I had a fender bender that resulted in some damage to my rear bumper. The other person's insurance wasn't particularly helpful and quoted me very low for the damages to my car. Luckily my insurance offered to waive my deductible and told me that Caliber Collision was part of their network for pre-approved repair shops. The process was great. I spoke with Jessica, a front desk clerk who was wonderful in this entire process from calendaring my appointment and onboarding me regarding expectations for the paperwork. Nahum was the tech that I worked with. During the initial assessment of my vehicle, I also asked him for a quote for a side scrape I had on my car. He told me the price and informed me that this would involve body work and taking out the windows for the panel to be repaired and repainted. I told him I wanted to think about it a bit more before going through with that repair, but of course authorized the repair for the fender bender. Nahum was great and communicative. He told me what to expect and originally told me that the repair may take a few days. He called me a few hours later and advised that additional damage was found under the bumper and a part needed to be replaced. Lucky me the part came the next day and Nahum was able to get the bumper repainted. My car was there for only 1 day. It was a great turnaround and I am overall very pleased with the services that this shop and people had to offer. As a bonus Nahum did me a favor and actually helped buff out some of the scratches on the side panel. It was really kind and I can't thank him and anyone who worked on my vehicle at Caliber Collision enough. At the time of this review, it has been a week since my repair, and everything looks great. My car was repaired very sloppily by a nearby shop after I was rear ended. The bumper was misaligned and the color was off. You know when they say in plastic surgery that good work is not noticed? Well I think it's the same with cars. That whole thing was really stressful. I brought it to this Caliber and met with Nahum the manager. He was kind, helpful, validated my concerns and clear about the plan to fix it. They realigned and re-painted the bumper and it looks as good as new. Back to the rhythm of life. My car was damaged back in 2016 and fixed by a company that's no longer in business. After speaking to my insurance and being informed of some logistics, I was told to bring it back to the same location and the new company "Caliber Collision" would have a look and see if it would be covered. After speaking to Nahum Martinez one of the service advisors, he went above and beyond and informed me they would fix the issue with my window! A week ago my car got hit by someone and I just wanted the car fixed. The person that hit my car took my car to a cheap repair facility. I was not pleased with the results from the other shop before taking it to Caliber Collision. Nahum, the service adviser immediately pointed out all the imperfections from the other shop and provided me with options on repairing the front bumper. As it turns out the front bumper was not repairable due to the botched job that the other facility did. Luckily Caliber Collision was looking out for my best interests. Nahum explained all of my options. I was so comfortable knowing that I had options but I opted to replace the bumper instead of attempting to fix the old one (which I purchased brand new from the other repair facility). Throughout the process I was anxious, assuming the worst. After experiencing such a bad experience at the other repair facility I did not know what to expect. The day came to pick up the car, which by the way they were so fast I got my car back within 4 days on Thanksgiving weekend. I was so so happy that my car looked like it was right out of the showroom. The car was COMPLETELY detailed and cleaned inside and out. I honestly couldn't tell that the bumper was replaced. I brought my 2018 Mercedes in to Caliber Collision to fix my front bumper. Long story short the vehicle is low profile and somehow the bumper got snatched up on a parking bump stop. When I reversed the vehicle the bumper completely got pulled off, breaking the front bumper tabs. I knew the repair would end up being a couple of thousand of dollars. My car is a lease so I was concerned about the color not matching to the paint. I did not want to be liable in paying the leasing company a fee for the bumper and I explained that to Nahum the Service Adviser. He reassured me that they do not cut any corners in the repair and if I was not satisfied with the paint on the car they would respray it FREE of charge (assuming there were issues with the paint). Throughout the repair process I was notified via email and texts on the status of my vehicle (which I opted into when you sign the paperwork for them to fix your car). I was blown away at the professionalism from the service adviser, Nahum. I appreciate his transparency regarding the repairs. Nahum made sure that I was completely satisfied with the repairs during the whole repair process. He also provided me with a discount on the service ; which was not expected. They delivery day came and I was blown away and taken aback. I could not tell that the car was involved in any incident. They also detailed