Oh my goodness - -!! Did it go well? Well how's this for it going well - - I had a car collision about two years ago and they did an extraordinary job. The manager or the owner - I'm not sure but I think he might be the owner of the shop - - his name is Sev and he couldn't be nicer or more cooperative and comforting if I had asked! Long story, short, he did the work on my car. It came out beautifully and pure perfection... Then... about a year later I was driving along the freeway, and I thought something had fallen off the front of the car and when I got out later that day it turned out a giant piece of the bumper had dropped out. I called, he said to come right down and ready for this? I waited almost a year before I embarrassingly called again to tell him that I had been in New York and traveling, but the truth is I just was an idiot for not having gone in sooner. I got there with my girlfriend from Sacramento and literally within 15 minutes they found the part that was missing - - literally a piece of what looked like the bumper to me had fallen off, but it turns out that someone possibly has stolen it because it was an electrical connection. They reconnected it, put the bumper back on within 20 minutes didn't charge me one penny and I walked away almost in tears because he was so kind. Again I say run, don't walk! We took our car to Caliber Collision after it was vandalized in DTLA. I was surprised at how well managed the place was. We were able to get an appointment to drop off our car within a few days of calling at a time that was convenient for us. The insurance adjuster met us there and gave a quote to fix the damage, which was paid directly to Caliber. The rep at Caliber (Art) was responsive, knowledgable, kept us informed on the progress of our repair which took about a week. Our insurance required us to use aftermarket parts, and when I picked up the car I wasn't happy with the way the new hood fit the car. Art called the insurance company and got them to approve a non-aftermarket hood, and then re-did the job. The BEST people!!!! I had a very challenging issue with the headlights on my Mercedes. I had been to a couple different places and no one could figure out why they weren't working. Ray is so AMAZING! I have to brag about a certain person just because I was able to get done what I needed with the most transparency I have ever faced. Sometimes in life you just come across those people who are so special and make such an impact. Ray is for sure one of those guys from what I have experienced so far. Recently I drove here for an estimate on damages to my vehicle. Ray was so kind to fit me in right away. Then once he saw my issue he spoke to me, human-to-human and gave me my best options. I'm a small girl so my ability to be vulnerable in these situations is variant. Luckily I grew up working on cars which you'd never guess -not like it comes with its own "look". But Ray really made me feel taken care of and that I was in great hands. Right away you get this "family-feel" once you get into their shop. There are awards from all over town and they present themselves very well for an auto shop. The assistant at the front desk was so considerate and went above and beyond in helping my needs as well. She made sure to speak professionally, she was very thorough, and always called me right back when she said she would. I kept forgetting her name and I'm sorry I did because I want to add her in here. But I'll call and get her name for credit. She really is great. I make so many professional calls all day and her professionalism is a breath of fresh air. You can tell she is on top of things but gentle in her mannerism. I'm almost bummed out that I ended up getting work done elsewhere because this is the one time I would be willing to spend thousands of dollars just so I have the opportunity to work with such a great company.
