Made an appointment for an estimate for hail damage. After the inspection was complete, they told me they would send me an email with the estimate the next day. I had hail damage to my vehicle, Because I have Gieco, the company asked me to have the appraisal completed at Caliber. The settlement was $1600.00 with an appearance allowance (my deductible) of $250.00. However, Ricky (the adjuster) never informed me that I had to pay the $250.00 to Caliber, he merely stated that I could have the additional work that Caliber could not do at a shop of my choice and to use the $250.00 appearance allowance. Now, after 3 weeks following completion of the work... Caliber is asking for the $250.00. WOW. Do you know the PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) work that the sub contractor did, the usual customary cost is about $200.00 to $300.00. Caliber and the sub contractor profited fro Gieco by about 700%. I really should have had another shop do the repair. If they pursue collections, I am certain a Judge would find unfair practices. read more

EH. I don't really have anything great to say. My experience was just OK overall. My car was finished in time (yay) but they didn't really explain the process at all. I had no idea how long my car was going to be in the shop (the estimate said 0 days). The adjuster called me the day after I dropped it off to say that it would be ready on time, the following day. That was the only reason that I knew the time frame for repairs. The receptionist didn't seem to know anything that was going on. I had to ask what I was supposed to do with the check that the insurance company gave to me, because no one had asked me for it. When I dropped my car off my appointment was at 8:45 am, they didn't see me until 9:20ish, once I finally did meet with the adjuster, it was only about a 3-5 minute quick meeting to just walk around the car, sign a sheet of paper. I asked what the hold up was, because no one else was there. The receptionist just starred at me with a blank stare. I let her know that I had to be at another appointment at 10 am on the other side of town and finally we were able to see the adjuster and then go over to Enterprise for the rental. I barely made it to my next appointment. I was rear-ended and had part of my rear door replaced. I've noticed when I close and open it quickly I can hear something rolling around inside the door. read more

Believe me, you want to use Caliber Collision. I mistakenly dented my front bumper - badly, including internal damage - and the team helped me immediately and efficiently. Tommy Johnson gave me an accurate and reasonable quota right away and when I left him my BMW 3 series, he finished all of the work within two days. I couldn't have asked for better service. I took my car to the Richmond, VA Dabney Rd location. I had the most painful and frustrating experience imaginable going to Caliber. I got into a very small fender bender (could barely tell it was an accident), and it took them nearly 3 weeks to get my car back to me. There was only one person who could give me any kind of update, and her schedule was completely unpredictable (e.g. I would be told she will be in at 8, then 10, then 11, then she won't be in until tomorrow). I always had to call to get an update. If they said they would call me, they didn't. Horrible customer service. I will NEVER take my car here again and will never recommend to anyone. read more

My husband noticed two deep scrapes on my year- old Honda that had not been there the previous day and we had no idea how they had gotten there. I took my car to a body shop for an estimate and was told that they could repair it the following week. At another repair shop, I was told that I would have to make an appointment to get an estimate. I then proceeded to do what I should have done when we noticed the damage and called GEICO. The agent arranged an appointment with Caliber Collision the next day, since I called in the afternoon, and I even had my choice of several times. When I arrived, the people in the shop greeted me by name, had my paperwork ready, along with the SUV rental I requested. Josh, my Service Advisor, was fantastic! He immediately introduced me to the GEICO representative and I felt I was in very capable hands. Josh said that my car would be ready in a day or two and asked the best way to contact me to keep me informed of the car's repair. True to his word, Josh called later that afternoon, and said the car would be ready the next day and it was. The car looked PERFECT when I picked it up! Plus it had been washed and was so shiny. FANTASTIC SERVICE. If it weren't for Manager's like James at Caliber, the overall customer satisfaction would not be fulfilled. James went the extra mile to make sure that the Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) process was 100 % completed. After the contractor finished relieving a number of hail dings, I noticed one small one remaining. In less than an hour, Caliber sent a specialist to my home to work out the last ding. It took 15 minutes. I cant say how pleased I am with James and his superior customer satisfaction protocol. Caliber hired the right guy to manage the Dabney Road branch....that's for sure. read more

When pulling into a parking space, I scraped the side of my brother's truck. It was a very minor scratch that wasn't deep. He took this to West Broad Collision Center (Ford) and they said it was going to cost over $1,000.00 to fix. Today he took it to Caliber Collision on Dabney Road and the guy buffed it out for NO CHARGE! I would 100% recommend them. They will not take advantage of you and will give you a fair price. They also give free estimates before any work is done. read more
