remotely timely manner. Despite repeated corrections, staff continuously claimed incorrectly i was going through Geico insurance. I regret ever driving onto the lot. We took our truck to Caliber Collision after my husband was in a accident.He was rear ended on the freeway and pushed into the truck in front of him. We had damage on the front and rear. I will be totally honest, we only went to Caliber Collision because the insurance adjuster was at this location, I had done some research and felt like I found the place to take the truck and it was not here. We have a custom paint job Mat Black ( and we are VERY picky on who I take my vehicles too). My husband took it and called me and said that he really was impressed with the whole experience. He said that they had two of their top painters come out and look at the truck, they admitted it was not going to be easy to get the paint to match, but they would do test runs with pain and different spray guns and try to get it to match ( we were able to give them the name of the paint ). After conversation with the paint guys my husband told me, I really think they will try there BEST, maybe we should just do the repairs at Caliber. We picked up the truck today and can I just say we are so so IMPRESSED they did a EXCELLENT JOB!!! I don't think that anyone would know that it was re painted they nailed it. We are beyond impressed with the job they did! Not only was the paint great but they also kept us updated and only had the truck for 8 days and that included the weekend. I was rear ended the evening before Thanksgiving, the beginning of a 4 day holiday. I googled and chose a place close by. I like to keep my business in my neighborhood. When I showed up Monday morning I was told they couldn't tell me when they would be able to even start on the car. It was a 2016 Honda Accord with barely 3,000 miles on it and in sad shape. I was still getting to know her. Before the rental car company picked me up I was making calls to my insurance company and Caliber Collision listed as a authorized Honda repair facility. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received then on. My car was picked up and towed to Caliber Collision before noon that same day. Caliber had the capacity to start on my car that day. Brandon Mueller, the entire staff actually, were just awesome. I was kept informed daily by email and phone. When I called or emailed with a question I had a response in no time. They were thorough to the point of very impressive. They had a report to State Farm before the end of the week, the car was totaled and I was car shopping by the weekend.
