He assured me the warranty would cover anything to the paint for something like 10 years. 2 years later both spots on door started cracking again (8'x4' areas). Work on: Honesty, transparency and a whole lot of customer service classes. They left his car outside and took money that didn't belong to them. I found this business on Yelp, with all 5 star reviews. I initially thought they were real reviews so I told a very good friend of our family that I'd found a great shop as he had just been in an accident and was hurt at age 70. He had also found out he had cancer so I wanted to help anyway possible. The owner Eric stated " I've been doing this 30 years". That should have been my first red flag! He was around 45, yet I wanted to help. He took the front of his car apart and left it outside, sent my 70 year old friend a text DEMANDING money from his insurance company. Not stating that Diamonds had already received a supplemental payment of $3737.56 and $153.00 my friend has never had online banking and had no clue the insurance company had sent him a payment. Eric wanted over $10,000 to fix a 2019 in which they could total out for the bumper damage. I told him no he hadn't received anything yet and Eric acted as if he hadn't received anything either. Eric's wife gets on the phone rude as ever! And stated come get the car and pay us $175 a day for storage. Then Eric says give me $350.00 for breakdown of the front end. We agreed as he is going through enough. When the 70 year old gets there all the guy employees come out like thugs for an old man it was disgraceful and disgusting. He later said the wife was rude and he was scared for his life. The insurance company told us they had paid him $3737.56 and $153.00 I called him and they told him to send the money back as he also charged our friend $350.00 he never sent all the money back. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The dishonesty to keep something you didn't work for is a never! Stay away is my opinion. Amazing job! Eric is a miracle worker!!! After a semi-truck backed into my car, I thought all was lost. I went to another well known auto body shop for a quote. They basically told me they couldn't help me and to junk the car because there were no parts available for a 2009 car like mine. Friends and family even told me I would never be able to get it fixed. But when I brought it to Diamonds Auto Body, Eric and Areli treated me like family. They went above and beyond to help me. They kept me informed at every step of the way. Right from the start I knew they would do everything they could to help me. I figured anything would be better than the mess it was in. I called probably 20 different shops to get estimates on body work and paint on my 1996 Ford Ranger. The clear coat was peeling, there were old bondo spots cracking, it needed a complete sand down, dent repair and new paint. Eric matched the best price I found (including Maaco, who told me there would probably be some debris left in the paint surface since they have their paint booths open 5-6 times a day - but they would buff out the paint for a mere $900 extra.) I think that most shops want to just crank out insurance work, but Eric and his other body man clearly take pride in their craft. They did an amazing job, removing the bed, refinishing bed rails and plastic trim, repairing all dings and dents, sanded down to bare metal on most of the truck, repainted it to match the factory maroon, buffed it out to a super smooth finish, even buffed out the chrome rims that had some corrosion, polished the cloudy headlight lenses and detailed the entire truck. The truck looks brand new. He even sent me photos and videos of progress on the truck over the 3 weeks it took him to do the job. I will be referring anyone I know that needs paint or body work to Diamonds Auto Body. Photos coming shortly! read more
