This review is embarrassingly overdue. A few years back, I went to this location to fix a dent I had on my car. The associate looked at it and popped it out within seconds. Perhaps others would know what to do without going to a repair shop, I am not one of those people. When I asked how much I owed, he didn't charge me. Again, perhaps this wasn't a big deal but I really really appreciated it!! Thankfully I haven't needed anything since that day but if the time comes again, I'll be sure to go here. 2002 Nissan Pathfinder. Only 102, 000 miles. Great condition on except for the weather stripping around a door--passenger seat behind the driver's seat--came loose. The part is not made by Nissan anymore, nor can it be ordered as an after factory part. I got a really wonderful guy, Chris, at Caliber Collision who knew how to fix it. I stood right there while he did. He said he is pretty sure it will stay in place. NO CHARGE. It was also easy to set up an appointment to have my car looked at and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this body shop. read more

made an appointment to get an estimate on my Toyota Camry front left bumper which had come loose. Very friendly staff upon arriving. Then Luis came over to greet me and we took a look at the loose bumper. He informed me that the insurance adjuster had to inspect and issue paperwork first. I asked, "can I just superglue it temporarily?" He said that they can do it now with auto glue so he drove it inside the shop. After about ten minutes he drove it back out and they had screwed in the top and secured the bottom of the loose bumper....really solid! I said "how much do I owe you?" and he said "no charge." The repair work was excellent and of course they offer you a ride home. They have a relationship with Enterprise, so I was able to drop off my rental with Caliber Collision car when I picked up my car. Caliber Collision repaired my car back in 2019 after someone hit a traffic cone on the freeway, lodging it under my car. There was all sorts of damage to the radiator, A/C components, and other parts of the undercarriage. Later in the year I noticed that the A/C wasn't cooling as much and it was making noise. COVID restrictions kept me from taking it in for another full year to see if the issue was under warranty, but I finally took it in on Tuesday. Richard Hurtado was gracious and professional, assured me they'd look everything over, and even gave me a ride back to my house. Once inspected it was found that the issue with the A/C was not related to the repairs done in 2019. Richard took the extra step to speak with his manager, Will Anderson, who graciously covered the repair at no cost to me. I was absolutely floored! And on top of that, they also installed and painted a replacement driver side mirror that I'd purchased to replace my broken one. After no luck searching all over town to get a simple estimate and identifying the damaged parts from when my Future Ex-wife drove my car through the curb, I reluctantly went to a "Dealership" who quoted me $550 for parts and labor to fix it back to normal. I randomly went into Caliber Collision in Pasadena on Walnut St to see if they could help, and their Manager, Manuel Morales with their technician, Jose took excellent care of me! They told me to find the part and they would install it for me. I found the OEM parts online, and as promised they installed the part good as new! Finally after 4 years, No more painful scrapping bottoming out sounds when driving in/out of driveways, on speed bumps, or uneven roads... and saving me big time as well! My insurance co. had Caliber fix relative minor damage to my R rear bumper (scratch, taillight) which took over a week. I had been driving my car w/o ANY problems for a month after it was bumped. Upon driving it home from Caliber, for the 1st time in 6 yrs, the started flashing a "malfunction' message + the car is increasingly difficult to control, even on a city street, shaking back + forth. Caliber manager states that this could just be from the initial bump despite what I clearly reported as being absolutely NEW upon picking it up + as for the warning light, probably just 'coincidence'. they can't determine the cause they admit so they suggest I take it to the dealership--which is in another city. I explain that I don't think it's safe to drive + also I don't want to damage the car further bc we don't why it says 'malfunction'. This is Mercedes SUV--I've never seen a light go on by 'coincidence'. They refuse to tow it, digging in their heels that its my responsibility to drive the car they worked on + now has a new problem which they can't identify but they admit they didn't document or know about when they first began working on it, despite my concerns about the risk of driving it to my personal safety + others on the road and secondarily additional damage to the car which will likely be costly + we should try to prevent. To say this is bad customer service isn't really accurate. This is irresponsible service which is not only frustrating + time consuming to deal with but more importantly, it is dangerous. I will never do any business w/ Caliber + certainly will provide this feedback to my insurance plan, Geico as well. read more

This place is a dump. My nephew took his car and they charge the insurance over $10,000 and he paid his deductible and now that he wants to trade in the vehicle he has been told by multiple dealers that vehicle has frame damage. They are acting like oh we didn't check or yeah you need an alignment. But my nephew took the vehicle to multiple dealers and Bodyshops and they all said the same thing the vehicle should have been total. The frame damage can be seen once you open the trunk.
