The hood and front fenders of my 32-year-old Accord badly needed to be repainted due to oxidation. I'd never had a significant repaint done before and didn't know what to expect. When I got my car back, in only two days, I couldn't believe my eyes. The paint tech did the equivalent of a magic trick in matching the factory color, taking the age of the car into consideration. It now looks better than it did when I bought it from the original owners. I still can't believe it and have been showing it off whenever I get the chance. Caliber Collision is located at 21800 Bellshire Avenue Hawaiian Gardens, California 90716. I have been looking for a place to have my Honda given a little facelift. The Sun in California does damage to cars after a few years to the hood and trunk area. I was checking to see whether it was worth doing. I talked to some friends and they thought that I should just go ahead and get an estimate. I had heard of caliber Collision when I lived in the Cerritos area a few years ago. They had a great reputation. I made an appointment for a consultation and estimate. I talked with Alex and decided on a course of action. He thought I would be pleased with the results if he would repaint the hood. I decided to make an appointment to have the work done. I dropped my car off on the designated day. He figured it would take from 3 to 5 days depending upon weather conditions. When I received the call that the car was finished, I wasn't sure what to expect when I stopped in to pick it up. I was absolutely amazed my old car looked better than it did when I purchased it. I was not the first owner. I walked around the car and told them how happy I was with the service that I received. Everyone had been friendly and helpful. I found the price reasonable, especially considering the outcome. Lisette was very helpful in trying to reach the Adjuster assigned to my claim because the other driver's insurance had the wrong car on the claim! Got rear ended and though it wasn't as bad of a hit this time, there was still minor damage to my rear bumper and I thought my car had a leak, which wasn't a thing before. My insurance referred me to this location which is close to me. I've been to the location in LB and both of these locations had excellent service. Moises inspected my car and reassured me my car was going to be okay (the leak scared me because my last car got totaled so I'm traumatized). I got my car back pretty quickly and it's back to normal! These guys are scammer. They look for the most expensive parts and after I had to salvage my vehicle because of their ridiculous estimate. When I went to pick it up they tried to keep my perfectly good headlight that they were trying to charge 750 for a new used one. The OEM price is 150. read more

Quality doesn't begin or end with parts, labor and a great repair at this shop. The people, specifically Ana, make you feel like you're at home with family. I drove up and was greeted by a very nice mechanic, who helped me open my door (that was closed using an extension cord), and guided me to the lobby to be helped. All while smiling at me. When Ana came out to meet with me, she smiled, shook my hand and asked if I was okay. She walked with me to my car, looked at my door for a while, and explained everything she was looking at so I wasn't confused. Ana then asked to drive my car to the garage, so someone else could look at it. Less than 5 minutes late, she drove my car back to me, and my door was fixed. I cried, because I had been to one shop that gave me an estimate of $2,100 and only $500 was for parts and labor to fix the door. The rest would have been for paint and body (that I did not want).
