I was side swiped by a semi truck trailer on the freeway. My left side of my Hyundai Santa Fe had a deep scrape from the rear bumper all the way to the front bumper. Rear panel, passenger door, drivers door, front left panel were all scraped. Even both wheel wells were scraped. (See Photos). I met with Angel at Caliber Collision who worked up the estimate. I had a couple rear bumper chips so I asked for an estimate as they were not part of the hit and run. Angel said they would take care of the chips because the bumper had to be painted anyway. When I picked up my Santa Fe, it looked brand new!! Caliber Collision even had my SUV ready 2 days early! I rate Caliber Collision 5 Stars across the board! I received regular calls on the update of repairs and even texts giving me updates as well. The staff were all professional, friendly, and we're very helpful. Steer clear of this body shop if you don't want to be overcharged and subjected to fraud! I recommended this shop to someone who had an accident because another location had recently repaired my vehicle, and I had a good experience. Boy was I wrong! This person merely needed a front bumper replacement on a 10+ year old vehicle and they wrote an estimate for over $3700! Not only did they write for things that didn't need to be repaired but they didn't even bother to look for like, kind and quality parts, which is what a 10+ year old vehicle should have-not brand new! They wrote to replace a headlamp assembly that had ZERO damage along with included parts that needed to be replaced that also weren't damaged. DO NOT trust this location - do your homework. Make sure you get a valid estimate for what needs to be done on your vehicle. My friend went to another body shop; damage damages and the final estimate was $1500! read more

The 1 star is for repairing the body damage on my truck. The -4 stars is for the NEW issues THEY inflicted on my vehicle. I brought my truck in with no lights on my dashboard. They returned it to me with the airbag light on and say that it's not their fault. Seriously? I literally have a video and photos of my vehicle inside and out that I took the day of dropping it off just in case I encounter a problem. And here we are. I've already contacted their corporate office who is supposed to be conducting an investigation. I really hope they can make this right. I now have to take my truck to the dealership to run a diagnostic. That's more money I need to come up with out of pocket that I don't have. And the manager claims to be a Christian man, playing his Christian music, yet what they did was not "Christ-like". You guys know what you did to my vehicle and don't want to take accountability for it. You've reach out to my insurance to see if they would cover this to put more money in your guy's pocket and they said no. Stay far away from this place! They are a SCAM. Their communication also sucks when they told me my truck was ready when it was not making me waste time, gas, and late to work. Do better. read more

Somebody tried to steal my car while I was at a hotel in Albuquerque. They completely destroyed the doorhandle. Fortunately they didn't get in, but the door wouldn't open. I knew exactly where I wanted to take it to get fixed. After calling my insurance company I had my agent set me up with Caliber Collision, Rancho location. I've used this company before and they did an excellent job. This location was awesome. From start to finish they were so professional. I knew exactly what was happening to my car at all times. TRASH! The lady at the front desk seems like she wakes up on the wrong side of the bed.. every time I'm here. Her demeanor is annoyed, rude as fawk, passive aggressive and condescending. BTW, why am I here !? So often?! To encounter the worst customer service I have ever experienced !!?? The repair work is crap but is under warranty. It's been fixed twice. Here for a 3rd time. They said they were going to replace the door with the initial repair. They didn't replace anything and decided to "repair" it. Soo hopefully 3rd times a charm. They covered a rental but it was a gawd dam hassle and fight! They took three weeks for this reservation / drop off and still dropped the ball. Took 4 weeks last time and quoted a month this time as well. Stay far far far away from this place. Even if the insurance company send you. Anyplace that asks for yelp reviews should be seen as a red flag! No value and a complete waste of time. *** I wrote this review and left it in draft. Everyone has off days!. Right ? Today I picked up my car and the lady was still rude. Unwelcoming and really needs an attitude check and customer service refresh. I have taken many cars to this place and the quality of work is horrible. They tried many times to fix things that I have to call them out on. The front bumper that they fixed came off a few months later. When we called them to let them know, they wanted us to go to the Rickey rd location of Caliber Collision to have them fix it instead of them. Maybe they fix cars with just glue and then they fall off when you drive away. And charge your insurance company's an arm and leg. Do t go there. Go somewhere else. Nothing like wasting a month thanks to just completely poor communication. Car was scratched up by another driver on 08/14 so I requested a quote online before filing a claim on advice from my insurance co. Their quote was reasonable so a few days later I called to schedule and was told that they don't do self pay despite me filing out the online quote form for self pay. After grabbing a few more quotes and calling a few more places I decided to go through insurance and called them up to schedule. They were two weeks out on even giving quotes but I figured maybe that was common. They had all my information via the insurance claim and were one of the closest repair shops. 12 days into my 14 day wait to even get a quote I get a call telling me that this location does not work on Teslas. They don't know if any other of their locations do work on them and have no way to check. My appointment is cancelled and i'll have to call around to find a place that does. After making a bunch of calls I found a different company that could get my car in for an estimate today, start work on it tomorrow, and have it back by Friday. The only positive part of the experience with Caliber were the people on the phone calls. They were polite and tried their best to help me as much as possible. If you've got a month to waste and don't actually want your car repaired, give them a call. read more

