Suspicious insurance activity that went on after my car was repaired! I am not sure that this is a legitimate business! I would ask the owner, Phil for his business license. I contacted Phil to replace the front bumper on my 2019 Ram truck as I hit a large rock and it was damaged pretty bad. It was a complicated job due to the multiple parking sensors and the multiple brackets involved and he did an excellent job and I'm very happy with the work. I have to give these guys a Fiver -- the bottom line is that they're easy to communicate with, are willing to help find aftermarket and second-hand parts (needed, in this case, because Ford has discontinued their parts for this 1996 Ford Ranger), and have been willing to help me with delivery and towing, etc. My uncle had a stroke and smacked his truck. His auto insurance wasn't willing to repair the damage because the vehicle was too old, so we were kind of cut adrift. We found Collision Craft by following leads from the auto dealers, who sent us to repair shops who really didn't want to deal with us, since I was looking for a repair job to just 'get by'. I know that this is sometimes asking a lot, but the guys at Collision Craft really were great about understanding what I wanted, working with me to meet those goals, and keeping me in the loop about all costs and decisions. They are even delivering the finished vehicle back to my uncle's home, since I don't live nearby. They have been a pleasure to work with. I hate working on car problems, so they've been a breath of fresh air. They work in a weird conglomeration of shops and warehouses down at the end of Broadway in San Pablo, and I had trouble figuring out their access codes. Long Story Short, My coworker backed up into my car, and Collision Craft came to check it out and gave me a quote. I didn't hear from them for awhile because of the insurance that my company had was taking awhile to send a check, so both being patient, they sent the check over to Collision Craft and I ended up taking my car that got hit to a different body shop. But my other car, which I had fallen asleep in and magnificently screwed up the left side, needed repair. So I took it there and they let me use the credit from the previous car on it. I did have to pay extra, but that was for the extra costs from more damage! They gave me a huge break because, I am only a full-time student and a part-time worker, which extremely helped me out! I originally only paid for two new doors and paint, but they fixed my quarter panel to better than new, fixed my bumpers that had dents and cracks in them and repainted them! Phil does only great work. I had a very expensive car with a front bumper damage. All other places wanted to only replace and paint a new bumper. Phil restored an existing bumper which now looks brand new. Really good paint job and helped me save over $1000 read more

we maintain several fully restored vintage convertible Volkswagen bugs. when 1 of the bugs was backed into, it was nearly impossible to find a body shop on the list of ^^^ approved body shops that repaired classic cars as well as color matching the custom color paint. 1 of those shops referred me to Phil at Collision Craft and I'm thankful they did. I called Phil and asked if he had limitations on the types of cars he repaired and if he was able to color match he said," yes, we work on all cars from classics to current,color matching's not a problem. " I brought the bug in the same day for an estimate. When I walked in his shop, I knew that he was the one to do the work. He was repairing a completely restored 65 galaxy that was showcar clean. The car had been hit in the rear quarter and he had cut the skin off to weld in another panel as well as giving him access to pound out the damage behind it. amazing skill and talent. Phil gave me updates on the progress of the repairs as well as the delay in the delivery of parts etc. In the end the bug looked better than it did, you couldn't find any indication of the hood ever being dented in as he hammered the dent out opposed to filling it with tons of body filler. if you have a car that you love and need paint or body work from a shop you can trust,Collision Craft is 2nd to none. you don't find craftsmanship like this anymore.