and washed my car, which they do not have to do. It's the little details that count and I can proudly say that I will be referring friends to Nahum so they can get their vehicles taken care of. A month ago, I was involved in an accident on the freeway and someone rear-ended my car. The damage to my rear bumper were pretty bad, but luckily the other party had car insurance and liability so their insurance company was able to pay for all the damages to my vehicle. Coral, the front desk receptionist is so friendly and wonderful to work with. When I first went in, she was able to help me with all the paperwork and informed me on the process and who I can contact if I have questions regarding my car repairs, etc. Her perfume smelled wonderful too! And we were just chatting away for a bit while I was waiting to have my vehicle seen. She's really sweet and brought a smile to my face when I walked in! Nahum, the auto mechanic that worked on my car repairs gave exceptional service, beyond what I expected. He called me the following morning to inform me about the damages that were found before and after the bumper was removed from my car. He texted me daily to keep me in the loop about what was going on and when I can expect my car to be finished and ready for pickup. When I went to pick up the car, it looked nice and shiny and extremely clean - like a brand new car!!! Took the car in due to a no-fault accident that happened. Back end bumper dented by some guy who wasn't paying attention in a parking lot. Everything was fine, took the car in for the estimate ($1200) and the other person's insurance was going to cover it. So set up an appointment for them to make the repairs. A week later they change the quote to $4100. This caused the car to get totaled out. They never took it apart or anything, just changed the total cost like that. Seems sus for sure. The employees are friendly and courteous. The woman at the front desk sometimes seems a bit confused. Couple of things bothered me; the gate from the sidewalk that leads to the parking lot and front door is left open all weekend. On Saturday at 1p I was able to walk onto the lot, open the door to my car, and retrieve a couple of items I needed. Could be a problem. Also, they won't call you when your car is ready. I recently cracked the tail light in my Subaru Forester backing up into a pole just a couple months after I had replaced the rear bumper at Caliber Collision. They were so nice and told me if I got the part from Subaru they would install it for me in 20 minutes. I stopped by today with my new rear light assembly and they popped it in and I was on my way. I visited the Caliber Collision location on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena because I had received excellent service prior at this shop. Mr. Nahum Martinez was the gentleman who helped me both times and his service and demeanor put me at ease. Mr. Martinez did not even charge me for the second repair because he said it was a very small issue. Another shop would have charged me $50 or $60 to pop the bumper feature into place, but he did not and for this I will always be grateful. Please visit this shop for your body repair needs. I called in to get an appointment and they had one the same day. I went in and they looked at my car door (the latch broke). They told me they didn't know how long it would take so I left it. The next day they said maybe Friday but then later on in the afternoon I got a text saying my car was ready! I went to pick it up and they got the part in that day and fixed it as soon as possible so I would have it for Thanksgiving. I was happy to have it back even before I expected. My front driver side light was broken. I tried my best to pop it out so I can put in a new one but, I wasn't able to without the right tools. I was really hesitant to go to an auto body shop because I didn't want to get ripped off. I called Alan here at Caliber collision this morning when they opened at 7:30. I told him my situation, and he told me just to come in and they would do it. I was very nervous about my light getting worse as I drove it more. I came in and Alan and Monty. Told me they would take a look at it and told me to wait in the waiting room. I was very nervous but just a few minutes later they told me to come out. They said it wasn't too big of a job, and they were able to pop out the light and replace it with the one that I had brought. And if you can believe it, they didn't charge me! Since it was a smaller job, they said it was fine. Honestly, as a woman it's very hard to go to these kind of places, and not feel like you're going to get ripped off. They definitely could've charged me for the service regardless of how easy it was. They even fixed some of the white marks that was around the light where I had hit it. Wow, I won't be going to any other place in the future because this place is just literally the best. This is my second time coming to caliber collision. The first time was years ago and I came back hoping to receive good customer service like I did last time and they exceeded my expectations. But they are closed weekend's and only do estimates on certain days. They don't realize people have jobs and it's difficult for some of us to take days off. read more