Awful. My car is no where near factory. From missing parts, to a still bent core support. Seemed great up front, but missed the mark. My car is heavily modified. And I get a modified car won't ever go together like stock. And that's fine. I expected some things wrong. Firstly, I noticed the upper fenders still slightly out of shape. Is that the reason my cowl won't clip? I don't know. Cowl isn't clipped in. Hood, they did okay. It's clear they laid the hood down before it was dried enough to be handle. Bumper looks okay, aside from the hole in the grille in which a factory piece is suppose to be. They did replace aftermarket part for me, kinda. It's missing a piece. This part also bolts to the core support. The core support is bent, so nothing lines up. Should have been obvious after the threads were stripped from someone trying to impact on the passenger radiator stay. And then the two bolts that hold part of the core support in place were impacted on so tight that they were rounded. Needed an extractor to pull the bolts. Missing some hardware that was there when the car was given to them. Still missing factory pieces. There's over spray in spots that could have been easily avoided, like a connector that's clipped to a panel. This place doesn't care. It's so bad, I don't even want to let them have a second chance with my car. read more

I wrote this while I was sitting in the Caliber lobby waiting for my vehicle to get finished. I waited to post it until my anger turned into disappointment. It felt lime it took forever but it was only an additional 2 weeks from the original completion date. Let me just say that they text you updates regularly but don't get too happy with the completion date at the beginning! They had all the parts in a timely manner but the actual repair completion took 10 days longer because the paint job wasn't right! That mess up on the paint job cost me an extra $300 for car rental fees. ( I know you can have rental insurance on your policy but my agent messed up and I didn't have it on this policy.) If they don't have adequate personnel to fix the mess they made, why should I have to pay for the rental for an extra week??? As for the repair, it looked great but now my front passenger door rubs every time the door is opened. In conclusion, don't use this location unless you have plenty of time (& money) for a rental! read more

She explained to me in layman's terms what was going to happen and what the scenarios were. All in all, i felt like my concerns and the car's needs were addressed and i felt taken care off. If there would come a time, i would need body repair, i wouldnt hesitate to take it to Caliber Collision. They kept me updated with the status of my car, they connected me with Enterprise next door for my rental car. And they even gave my dusty subie a courtesy wash when they didnt need to. I dropped my car off and I spoke with Jamel who was super friendly and went over the damage with me. My car was there for a few weeks, but I expected it with the amount of damage and they always kept me updated with phone calls. When I went to pick up my car it looked brand new and they totally cleaned the entire car. Such an easy process through them and I really appreciated the constant updates from them as well. i was directed to take my truck to caliber (Rancho) as one of my insurance preferred collision specialist. The front desk ladies I thought were just not helpful or nice. After being turned away upon my first visit and asked to return the following day they ended up deciding it was a job they felt was beyond their ability... I appreciated the honesty that they thought they wouldn't be able to fix my truck correctly and one of the members did point me in the right direction to a more competent shop. I'm on crutches with a debilitating disability and wish they would at the very least got the door for me when I struggled with the door I felt that the whole team was disinterested, dismissive and just not really kind. I did end up going elsewhere so I did not see what type of work they could do, just a less than positive experience. read more
