Had a accident and this shop was suggested by AAA. I was not waiting long to get the paperwork done, get a rental and let them to do their magic. I was updated on Tues and Thurs of the progress throughout the duration of repairs. I was told 8-10 working days and I was ok with that. Well 5 days later my car was fixed, detailed and ready for pickup. They took care of everything including filling up tires, washing the car and making sure everything was explained before I left the shop. 5 stars is not high enough for this kind of service. Hopefully I will not need them again, but if I do, I am happy to know they take care of each customer like they were the only one in the world. After a great experience I had at a Caliber Collision in Orange County a few years back in my truck, I decided to try this Caliber Collision on 14th St. this time. I was not disappointed! Once the at fault driver's insurance approved everything I got it into this shop, and I am so glad I did. First I met Alyssa, this super sweet, attentive, and beautiful girl at the front desk. She walked me through everything, arranged to get me into a rental at a nearby Enterprise, and kept me up to date with how the repairs were coming along and when I could expect to pick it up. Eddie (not as cute, but efficient) also kept me informed of the process, got me a quote for other repairs and was overall a cool dude. Picked up my ol lady's van today and it was immaculate. It was a speedy job, and the work is impeccable. Their customer service is on point, and now I know who to go to out here in Riverside for future work if the need arises again. When my car was hit 2 weeks ago, I basically had the choice to get it repaired at any auto body shop I wanted. I decided to go with Caliber Collison because it was literally down the street from my house. I definitely don't regret it. Everyone was very professional and the communication with the customer was A-1. They kept me updated with the whole process every step of the way from the moment I dropped my car off to the moment I pick it up. My son had a collision with another vehicle. He went to see Josue and he assured that the car is in good condition for an 8-hour drive back to Norcal. He also said that the car would be ready in 3 business days. Sure enough he delivered his promise. My son went back to Caliber Collision this time because he had a very positive experience the first time he was here in May 2018. Moreover, Elsie took the time and asked her supervisor as to where we can dump the broken bumper from the last accident. Miguel was kind enough not only to rub out the major portion of the scrape at no charge, but also to advise me about people who could help with detailing of the car. Entire front bumper came off and a plastic part was in contact with the asphalt. Towed the car here, thinking I was gonna spend a couple hundred bucks to reattach the bumper and fix anything else that may be necessary. The front desk personnel were extremely nice and considerate of my dilemma (especially Alyssa). Was told I'd be called to receive an estimate and to give them confirmation to fix the car, but after waiting the whole day I was the one to call them (twice). That's only a minor nuisance. The big screw-over was the actual estimate hitting over $2K of repairs/finishes of parts other than my bumper. Based on their estimate, if I calculate solely on just the bumper repairs that were absolutely needed to get my car back on the street, I'd have spent $500-700. My hood was fine, my fender was fine, I didn't care about the grille.. yet these and other unnecessary items (paint, polishing, tint color) were on the estimate. I specifically said I just wanted work on the front bumper to get the car to drive safely (or legally for that matter). Also, whoever gave me the estimate over the phone seemed to have no sympathy for my situation. Of course I was extremely hesitant and shocked at the price point, but in response, the guy was like "yep you can pick your car up in the morning if you don't want the repairs." I didn't go through with the repair. No doubt that if they did said work on the car, it'd be of great quality. But my experience was sour and a waste of time (and tow/uber money). I felt like they just wanted to maximize the amount of $ they could make from my situation. read more

First time being in a car accident. Decided to take my vehicle with Caliber Collision auto shop, corner of 14th and Park Avenue. The receptionist was friendly. My vehicle was taken in, left at the body shop. Originally told be ready within a week. A week turned into three months. Burden to me to be without a vehicle for three months plus, making car payments for a vehicle that is sitting at a shop. Had to car pool with a co- worker. The great thing about that was I have a great friend/ co- worker that help me to get to and from work. I had to constantly get rides for my children to and from school. Because of their incompetent, unorganized and unreliable customer/client service. Getting my vehicle fixed and return was a headache, struggle. Within 3 months plus , vehicle I would think I would have it return in excellent condition like new. Bumpers not aligned properly, took it back. Body technician came out and just pump it and stated that's all it needed. My vehicle tail light gets fill with water, when it rains or gets car wash. I took it in again stated yes it was their fault and mistake. I been getting the run around, states the left tail light was order and be in within a week. I honesty so over it been dealing with the same lie for a while. I would not take refer anyone to this auto shop. Unprofessional, Unreliable and not an honest, truth worthy technicians if you are a lady. I had to be out without a vehicle, struggling to and from work along with my children to and from school. Paying a car payment, insurance for a vehicle not using. After all assuming car would be return and topnotch conditions. I know decide will need to pay for my own tail light and if their haven't had any electrical problem. Their very quick to charge and get paid for work that supposed was done to your vehicle. But was not taken care off. Please, especially if you are a lady ...DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS AUTO SHOP. read more

I was rear ended at a stop light, my bumper was completely destroyed along with the frame being bent and the trunk not closing anymore. This shop really took Care of me from the moment I walked in the receptionist was very helpful and sweet I couldn't thank her enough for communicating and basically holding my hand through the whole process. If you've never been in an accident before this whole process can be pretty intimidating but despite the stress this shop was very professional Bryan really made me feel comfortable and he went above and beyond. He did not make excuses, he simply said I'm sorry this happened, this is not what Caliber is about and we would like the opportunity to correct our mistake. Caliber successfully repaired the bumper on my Ford Edge. The quality of their repair was above satisfactory. Sadly, caliber failed to order an additional part for my vehicle extending the expected complete time. Fortunately, caliber impressed me with personally picking up the missing part to accomplish the expected time frame. Absolutely amazing SERVICE! The team over here at the 14th street location is top notch. First, let's remember they didn't break or damage our car, they are just trying to help. It's a hard job they have because auto body work isn't always cheap and they have the hard job of giving us the bad news of cost to repair. What I can say about Kevin and his staff is that they understand that I wasn't excited spending money on fixing my car but it is necessary so they worked really hard to get my costs down to only what I really needed. I appreciated that they had options for me and tried to make the most economical one work, but sadly I have an old car and it just needed the entire new part. The quick fix wasn't possible. I appreciate that they walked me through everything, they even took me out to the shop and showed me the irreversible damage and how they were fixing it. They not only helped me but taught me something about my car. Additionally they were speedy!! I'm a sales rep and if I'm not on the road not making money. I had an estimate (which took 15 mins) and then the part was ordered and delivered in just a few days and they made sure to work around my schedule!! If i could I'd give more stars to Caliber Collision. I first came in after my car was struck by another vehicle on my way home. From the very beginning the staff was welcoming and reassuring. I had the crazy misfortune of then having two other vehicles, one a rental, and the other my prized Toyota Tacoma that i thought I'd have forever get hit and deemed a total loss by my insurance company. Despite all of the stress these accidents caused, the staff at Caliber, particular Josue and Alyssa, were amazing. Josue checked in on me routinely while i was waiting on my insurance company and was trying to help me in any way that he could. They all went above and beyond and for these reasons, ill be a lifetime return customer for any auto body repairs i might need in the future. Wow! I have used this body shop before, and I have always been very pleased, but this morning I was blown away. One rainy day, my driver's side rearview mirror had an unfortunate encounter with an empty garbage can and was left dangling.
