Great customer service. I came here with an appointment for an estimate due to being side-swiped on the freeway. Our estimator, Mitch, determined that the sheet metal wasn't damaged. He then grabbed a compound and a rag and wiped it over the scuff mark...problem solved. He said there was no charge. First impression matters. I haven't even gotten my estimate yet but I already feel safe leaving my car with them. I was victimized by a hit and run over the weekend and I immediately called my insurance company to file a claim. Francisco was sweet as pie and a reminder that good people do exist. My driver side mirror was knocked off. I called around and most places were closed because it was 530pm on a Thursday evening. Not only did Francisco pick up but even suggest I stop by even though they were about to close up shop. He popped that mirror back in and refused to charge me...not even a tip! So the least I could do was tell him a joke, make him laugh and write a stellar review of his beautiful heart and example of how to create community. I went there for service after a jerk hit me. I thought I was dropping my car off. It turns out they didn't want to service me. They said nothing, just sent me away. I wanted to come here because it was close to where I live, but apparently, they don't work with everyone. I don't know why, but it was weird being sent away after he looked after my car. No explanation or anything. I asked him why he was sending me away and he said nothing. I told him that I had a mild concussion and talked to the guy about concussions and my symptoms. But he sent me away and didn't tell me why. If he thought the damage wasn't enough? Did he think I was trying to waste their time? Nothing! I was so excited to go there but after I was brushed off, I'm glad I left. I'd hate to leave my car with them. They may damage it more or do a horrible job. My catalytic converter was stolen my first night in Berkeley, and my insurance sent me here. I had to wait until after the Labor Day holiday to tow it there, but still, they were the first shop with any availability to take my car. They worked hard to find my part quickly even though everyone was saying it takes 3-6 months to get a catalytic converter. They found one and even drove down to Fremont to pick it up. This auto body shop is super organized and detailed oriented. I brought in my Highlander after my front bumper and side was hit. They gave sound advice and were honest up front with the timing of repairs, car rentals, estimates, etc. After getting a couple of quotes, I came back to them and they already had all my notes in a file, so I didn't have to explain anything to them again. That's a huge deal these days. They repaired the car perfectly, but I really liked how they made 10 year old car look like I bought it new yesterday. They polished my headlamps, vacuumed inside, did a light detail and even made sure my tire pressure on all my tires were good since the light was on. Disappointed and mad as hell! My vehicle insurance sent my vehicle for repairs to Caliber Collusion in San Pablo, CA after a hit and run accident where I was the victim; my vehicle was damage on the front right passenger side, to my dismay, the day I was to pick it up, I called Caliber to confirm, but I was told that they forgot to call me to let me know that my vehicle would be kept for four more days, my rental car contract had to be extended for those four days; when I finally got the vehicle back, the transaction at Caliber was a very quick "get your car and get out of here" type of thing because they were closing the shop. The weather was cloudy and drizzling, I did not noticed that the windshield had a crack on it, when I saw it the next day, I brought it back to complain, but they blame me instead; I explained to them that I had not driven the car anywhere, but from their shop to my house, which is 1.4 miles from their shop, but they decided not to cover the damage they caused!
